Outstanding Craftsmanship & Customer Service…read more I can't say enough great things about David and the entire team at Kodiak Construction. They came out to do exposed aggregate concrete work at my home, and somehow managed to match my existing 20-year-old concrete almost perfectly. The finished work blends in beautifully, which I honestly didn't think would be possible given the age of the original concrete. What impressed me even more was their commitment to making sure I was completely satisfied. After part of the work had already been completed, I requested a change. Even though it meant additional work, David was incredibly accommodating. He came back, tore out a portion of the newly poured concrete and redid it for me -- at no additional charge. That level of customer service and commitment to making a customer happy is extremely rare these days. David was an absolute pleasure to work with from beginning to end. The entire crew was professional, courteous, hardworking, and extremely respectful of my home and property. Their attention to detail and quality of craftsmanship really showed in the finished product. I am genuinely grateful for the way David and his team handled the entire project. Excellent craftsmanship, exceptional customer service, and people who truly stand behind their work. I would recommend Kodiak Construction without hesitation. Thank you, David and team, for going above and beyond!

Thanks to David for a positive contractor experience! :)…read more He made sure we got the look we wanted for our new staircase and pathway, even making and dropping off samples to test out the colors and seals. It looks great, and his team were professional and friendly. Everything was on time and early. The work and materials are high quality to last a long time, worth the value. They didn't try to cut corners. He gave me instructions to water the concrete to prevent cracks and included a stabilizer, which is something previous contractors did not do (one of our other concrete pads cracked all over pretty soon after). We used a Sierra base color with a Desert Tan release color and a sealer that gave it the brown / tan finish I was looking for. I will definitely be using their services again!

We had a great experience NAB Construction! Our pickleball court had broken concrete on one end,…read moreand was too short on the other. NAB removed all the bad concrete and replaced it with pavers, and on the other side of the court, they added 5 feet of concrete where we had lawn, as well as adding to our existing retaining wall. After the pavers were installed, I noticed something not to my preference with the paver layout. I contacted Nick, our site manager from NAB, and he was very responsive, and arranged for Nate (the company president) to come out right away and discuss the matter, which was resolved that same day to my complete satisfaction. Nick also was happy to arrange for a few other small tasks related to bricks and concrete on our property to be taken care of, and they were - at no added cost. NAB construction was not the lowest bid we got for this work, but I have learned the hard way that going with the lowest price is not always a great idea, and I am glad I went with NAB for this project. I'm very satisfied with the results of this project, and would not hesitate to recommend NAB construction to others.

We wanted a walkway installed so we went back but this time we dealt with someone by the name of Nick Vard. He was very unprofessional and used the terms "outside the scope of work" and asked us to make a "commitment" several times. I went to Brickyard on a Saturday at 8AM per the direction of Nick but when I called him about our selection he never called me back. He blamed us and said they lost money on the job because it took longer than expected. He tried to convince me to use a brick I did not like. And the biggest disappointment was the drainage that they left unfinished. We spent almost $10k but we feel like the job is incomplete. Wish we could recommend them but if they continue working with Nick Vard you should stay away.

This was done in 2014 and I thought his price was really reasonable. I get a lot of comments on it. He had to build a bare bones brick fireplace to support the new product to overlay it with the stacked sandstone; and the arch just really makes it unique. He also had the foresight to ask me if I wanted him to cut into the underneath of the hearth to slip hard wood in the future when replacing my carpet. He mentioned that he had a piece of reclaimed wood, to use for the mantel, 2 1/2 in. thick. Today I found out how special it is because this wood thickness does not exist. These days, wood mantels are made into a box from different pieces and flipped over to attach on a fireplace. Thanks Jay; and I still love my fireplace after 11 years (and no cracks with all the earthquakes we are experiencing these days.)

The job, which entailed removing the original (lava rock.. yuck) fireplace, dry wall repair, and building out a new floor to ceiling stacked stone fireplace took 6 days, and since I work from home, I got to watch a true Master Mason at work. Jay, with his many years of experience, helped us to through the entire process, soup to nuts, so we could make informed decisions about what we wanted, and then he went about his business quickly and efficiently. I was really shocked at the speed of transformation. From 1975 to 2018 in 6 days! It was amazing to watch. Replacing a fireplace is inherently a messy business, and I was very impressed at the care Jay took to section off the work area, cover the floor and furniture, and make sure that everything was protected. When he was done, he took his time making sure to thoroughly clear the area, so we had only minimal cleanup. I found Jay to be exceptionally respectful of the space, which I really appreciated. Our experience with Browning Masonry was resoundingly positive. It's a small business that can really offer a personalized experience, and I cannot say enough about the beautiful result. I used to not really utilize our family room.. now, I enjoy my morning coffee by the fireplace every morning. I'm definitely one who can appreciate a true trade specialist, and that is exactly what you are getting with Browning Masonry.
