I ordered 2 cords of oak/madrone from Jeff. He scheduled delivery at 9 and was on time. He gave option to have cords delivered on same day or separately (probably to give buyer time to stack wood if space was a issue). We have space so opted to have both cords delivered on same day. The wood is all good quality oak/madrone sized for wood stove. No funky wood in the pile. Jeff is nice, reliable and has good quality firewood at a fair price. I recommend giving him a call for your firewood needs. I'm happy to be ready for another winter of power outages. read more

I will begin by saying I do not like to leave negative reviews. I would much rather call out those businesses who've earned my respect with their service and quality. Unfortunately, that is not the case here. I thought long and hard before posting this review. I stepped back for about a month before posting it. I contacted Jeff requesting a delivery of hard wood. He returned my call timely and said he could provide it and it would consist of madrone & oak. Now, I may have irritated him because I asked if I could call him back right away with whether we would get a full or half cord. After almost a week I was able to reach him and verify that we wanted a cord of hard wood. He told me he had the truck loaded with a cord of hard wood. He delivered it the same day. As we began to stack the wood, it became increasingly clear that while there was some good quality oak and madrone in it, there was a significant amount of fir as well as a significant amount of rotting oak and madrone. Along with a lot of cut small limbs and pieces and we didn't ask for kindling. If we had, I would not have expected the amount of chunky little pieces we received. Normally when I burn wood I can step outside and it smells nice. This wood has the stench of rotting wood. I called Jeff and left a message letting him know how disappointed we were and that in no way was this wood worth $545.00 (with delivery) and that he had our phone number if he wanted to make it right. No response. I did see our check cashed. Lesson learned. I'm surprised at the 5 star reviews I read but in retrospect, the most recent one was in 2021. read more

Natural Heat were responsive, and delivered a full cord of high quality cut pieces of firewood on time to my house. I paid by check, and the whole process was very easy. I highly recommend them and will use their service again. read more

No drama firewood delivery. Jeff Amen showed up with a truck stacked neatly with the amount of wood I ordered, dumped it where I wanted it, and was polite and tidy. I'd definitely order firewood from him again. The only con is that the wood is a little expensive ($400/cord for seasoned, split oak), but given how easy the transaction was, I think it's worth it. MUCH easier and faster than cutting and splitting my own oak, which I didn't have time for this year. read more

Great aged hard wood, delivered right on time and a nice full cord!

If there were a category of "Firewood Artist" I would award it to the guy at Natural Heat. The wood is very well seasoned, CLEAN (no mud, crud, or insect colonies), cut to a consistent 16" (no oversized pieces that don't fit my wood stove). He provides a combination of oak and madrone, and enough skinny pieces that I always have enough starter wood. The wood burns completely down to ash and provides very good heat. And he doesn't short you - if you order a cord you'll get a FULL cord. Showed up when he said he would, was quick, efficient, and respectful. As a woman, I especially appreciate his integrity that does not seem to be gender-specific. He's a little more expensive than some, but after 6 years of getting my wood from a number of sources--some of which turned out to be less than reliable or even downright dishonest, I am sold. All around, a great experience. I just placed a second order from him and will continue to exclusively use Natural Heat in the future. Highly recommend! read more

My wife and I ordered firewood and Jeff came and delivered the wood at the time he said he will deliver the wood. Very pleased with Natural heat and we will always use them for firewood. Prices are reasonable. read more

Have used natural heat a few times this winter. excellent customer service and the wood is exceptional and a free delivery and there is always some kindling pieces on the top of the load. Used cozy wood because natural heat was out of wood. I will never recommend or use them. the wood was all wet. read more

What a joke. Called to order 2 cords of firewood delivered to Boulder Creek and was told he won't deliver there. Really it's like 3-4 miles up the road. Makes me wounder what their delivery area really is. After all the good reviews I was expecting a little better experience. read more
