During this initial consultation, I spoke directly with Brandon "Ray," who, after thoroughly verifying my vehicle's VIN, confirmed the recall's validity. Crucially, he explicitly informed me that the necessary replacement part needed to be ordered and that the entire service would be covered under warranty, incurring absolutely no cost to me. Relying on this clear assurance, I left with the understanding that the repair would proceed free of charge. This initial consultation alone required me to adjust my work schedule and take time off. I received a call from Ray, confirming the arrival of the required part. We then scheduled a dedicated appointment for me to bring in my vehicle for the repair. Once again, I made the necessary arrangements, including taking a second day off from work, to ensure I could facilitate the vehicle drop-off for the scheduled service. However, upon my arrival for the scheduled appointment and drop-off, I was directed to a different service representative. To my considerable surprise and dismay, this new representative informed me that the headlight recall repair would incur a charge. This sudden and unexpected introduction of a cost directly contradicts the unequivocal assurance I received from Brandon "Ray" during my initial visit, where it was explicitly stated that the recall service would be performed under warranty and without charge. The conflicting information regarding the service cost, especially after making significant personal arrangements based on Brandon "Ray's" word, is not only deeply confusing but also exceptionally frustrating. The inconvenience of taking two separate days off from work - first for a consultation and then for the scheduled repair - has been substantial and entirely wasted due to this inconsistency. Brandon "Ray" made a commitment & now it's not being honored. I believe it is reasonable to expect consistent and accurate information from Honda, especially concerning safety recalls. Be careful taking your vehicle here.

I want to warn anyone considering doing business with this dealership to be very cautious. If you…read moremake a deal, get everything in writing and make sure a manager signs it. We were in the process of buying a truck from them. On Friday night, we negotiated a price and came to an agreement. I told them I would discuss it with my husband and let them know the next day. After talking it over, we agreed to purchase the truck and informed them that we would be there Sunday morning to complete the sale. The salesman, Jordan, was very kind and helpful throughout the process. He responded, "Okay, I'll be there after 10. Let's do this." When we arrived Sunday morning, Jordan had to come out and explain that management had added $2,000 to the price we had agreed on. For reference, this truck had been sitting on their lot for over 300 days. I have never experienced anything like this. When I called the manager, he told me they did not have to contact customers if they decided to change a price. I asked if that applied even after a deal had been made, and he said the agreement was only good for Friday. I then asked why that had never been explained to us as potential buyers. His response was essentially that he could do what he wanted. I was extremely upset and did call him a name, which I later apologized for. I felt like we were being treated as fools after making plans to come in and purchase the truck. The manager also claimed that I never contacted them after leaving Friday night and said the salesman was surprised to see us. However, I have text messages from Jordan saying he was looking forward to seeing us Sunday morning. After reading other reviews, I noticed that similar situations have happened to other customers as well. I will never do business with this dealership. I'm sharing my experience simply to warn others so they can protect themselves and avoid a similar situation.

So on a whim, besides my local Mercedes dealer, I also checked pricing at Mercedes of Medford. Even with 800 miles of diesel fuel to get there and back, I literally saved well over a thousand dollars by having this major service step done in Oregon while visiting my family. (And no sales tax on the tires and all the parts I replaced!) As a retired industrial service business owner I was quite pleased with my telephone and subsequent in-person interaction with both Service Adviser Dan and Parts Desk Agent Brandon. They were able to accomodate my requests regarding the scheduling of my visit so that all parts required were in stock the morning of my arrival and the extensive service work was accomplished in one day. I would also like to acknowledge the efforts of Service Technician Justin and the time he spent with me providing recommendations and suggestions for the longevity of my Sprinter. (This was also my first exposure to the text and video summary of an initial service evaluation. It was very impressive.) At the end of the day I wanted to acknowledge the efforts of the above mentioned staff to Hugo, the Service Manager. Near 6pm in the evening, I found him sweeping out the service bay. Great management never shies away from doing the most mundane work if everyone else is busy and that's what needs to be done. That's leading by example. I can see why my experience with the Mercedes of Medford Service Department was so outstanding!

After loan approval, it took 14 days to schedule the notary public signing. Several days for them to receive back the paperwork. Then another 14 days to schedule delivery of the vehicle. Another 7-8 days for it to arrive. Once arrived a third party company that holds the title for the finance company, sent a message saying they would take care of getting the vehicle registered. I was not informed by the dealership of this process. I called the licensing company to ask a question on the same day that they reached out. Their representative did not reply for another three weeks. On November 3rd the Oregon temporary tags expired, so I was able to get a 30 day moving permit from the Nevada DMV. That temp permit expired on December 3rd. Then after submitting the requested documents, they submitted my document packet to the Nevada DMV. It has taken another 8 weeks for the DMV to issue registration and license plates on December 30, 2025. But the third party company had the registration package sent to the dealership in Oregon "at the request of the dealership". So as of today the vehicle still does not have license plates. In the mean time the vehicle was issued a citation of $75 for not having up to date registration. Because the vehicle is title under my company name, I had to get commercial insurance before applying for registration, which costs more than $400 per month. So the vehicle has been sitting idle in front of my house for the last two months, while I'm out of $800 in insurance costs, and two monthly loan payments amounting to nearly $2k. I bought the cargo van to use for last mile delivery in Las Vegas metro, but in order to register with services like Amazon Flex, or rent it out on Turo Adventures it needs to be legally registered. At each step in the process I had to continuously prod the dealership sales person for updates. Many times the call had to be elevated to management. Most replies the sales contact would just pass it on to another name within Medford Mercedes. He would not spend an ounce of energy trying to reply the proper information, but would defer the question to someone else. Each time he deferred, it would take 24-48 hours for a response. One of many examples was when after taking possession of the vehicle there is supposed to be a release of the MBUX software from the previous owner to allow the current owner to connect my phone app that controls and communicates with the vehicle's infotainment system. I had to go to the Mercedes manufacturer's contact and the dealership management to get it connected. Both parties pointed to the sales contact, in which he had no idea how to get it connected and once again referred the question to another person within the Medford MB dealership. The latest incident in which the licensing company had the plates sent to the dealership rather than the current owner, I reached out to the same sales rep, and he immediately would not answer the question, but referred it to someone else, in which I will not hear from until at least next Monday, January 5, 2025. I can not recommend doing business with this dealership. They either just don't care, or there not getting paid enough to motivate them to communicate with their customers.
