Future Christina, stick to the poke, skip the drink. I'm not a huge drink person, but I took a chance since I love interesting lemonade type drinks. This wasn't my favorite so I'd skip next time, but this place still deserves five stars for the poke. The poke bowls are amazing. I got a large size with two scoops of salmon. Next time I'd sub the pickled radish for cilantro (the pickled juices dominated as a flavor when I got lower in my dish). The mushroom was fantastic and they are not stingy with any toppings. The avocado and masago are always a good choice. My bowl was massive as you can see in the picture. On a Tuesday at lunch there was tons of seating available and nobody in line. We were walking so I can't comment on parking, but there are some metered street parking in front. Definitely allocate time for parking though. It's bright and clean. We sat at the counter facing outside and got to watch people walk by. Definitely an awesome place to grab a quick bite.
I love finding hidden gems and this is a hidden gem. I was exploring the area and came across this place and the sign for pineapple whip made me enter. I was so shocked to see the hot dogs they have! I love a fun and a new twist on food and these hot dogs are it! I tried the Bahn mi dog and Hawaiian dog and they did not disappoint. The flavors were so yummy and even though they have a lot going on the flavors worked well together. The whip is more like a sorbet than soft serve just so you are not shocked. It tasted just like the dole whip from Disney!
Yesterday my friend Chris and I decided to stop here before I headed home for his lunch. He decided to get a poke bowl with tuna I believe as well as edamame, pickled veggies, sushi rice and some type of sauce on top. The inside is very vibrant and feels like you are stepping into a Hawaiian restaurant. All the fish looked so fresh Dash and they had two different types of rice. Definitely need to stop here myself the next time and get some food all the pickled veggies looked very yummy as well. 10 out of 10 Definitely recommend this restaurant for a quick bite to eat.
I have been going to Pacific Counter for a few years now when I find myself in the downtown area of St Pete on Central Ave. I feel healthy when I eat Poke, and I will go out of my way for it if it's really rated high on Yelp. PC was one such place. Almost 5 stars, I had to check it out. It's a long narrow restaurant, wth seating up front and single tables all the way to the rear, as well as picnic tables outside to enjoy the weather and people watch. The staff always greets you with alacrity, and are very helpful wth menu items. You can create your own poke bowl with tons of selections, or choose carefully crafted bowls from PC's menu. I usually order one of thier set bowls. They are incredible. My only wish is that they had quinoa for a base ingredient :( However, I get brown rice and mesclun mix and it's really fresh and great. I usually get a salmon and tuna mixed bowl, and the fish quality is exceptional, up there wth the greatest poke places in SoFlo. The restaurant also offers a few hot dog selections, that I've been dying to try out, but no room after an enormous poke bowl. Next visit I'm going to try the Kimchi Dog!! It's a very active part of the city during lunch, so there's always foot traffic to watch. PC does catering, and they are popular in the area. I have used them for a catering event in St Pete and it was excellent quality and delivered on time. People in St Pete know this place if you know Poke! This place is consistently good, and I eat here whenever I get the chance. I recommend.
Fast, healthy-feeling meal. Fresh fish with good texture, quality ingredients, and excellent portions. Impressive place, and there are plenty of decent seating spots. I'll definitely be back. Parking can be hard to find, though.

As you step inside, you're greeted with a warm "aloha." It was my first visit, and I wasn't sure how to order. They offer both sweet and savory options. I created my own bowl with sticky rice, greens, and spicy salmon as the protein, along with a few other toppings. It was delicious! However, I wish they would mix all the ingredients together, not just the protein with the sauce, as the bowl was a bit small and the rice very sticky. I also tried the Spamusubi, a Hawaiian snack. It was okay, but the ratio of rice to spam felt unbalanced, lacking in protein. Overall, it was a nice spot for a fresh poke bowl. Located in downtown St. Pete, it's always pleasant to take a walk around after dinner.

4 stars for a nice poke bowl on St Petersburg! Our first visit was a couple years ago. When we visited this time we got a create your own bowl for $14. You get to choose two proteins and 5 toppings. You can also opt for two different bases, we got noodles with sushi rice. They also let you add as many crunchy toppings at the end that you would like. Not sure if this is new but they have boba tea, we ordered a thai tea with chewy boba for $7. The Thai tea itself tasted more like a powder mix and it did have a lot of ice in it. The boba itself was sweet, chewy and perfect! The space is cute with bright colors, staff was friendly and put our bowl together quickly. All and all a great spot if you're feeling like a poke bowl!
THIS is just what I needed today! Tuna, avacado, scallions, cilantro, furikake, and garlic crisps on a bed of totally fresh mixed greens. Loved that the avocado lime aioli was on the side. EVERYTHING was so fresh, so tasty! Thank you, Pacific Counter!

Some things that make them the best include their variety of fresh mix ins, proteins and sauces. I don't go to downtown St. Pete a lot but I was a few blocks away for work recently so I knew exactly where I was going for lunch. They have a couple suggested combinations but those are all large bowls with two proteins. The smaller bowl with one protein is big enough for me. The nice thing is that even if you have one protein, you can still choose two bases. I got the noodles and brown rice. The noodles are yumny and I love the texture of brown rice. I like the ring of fire bowl so for the smaller bowl I basically went with most of the same ingredients (spicy tuna, edamame, cucumbers, fire sauce, crunchy garlic) . I also added the radish sprouts because they are delicious and add a little bite. Also, because it was 420 they had a special CBD sauce the server also told me about so I tried that too (yum.) I got it my bowl to go and brought it back to the office. I've eaten here before and it is nice and clean. There is also outside seating. Other items on the menu are various tasty beverages, boba teas, and Dole whips! I recommend visiting these nice people because they do a great job!

Joe was a joy to come across. He was excellent at explaining how things work very sweet demeanor allowed me to try sauces never rushed me.. He deserves a raise!!! i hope he gets the praise from this review from management because this was the highlight of my day! read more

FB sent me a link for buy one bowl, get 1 half off so we finally tried their bowls. First of all, the person making our bowls was pretty clueless. They couldn't identify what anything was, and it was pretty annoying. I think these items need to be better labeled which they are not. They don't give you a lot of protein with these bowls and about 1/2 of the bowl is the base - lettuce, rice, or noodles or pick two and get half of each. You also pick one protein or two and get 1/2 as well. I picked tuna and salmon. In addition, I picked my toppings and I believe it was a lime aioli. I just didn't love this bowl and have definitely had better. I'd stick with the Dole Whip here. That's probably about it. Price even with buy 1, get 1 half off was about $25. I don't think it's worth it at all. read more

Yalllllll it's poké, boba, and I didn't try the soft serve ice cream but saw patrons walking out and it looked tasty as well~ I went with the lil 16 oz build a bowl and the crew member helped me out by sharing what was included and what would be extra, which I deeply appreciated. The crew itself is super friendly and they whipped up my blueberry boba ~unsweetened~ in no time - the boba itself was the best, not too soft and not too hard 10/10 for this Goldilocks haha but yes back to the bowl - you add your base of grains or noods or greens, protein, up to 3 mixins, and some toppings like sauces or garnishes. PC is the place to go for fast food that's healthy and fresh. Loved the salmon, musago, edamame, seaweed, pickled ginger, sesame seed combo I crafted! Yummo!! read more
Very good poke , great value , service , mix ins . Let's just describe the byo bowl it's 24 oz of food enough for any appetite. I typically get the classic sauce which is a spicy mayo and they have some great tunes playing at all times . Don't forget the nori and garlic crisp toppings :) I also highly recommend the musubi as the spam topping isn't too salty and goes well with the sushi rice . It's also freaking huge for 3$ better value then some other musubis I've had. read more

I've been coming here for years! Every time we visit St Pete during summer, this is our first stop. Food never dissapoints. However, I always see flies inside when we visit. It seems they've never been able to address it. read more
Delicious poke! I'd say this is my new favorite in the area. I like their portion sizes and loved that they offer to mix-in the sauce and toppings because I often find that it's hard to stir up poke bowls. Everything tasted great and fresh. I felt that there were more options here than other poke places, including a few fun salsas and salad options like the Hawaiian salsa that I got in mine. read more
I have had this place bookmarked since I have moved to the area, and I am so happy I finally got to try it. You order up at the counter, and it's a "chipotle" style ordering system. All the staff were friendly and happy to discuss the menu options/offer suggestions. The small poke bowl ($8) comes with a base, 1 protein, 3 mix-ins/toppings, and sauce. The big bowl or the burrito ($12) come with a base, 2 proteins, 5 mix-ins/toppings, and sauce. The big size bowl was just the right amount for 1 person, and I could see the small bowl being not enough food if you're really hungry. I ordered the spicy salmon and krab mixed with the chili aioli sauce. The fish was fresh, and the sauce was the perfect blend between creamy and spicy. All the toppings I tried were fresh and complemented the spicy fish so well. I also ordered a Hawaiian Sun drink, and it was so refreshing with the poke. Next time I will have to try their other specialty drinks! Highly recommend! read more
Loved that we were given the opportunity to try this food because it was very tasty! The staff were all incredibly friendly which definitely made it easier to decide what to order as the menu is a bit daunting with so many items on it. You can choose from so many different proteins, sauces and other toppings so there's something for everyone! Including me which is why I'm happy to give it five stars. The food is all fresh and delicious. We were also given a free dole whip which is similar to froyo which I'd definitely grab again (apparently they're free on Wednesdays with a purchase). Dairy free and gluten free froyo that's tasty? Why wouldn't you try it? read more

I used to love this place but when I went there yesterday for lunch, it went a little downhill. The staff is always friendly and welcoming so that didn't change but the portions and the value of the food was disappointing. For $16, my poke bowl was 70% rice and the toppings were definitely skimped out on. They used to give large slices of avocado and this time, I got a tiny scoop of it. Only 30% of my bowl was actual fish and toppings. It's definitely not worth coming here anymore for a meal. I can make rice at home for way cheaper. read more

My teenagers and husband eat here often. I have never been because I don't like seafood. I came across a ad on Facebook offering a BOGO on their bowls. I took the offer thinking my kids would go. However, my husband and I ended up here and I was happy to see they did have chicken on their menu. They offer poke bowls, burritos, hot dogs, dole whips, fresh juices, kombucha, beer, wine, and sake. And more! You can get a free Dole Whip with each bowl/roll every Wednesday. These are Vegan/Raw/Gluten Free I ordered a large bowl with mixed greens, chicken, cucumber, mushrooms, red onions, kimchi, and avocado. Plus a side sesame ginger dressing. They have several kinds of drinks available in the cooler behind the counter, next to the cash register. I choose the found teas. They have three flavors that are sweet and three that are unsweet. My favorite is the unsweet peach. We also picked up one of the Spam Musubi to try. I know it's a popular dish in Hawaii, but have never tried it: It was pretty good. Defiantly liked it better with a sauce. I used my sesame ginger sauce and loved it. We both enjoyed our bowls. It was really nice to get something that was healthy, fresh, and tasty! The service is quick. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. Dogs are outside...not sure about inside. Metered parking along the street. We purchased two large bowls, 2 diet cokes, 1 fountain drink, and one Spam Musubi. It came out to be a little over $38. With the BOGO coupon it was around $28. read more
Bowls or Rolls Love the variety of toppings. My go to is the masago ( I usually get double), avocado, mushrooms and cilantro. My favorite sauce to have is avocado lime. For the protein I typically get the krab. If you get a big bowl you can get 2 bases. I like the noodles and the brown rice. If you are hungry I recommend a side of the miso soup. Secret menu. Get the rose in a can and a cup of dole whip and mix it together. read more

Traveling to Tampa we were able to visit St pete and found this awesome spot! It's so modern and the options are superb! Make your own sushi bowl, such I burrito or even a fancied up hotdog! The options are so good I had a hard time choosing! The employees were so helpful and really made our choices way easier! read more

Pacific Counter is a quick and easy poke or sushi burrito place to get your seafood fix. They have some popular pre-made options or you can build your own. The interior is currently closed for indoor dining, but they do have outdoor seating available first come, first serve. I went with the 'build your own' bowl option and chose the larger option. I chose the half and half base with rice and noodles. You also get two instead of one protein and five toppings compared to three. One thing to note about the toppings is that even things like sesame seeds or furikake counts too compared to more substantial things such as kim chi or seaweed salad. Super friendly staff too! Very help and will help you in building your bowl or burrito if needed! read more
We moved to Florida from California and have been looking for our new poke place so we decided to check this place out and each built our own bowls. This was the second poke place we've been to since moving and it was far better than the first! They had a great selection of toppings and the fish was a decent portion and tasted fresh. My only complaint is I wish toppings were unlimited, at the very least let us choose more than one sauce. I also had a ginger lemonade and it was great, not too sweet or syrupy. We'll definitely be going back! read more

This restaurant is located on a very quaint St. Pete street with many cool shops and restaurants. We loved that they offered lychee drinks. Our servers were pleasant and attentive but very camera shy. My small build your own bowl contained sushi rice, ahi tuna, slaw, mangoes, and cucumber. I added some crunchy toppings and seeds. I chose the citrus soy sauce. It was yummy. My friend was not too happy with her Hawaiian dog. It wasn't hot and the bottom bun was soggy. Her miso soup was nothing to write home about. We split the dole whip for dessert. It was very tasty and sparked a conversation comparing it to the one at Disney. read more
