One deed contained an incorrect APN/legal description, which caused issues with the Los Angeles County Assessor and required a corrective deed. Separately, the binder I received included the wrong deed (someone else's deed)--it belonged to a different property entirely. This kind of error should not happen in legal documents. When I brought up the issues, the response did not meaningfully address the problem, and I had to hire another professional to fix it. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend reviewing all documents carefully if you work with this office. One more thing, be aware that if you need your living trust to be done in a timely manner, this law office takes about 6-9 months to do a so so job. I was scared I was going to pass away before it was done.

But I ignored it and gave them the benefit of the doubt. Then I called the next day to discuss the firm potentially helping me with my case. Instead of being patient and allowing me explain, the representative sharply cut me of and turned me down, assuming I had a case fit for trial. But then I explained to him that my case was in default and would only need pre-litigation to complete. Then he was interested again. But as soon as I continued explaining, the man rudely cut me off again. Then when I simply asked him to allow me to finish, he over talked me again. So I gracefully excused myself. Whether a law office can assist with a case or not, I'm just a big believer in professionalism. I just wanted to share my experience. I contacted Probate House, on their website ironically, and they were quick to get back to me and set up a free consultation. It was a great experience and I learned that not only do I need a trust but also an Advanced Health Care Directive. They got the draft to me in a couple of weeks. I was able to make adjustments through email, and once everything was set I went in again to sign everything. I paid half up front and half after I signed...less than what I was expecting too.
