Then, the car wasn't on the lot as I had an appointment to test drive it, excuses were made that one of the workers was using it! She could have used another lot car knowing I had an appointment to drive it. She loves it to much, sounds like they won't let it go! Then remove it from being available on your website. This place is a total RIP OFF. I brought my 2017 Electric Drive Smart Car fourtwo because it said it needed annual maintenance. After 2 hours and several calls asking how much they were going to charge with no response, I went to pay and the total charge was $378.74. The only thing they replaced was the "dessicant air drier" which they charged $150 for. They charged $179.50 for the maintenance. This is the very first time, I've left a review let alone a bad one. What a disappointment. I wanted great service for my older Volvo and thought these guys were the ones but I was wrong. I went in with a specific issue: my care wasn't always starting and winter was coming. I brought it in and said please address that issue and make sure my care is in good running condition. Then shortly after over $3, 000 to get my Volvo in good running condition, one morning my car wouldn't start, so the issue wasn't solved. I had to get it towed back to their shop and after all that they still charged me more to fix the same issue. I didn't have it in me to fight it, I just wanted it fixed! There was not much remorse or courtesy. When I went to pick it up the second time, i was told it was "lunch time" and told to come back. Lol. Like I'm doing them a favor. I said to myself that "these guys don't care about me as a customer", They don't care about my satisfaction - they just want my money. So, instead of writing a bad review I let it go. Well, the issue was never fixed, after all that -it's still an issue after I paid them $3,500 to take care of it, they still didn't or couldn't - I'm mean how complicated can it be? If I went back, they'd shrug their shoulders and expect me to pay more. I've had some incredible mechanics in my time and these guys are not all they're cracked up to be. I think in a small town and being one of the only shops claiming they specialize in foreign autos they can get away with poor service. I do not recommend Henry's Foreign Auto Service unless you have money to burn. In this economy, I'd find a fair and decent shop, they're out there. read more

This is a family run business and I believe the only certified range rover shop between Portland and Sacramento though they fix all sorts of foreign cars. Grazyna is an excellent mechanic and gave me accurate and fair estimates. All the work was done very thoroughly and in great time. The fuel pump in my range rover gave out as I was driving down the I-5 and Grazyna and his family saved the day including giving me rides back and forth from the shop to the Econolodge I found myself in for 2 days. I live in San Francisco and truly wish this shop was there. There professionalism and workmanship far exceeds that of the dealership I have to go to in San Francisco for maintenance. read more

I had a breakdown on the freeway in my Range Rover on the way to Sacramento and I called Henrys and his son Luke answered. I described the problem and he put me in touch with someone right off the freeway. OB's auto service checked out my car and called Henrys with their thoughts about the problems. OB's arranged for a tow and I rode back to Henry's in the tow truck. They had my car fixed by the next day and were very diligent in making sure I understood the costs and even suggested a place to rent a loaner car. Henrys sister gave me a ride to and from the business (13 miles each way). I have had no trouble with the car since! Recently I had my Range Rover's sunroof lock open and when I drove in at 5:20 (they close at 5:30), Henry fixed it and charged me ZERO. Love you guys! You're the best! read more

Just being around and watching the father and son do business is making me very trustworthy of this business. They put up with my questions about cars and always answer I believe very truthfully? I came from California to buy a 2002 Volvo XC that Lukazsc had fixed up. I've had it for a few thousand miles now and it is the best car I've ever had. On arriving with a broken down car, the team were very friendly and agreed to fix my vehicle even with the short notice. From what I can tell leaving the shop, the repairs are sufficient. The reason for my two star review is because when I questioned the overpricing of some parts vs. market value, they were immediately defensive and unwilling to discuss. When I showed proof of pricing at way below what they charged for parts (despite their hourly labor being comparable with LA) they actually admitted to charging several times the cost price of the item, and saying I should have haggled at the quote. Short advice is if you absolutely need repairs bring it here, but request part quotes, do your own research and query the price before accepting. Or you'll get insulted as you left like I was with "perhaps it's because you're foreign you don't like price" (coming from a foreigner himself) and "you can't afford to drive that car" because I don't like being overcharged. UPDATE: We got 280 miles further down the street and THE SAME PROBLEM reoccurred and we broke down again. I'm sure that what was fixed needed maintenance but what's for sure is they did not fix what I brought the car in for. I have downgraded my rating to 1 star for this. read more

Great responsive service. My Audi TT Check Warning light was flashing, and my car was misfiring with very little power. They diagnosed and repaired the problem quickly and efficiently. Given I was enroute from Vancouver BC to San Francisco I wasn't looking forward to waiting days to get my car repaired. But they were able to take me in immediately and I was back on the road in less than 2 hours. Highly recommended! read more

So I was recommended to go here and I can tell you DO NOT GO HERE they ran diagnostics on my car which I willingly paid for. The windshield wipers weren't working, They assumed it was my switch when I had told them it was the wiring or something and there must be a short somewhere. They told me no it was the switch so I said ok, not being a car woman myself they told me they'd order the part and I agreed. Come to find out the first time they ordered the wrong part. Ok... that's a mistake like it's fine no big deal. The second time I brought my car in at 8am 3 hours later they called me and told me they ordered the wrong part again and for the next switch they quoted me 100 dollars more and that was crazy. But I accepted because I have 2 kids I need my windshield wipers it's a safety issue. Today I am here sitting for 4 hours nothing done but all of a sudden that's not what I need and it'll be 600 more dollars for a new computer because my computer doesn't hook up to theirs.. I don't think so! Then he gets defensive after I get mad and confused like no...I need my windshield wipers fixed I've accumulatively had my car here 10 hours total He told me it was my stereo I have in my car? What does a stereo have to do with my wipers?? Then he tried to charge me for another 120 dollars for more diagnostics after I told him I'm done and getting out of here, which I flat out refused to pay. ( he decided that he wouldn't make me.) I told them They should have checked everything out with the first diagnostics. He blamed me and told me to go to an Audi dealership.. he also told me not to come back with my kids, and to not have an Audi if I can't afford the maintenance..don't worry I won't be back ever!! I've come to terms I'll be taking my business elsewhere. They don't know what they're doing.. and the prices are outrageous.and will be posting this everywhere. They also left wires sticking out of the bottom of my dashboard!! ( update)I really contemplated posting this because normally I'm not an angry person,but this was just so crazy,I went to Volkswagen it was 200 dollars cheaper to fix my windshield wipers and it was done in one day!! They also threw in a oil change.Also the quote here at Henrys was 1400 plus for my seeping oil and there it's 300... That's an ENORMOUS difference and it's Lithia. I would give no stars read more

Henry's Automotive came to our rescue while traveling from Napa, CA to Washington State. My Land Rover broke down at a rest stop and had to be towed to Henry's. Their family run business treated us with special care and expedited our car repair because we were traveling through the area. Their work was superior, timely and professional in every way. Beyond that, their family made a special effort to take us to a hotel, bring all of our luggage to us and pick us up the next morning. The repair was done quickly and within the time frame expected. Their warmth and friendliness allowed us to trust that we were in good hands and transformed a disaster into a unique side adventure where we got to meet lovely people. I cannot say enough great things about Henry's staff and service. I purchased a 1993 Mercedes 300 diesel from them and have it serviced as needed and I will not go anywhere else!!! I drive all the way up from Mt Shasta and it is totally worth it. They are the most professional, courteous and fair foreign car dealer/service I have ever dealt with. They get you in quick for a service appointment and always have the parts needed, (other places do the old "well, we'll need to order that part") I used to own a Saab and I had a terrible time finding a good, experienced and honest mechanic to work on it, (in Northern CA as well as Southern OR). Henry's was recommended and I'm glad I got the tip. I highly recommend Henry's to service your foreign ride, or even if you want to buy one from them, (they always have a beautiful line up of cars) I have also found they are less expensive, more efficient, trustworthy and friendlier than if you go to a factory dealer. Took my "07 Jaguar in for repair of right brake light. Was told that an aux. fuse box would be required and wanted to charge $954 to repair including $839 for the part and wanted an $800 deposit to even schedule the work. I checked parts prices and could purchase one for less myself. They refused to allow me to supply my own parts. I took the car to another shop who discovered that the problem was merely moisture in a connector in the fuse box, blew out the moisture and problem solved. Henry's charged me $176.81 to misdiagnose the problem. I won't be back. read more

I need to warn others to stay away from Henry's Auto Service and Salvac the owner / manager. I have a 2003 Mercedes which they had serviced for two years when I moved here from CA. Over the course of two years, I spent +/- $4000 on repairs with their shop. When I moved to town I had them work on the emergency brake. When one pulled the emergency brake release, it stayed "stuck out". The only two times I used the emergency brake over the next two years, it again stayed "stuck out." The first time I brought it back to the shop they worked on it and said it was repaired and did not charge me. The second time it failed they again said they got it working, and were not going to charge me, but to ensure that it was really fixed they recommended $450 of repairs ($150 parts and $300) labor. I previously paid nearly this amount the first time they "fixed" the e-brake. I told Salvac I was happy to pay for the parts, but they need to pick up the labor charge since I already paid for the brake to be repaired once. Salvac refused. Seemed like a very strange and poor choice. If they took care of this issue, of course, I would have continued to be their customer. I do recommend Aaron's Auto in Phoenix and John's Auto in Medford. Both work on high end imports. read more

I was a repeat customer at Henry's Foreign Auto. That was until my last experience at the shop. I brought my vehicle in for a few items to be looked at. One of the items was a "beep" on my Range Rover when I would put it into reverse. This "beep" was never there before I took it to Henry's Foreign Auto, and apparently, when asked to remove the "beep", Slavek the shop owner said that they could not remove it. Which seemed odd to me because it was never there before. When I took it back in recently and asked Slavek to try to remove the beep again, he said he would try. I later get a phone call with Slavek telling me not only could he not remove the beep, another beep mysteriously appeared and he could not get rid of that either. To make a long story short, after a 15 minute argument between myself and Slavek with me stating that my car did not enter the shop that day with a second beep and it should not leave that way, I was told there was nothing he could do and that my car has a mind of its own. So I find it very unprofessional for someone to tell me that my car just did something on its own and that there was nothing the shop could do without spending a few hours on it. Well, my thought is, if my car enters the shop in a certain condition, then I would surely like to have it leave the shop in the same if not better condition. Slavek told me he would call me the following week to follow up and when he didn't, I tried to tried to call him at the shop, left a message and of coure, never got a return phone call. I will never take my Range Rover to that shop again. I would rather drive the 4 hours to Portland or 3 hours to Bend to have it looked at by Land Rover of Portland or PDX Rovers of Bend and Portland. Or if I do need to take it somewhere locally, then I will take it to Specialized Automotive in Medford who has done great work on my Range Rover. It's unfortunate that the shop owner of Henry's foreign automotive did not care about my concerns. The technician there was trying to find a solution for me, but Slavek shot him down telling him it would take away to many hours of his time to work on it..what a joke.. read more
