This company supplies bundles of wood to Sunset beach. I've been camping there for over 30 years. I camped there last week...oct 18th 20, for five days. We bought over 100 dollars of wood. Our concern was the black thick smoke created by the wood. The wood burned extremely fast while emitting this thick black stinky smoke. This was a high indicator of the wood being soaked in an excelerant. This is extremely dangerous n ot only for the environment but for people using and burning this wood. I'm posting this to let consumers know of this company abuse of selling wood to you. I'm also contacting other agencies to look into this company! Any suggests?

Very helpful staff. This is the best place in town to buy firewood hands down! Their pricing is reasonable and I would recommend!

My mom has been coming to this place for years, and for good reason! The space is huge, and they have a ton of options! Everything from plants, to fruits and veggies, to water features, sculptures, and more! There is a wonderful gift shop with anything you could want for your garden to help plants grow or keep animals away. They have all kinds of fun gifts and trinkets for the garden and around the house! I wrote a nice review about this place after the first time I went several years ago, but it undoubtedly deserves an update. I have been several times since my first visit, and love it every time! The owner, Gustavo, is a true gem. He is friendly, knowledgeable, hardworking, and an overall joy to interact with. He greets everyone with a huge smile, and is always happy to answer questions and help. He works seven days a week most weeks, and is truly passionate about what he does. This past weekend, they hosted their 17th Annual Christmas Open House. This event features live music, local wine, hot chocolate and cider, and homemade pastries by Gustavo's wife herself! They transform the gift shop into a winter wonderland, featuring around a dozen decorated Christmas trees among other festive decorations! People are encouraged to bring pastries to share, and they definitely did! There was a huge table with cookies, cakes, pies, and more! They also help collect donations for the local food bank by offering a discount on your purchase if you bring a bag of canned or non-perishables. We attended this event on Friday the 6th, and it was a lovely experience! The vibes were amazing, sipping wine and cider listening to live music by some fire pits. This was my first year attending the Christmas Open House, but it will not be the last! Thank you again to Gustavo and all of the hardworking staff at Alladin! IG: @bbnem.eats

I have 2 kids and they love going because they have a cute little play house for kids! And always offer them a little fruit snack pack which I love! Some of their plants can be a bit pricey. I was searching for a snake plant and a small one was about $50+. I went to Home Depot and they had huge ones for $25. So I guess it depends on what type of plant you're looking for. But this place is definitely cute and my go to for succulents!

I researched a bunch of different tree…read morefarms in the Santa Cruz Mountains and it seemed that they all had a similar price range within $5-$10 of each other. I opted for Summit since I knew exactly where it was and that they'd have a pretty large selection. It was a set price of $80 per tree (2025), no matter if you got a 4 ft tree or 12 ft tree. They had a ton of trees to choose from, we parked shortly after the road turned and when we were leaving we realized just how how expansive the property was and how much more there was to explore. Just in the area we were in you could find trees of all sizes, small, tall, plump, and on the thinner side (this was the hardest to find). There's a small snack shack here but you can also bring your own food and tailgate before or after the hunt. We spent about 20 minutes saying this is the tree while then finding another one a few minutes later. They provided a saw and we brought our own measuring tape to make sure it would fit in our designated space. Once you get your tree you drive back to the front to pay, we ended up putting the tree inside my car, so I'm not sure if they'll help you secure it to the roof before you go, but you are responsible for doing it yourself as you make your journey back to the front. They sold stands at the front, I believe they were $20. When I got a real tree growing up, it was always from a lot so they would secure the stand and put the tree through a shaker for you. That wasn't the case here, so we did find a lot of small spiders after getting it home, and we also had our tree fall over after decorating it because we didn't get the straightest cut on the bottom and the trunk was a little oddly shaped for the stand.

They were not cheap, but not the most expensive place either- but not major storefront price. However- they had Huge and aesthetically Perfect cut trees. If you have a large room, high ceiling, need a perfect one for a party- this is the place. Ours was so fluffy and perfect, we put it in the center of the room so we could enjoy it from all directions. The men working the lot were polite and helpful, as I came with my kids and didn't have all the gear I usually do for a cut down place. This was a actual lot, parking was easy, and prices were about a match for inflation and quality . Ours still is soft and green. Our costco one, which was cute, cost effective but more small (2.5-3ft smaller) and imperfect- is way dry comparatively. Customer service was great, but honestly the lady, maybe the daughter, could have been more friendly verses the guys working the lot when she rang up customers. However, maybe it's a stressful job? I tipped the dudes working, in their hands, that helped me. for cut down experiences I recommend: Wards Xmas trees in Boney Dunes is still a perfect place to get the best cut down, followed by Frosty's in SC/Boulder area. Battaglia in San Martin better than Costco's.
