Expensive investment but was supposed to be a return on our water bill. 2 years later they are still trying to figure out why it won't function. Other homes on NY canal never having issues. Assured quality is out weekly trouble shooting and doing bandaid repairs, only to return when it goes out again, a few days later. We have already replaced the original pump installed in 2017 due to it burning out, they claim was a wiring failure for our original sprinkler system and not from the pump functioning... we argued, but paid it. Our confidence lacks in their knowledge and expertise to do irrigation set ups and their ability to deliver on customer satisfaction and remedy the issue timely and completely. it has been an expensive alternative with more dry landscaping than what we had when we were hooked up to city water. We still have had to resort to manual sprinklers and city water to offset the failing irrigation system, to avoid the yard burning up. So now we are paying double costs... would not recommend them for irrigation set ups.

Veterans Plumbing came to the house on June 25,2026 to deal with a low…read morewater pressure issue on a hose bib at the rear of the house and to install a Woodford valve on the other side of the of the home to run household water to the irrigation system should we run out of canal water in this drought. The work was completed that day and Veterans plumbing was paid in full $ 1575.00. After Ian left I went to wash the patio and did not have enough pressure to wash the patio. When we hooked up the Woodford valve to the irrigation system there was no pressure to run the irrigation system. Ian came back out on July 1st 2026 and tried to resolve the issues even calling in to his boss to try to remedy the problem. nothing got resolved. I decided to get another onion by another plumbing company. I discovered in the first half hour with the other plumbing that the hose bib valve that was put in for about 485.00 was defective, once replaced full water pressure was established. As we continued to look at Veterans Plumbing work we discovered that when the Woodford valve was installed for the irrigation they had taped into a 3/4 inch line feeding the bathroom with softened water. Not only would this of killed all the planting and lawn in the Newley installed landscaping but it was not sized correctly to get the pressures needed. I called into the office and told them what I was dealing with and a very unprofessional were sorry was all I got. The Ian that work in the office said well I am not a plumber I just schedule, did not offer a refund or to speak with anyone else in the company. This is a very poorly run outfit that has no Idea what they are doing and are charging prices for a well experienced plumber. ALL IN I PAID $1575.00 FOR A JOB THAT I AM NOW REDOING. STAY AS FAR AWAW AS YOU CAN FORM VRTRANS PLUMBING UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF.

Checking voltage, gas pressure, live camera, etc. The new install was done under a "home warranty repair contract," and I knew I wasn't bringing that guy back. But the Magic tech showed me the AC float switch that was never wired correctly, the tape that could have blocked a critical kill switch, and left me knowing everything was okay. He confirmed safeties were working properly (after service). I felt good with the updates done. Combustion assessment has a separate price tag, like an al a carte menu. He researched a replacement UV bulb and found a cost while onsite. There was quite a bit of effort to upsell into service agreements. Aside from that, I will certainly consider them for summer AC, hot water, and heater maintenance. For what I needed at the time, perfect. I am considering a annual service agreement for the heater, AC, and hot water. They are apparently expanding to attic insulation ad well. The negative reviews from "CA customers" are puzzling. He could have easily taken advantage of me, but he was open and honest. Afterwards, Danny gave me some great tips on how to improve my lawn and maximize the use of my sprinkler system.
