Ordered the rainbow bowl and Thai tea with boba. It's a great spot if you're looking for a quick stop in and go place. The poke was pretty good as well considering it's not a full sit down restaurant. Came on a Sunday and it wasn't busy but they had a good amount of seating. Was pretty excited to try this place after reading the reviews and seeing the price per bowl, but I think the positive reviews come from not having a lot of poke in the area to compare it to because this was not it. As for the price, it makes complete sense considering my bowl was basically half empty. But since I got the food delivered, the price ended up being more than a typical bowl. There was not enough of any ingredient in my bowl except for the rice, which is disappointing. I could not get over how disappointed I was in the "cucumber" I got. Why in the world did they give these tiny stringy pieces? It's an absolute joke. The seaweed salad was very slimy meaning it wasn't fresh and there was only a few pieces of tuna and salmon, both of which were very fatty. This place is a ripoff and they should honestly be embarrassed by what they served. The price after delivery is not even close to worth it. Poké Falls is the only poke place within five miles of me, so of course I'll be coming here frequently. But I probably could've had a better first impression. As someone that eats this kind of thing a lot, I know what I do & don't like. And while I appreciate advice and getting to know the employees, there was a lot of pressure to order things I didn't like. I said I didn't want salmon, spicy mayo, or carrots - but that's the kind of bowl I ended up with. I even said I'd rather not twice, but it fell on deaf ears. They also pressured me into changing my base from white rice to salad/brown rice. It was ok, but I'll probably do online orders in the future to get around the peer pressure. On the bright side, the prices are little lower than what I'm used to at about $13-$15 a bowl instead of $17-20. read more

My go-to lunch spot in north St. Pete. In a time of need like we are in, we need to give back to small businesses. This is one of them. The bowls are great, and the portions are big. I try and eat here once a week. The owner is the only worker and working his ass off to keep doors open. My wife and I had a real craving for a good Pokey bowl. We had seen this place several times but had never tried until yesterday. I'm glad we did. We ordered take out and I live just 8 minutes away. My order was waiting for me when I arrive. Plus # 1. Both of our pokey bowls were prepared nicely and filled with wonderful flavors. My wife had the Spicy Fish Classic pokey bowl on a bed of brown rice and I had the Rainbow Pokey bowl on a bed of noodles. Both were delicious filled with fresh fish and certainly a fairly large portion meals. Mine offered the most flavor and great texture due to the noodles. Plus # 2. We will be repeat customers and will certainly try many of their menu offerings. If you like pokey bowls I suggest you give them a try. read more

We headed over to get takeout the other night and were surprised to be the only ones around. They are tucked into the side alcove of the shopping center, and there was plenty of parking. The guy refilling the containers of food was helpful and friendly. I went for one of their signature bowls - #4 Tuna, Salmon, Shrimp Bowl ($12.95). The bowls come with Cucumber, Carrot, Edamame, Pineapple, Masago Egg, Avocado, Seaweed Salad, and Sesame Seeds. This bowl comes with Eel Sauce and Yummy Sauce. I ordered it the way it was listed, minus the Pineapple and with Brown Rice. There was a very generous portion of everything. I was especially surprised by the size and number of the Shrimp. All of the ingredients were fresh, and the Seaweed Salad had a lot of flavor. The only downfall was the packaging for takeout. I'm not sure how it is served if you dine in, but the three-compartment takeout container seemed to have the Salmon and Tuna in one small container with the sauces over them. That means that the rice, Shrimp, and all of the vegetables were a little lacking in flavor, even after dumping them out when we got home. My husband ordered the 3 Protein Bowl ($12.95). He ordered the Tofu and the Hibachi Chicken, and Hibachi Shrimp. He added a random selection of veggies and the Chili Sauce (spicy), and the Yummy Sauce and White Rice. Again, good size portions, everything was very fresh. The only downfall was that the Hibachi Chicken and Shrimp were a bit overcooked and dry. (we would have given them a fourth star of not for this). We also ordered 4 pieces of Mochi Ice Cream ($4.95). We tried the Green Tea and Mango, and both were flavorful and refreshing. Overall a very good experience, a few minor things- but we'll probably pop back in again in the future. read more

I ordered a delivery late last night. I built my own bowl with two proteins. I chose spicy tuna and salmon. The base I chose was noodles, which I didn't like. I'm used to different noodles. I then got to add crunchy and veggies. The variety was kind of small compared to what I'm used to but you can choose a good amount of things, which is more than I'm used to. I ordered crab salad, carrots, edamame, seaweed salad, wonton crisps, nori, sesame seed and pickled ginger. I requested the poke sauce I loved that it came in an environmentally friendly container. It was delivered to me really quick and it was fresh. And all in all was a good amount and quite tasty. I didn't like that the sauce was put on everything, I would have loved to get it on the side, especially for a delivery. Something in the combo that I ordered was not to my liking so I'm not sure exactly why but I suspect it's the combo of the sauce and noodles as well as the fish.
