A terrific experience from initial text communications to appointment confirmation to in-person interactions and work completed. I sent Gerardo multiple photos with the explanation to get an accurate quote which remained the same once on-site. We had two 2nd-story windows in our condo that failed a water test by our HOA contractor. I had a good feeling early on in my interactions with Gerardo and they proved to be right-on. I would find out later that he has over 23 years' experience in this field. He and his associate were very professional and efficient. He offered to wear booties, but I vetoed it since they would be continuously going from our outdoor patio at the ground floor to our 2nd floor balcony in order to get the job done on the two windows. We have old skool faux wood laminate so I knew it would be a quick mop job for myself after their departure. He examined everything on-site and explained what they would be doing and products used. Once completed he further explained what else they did to ensure a tight seal. He even pointed out a nail hole in our gutter that he felt warranted further examination by our HOA contractor. Gerardo replaced a massive (5ft x 10 ft) picture window in my home. The original dual glazed window had degrading of the interior reflective finish that made it start to cloud. It is now 8 years later and I've had no difficulties with the one Pacific glass installed. They replaced all the molding and wooden trim and did outstanding work at a very reasonable price! The Pull Tabs - First let me start by stating the good stuff. PGS was quick to finish my screens. The guys were nice. The screen is good quality and you have choices. The not good - I took every screen in my house to be rescreened - most of them are big. They all had the pull tabs - every one of them. When I picked up my screens, I hadn't noticed the new tabs at all. Until now...It's time to wash screens and windows. Four of the 8 screens now have the pull tabs in the wrong location. This is important because my screens fit in the frame with tension. Now I have to very carefully try to pry each screen out and while it sounds easy, it's not. Screens bend easily and this just makes it harder. I wish that I could have waited through the backlog at Denaults because this has never happened there. While PGS will offer a small discount for many screens, this is by no means inexpensive. My suggestion is to mark the tab area with blue painters tape and that should solve any question about tab location. Good luck! read more

Sal replaced glass in my existing (cracked) window. Fast, professional and quality work.

I was recommended by my realtor, and contacted them right away. I needed tint removed from the sliding glass door and a few windows. I had began and realized that the project was a little more than I could do on my own. They sent a person, who within the first 5 minutes told me that the tint was installed at the factory and he would not be able to remove. He quoted me for a new sounding glass door. He then moved on to one window and told me he completed to the best of his ability. He only removed one layer of the tint and charged me $100 dollars. He did not remove the base layer of the tint, but passed it off as completed. Then this employee removed the window to get the screen out, which also need a repair. The clip for the balance to stay into place had broken and he had trouble getting the window back in and before I knew it he cut the balance. This required me to purchase a whole new balance. When I contacted, I was told they would speak to employee and get back to me. They never responded. Charged $100 dollars for 1 hour of half-ass work. 50 for screen- done quickly and we'll Cost 20 dollars for new balance, and 10 for new balance shoe kit. read more

Well I was referred to this company as a glass in my backyard was chattered. I texted them, they responded immediately and the next day they cleaned up the class and ordered a replacement, I was thrilled. I was told it would be in either on Friday or Monday of the following week. While it took longer than I thought (it was replaced the following Friday) and the communication was not ideal, when the job was done, it was worth the wait. My only feedback would be to give realistic time frame so me as the customer have realistic expectations. read more

I called this local company first to get pricing and he's pretty competitive with only one other location that was same price but, a little bit further to my location. I decided to order from them and all was good until pick up time. I checked visually and touched all corners and only one corner of concern was mentioned to the one person working at the time, Sal, who said he would make sure to check it upon loading it into our truck. Well, he didn't and honestly, I believe he was trying to avoid it! I found it odd that the only sharp corner in question was positioned upright close to the floor and facing a tight spot in the office with screen and things around my glass made it difficult to inspect even bending down on my knees and using my cell phone flashlight to see why it was sharp! When my husband arrived with his truck, I had forgotten to remind Sal as my husband and I were focused on getting it safely loaded with four moving blankets we brought to use. Upon arriving to our home which is 5 minutes away from the glass shop, we both noticed a chip and mentioned it to owner, Gerardo, who blamed us for the chip and said it's due to our transportation or the glass was bumped while loading it into the truck, etc. I explained that Sal was to check the corner in question which he said he would do and I continued to explain why would we break our new glass? I believe owner didn't want to take responsibility of the damage before we arrived and hoped we wouldn't notice and then, blame us for the chip! Also, why would Sal want to remind himself to check that corner because he and maybe, even Gerardo might of known the chip they did that's why that corner was hidden the way it was when I tried to inspect visually and couldn't! They tried to hide the chip from us! I was told Gerardo will refund me something as a first time customer and he asked for my address to mail me a check and it's been over two weeks since his promise and nothing came in. Due to dishonesty, I don't recommend this store nor will I return for future business. read more
