A couple of weeks later, came out on November 6th, checked things out and said they would send me a quote but never received it. Called a different company last week, received a quote next day and they just finished the job a couple of days ago. With horror and surprise we discovered our water heater was leaking. One call and within the hour Chris saves the day! Diagnosing the problem immediately. The home builders used galvanized pipes instead of stainless steel going into our water heater, which caused premature corrosion and failure. Chris gave us two estimates immediately. A bandaid fix that would buy us some additional time with our 7 year water heater months up to maybe a year... and a second one that replaced and redid all the shotty work so we could have a clean and reliable system for 10-12 years. not one to leave a bad review on people but I called him based on these yelp reviews below and my experience was a lot different than what is being described by others. initially, it took him 24 hours to call me back and he had not listened to the VM i left so I had to re-explain everything. I sent him as much info as I could about the job I needed done through text after our initial convo but he couldn't give me a quote because of the various factors of the job he said. mind you, it took him a full day to tell me this. I had to follow up and remind him I was waiting to hear from him. I said, "ok well then if you don't know what the estimate will be based on what i sent can you come look and give me a better idea?" i am attempting to get 3 bids because of how abnormally high the first plumber had been. It took him hours to text me back and then when I brought up coming here to give me an estimate he told me it would be $39 just to come quote me. He said if I went with him he would deduct that from the price. no thanks. I have to say, yelp rarely lets me down and maybe he was having a bad couple days? I was treated poorly and was pushed aside and I don't think that represents a 5-star business. read more
