Arriving around noonish I expected a long wait to order stain. I was met, at the paint area, by a very friendly and competent woman. Since I was matching the color that my neighbor used she quickly located the correct stain and provided guidance regarding how much stain I needed. She also opened one of the cans to ensure that it was the right color (the had to add tint). Less than 15 minutes later I was checking out and on my way to lunch. Even though Lowes is closer to my home driving to this HD is AOK as H Mart and their food court is right next door.

The guy working the counter said the turnaround time was 1 week but could take 2 weeks. I called them today to check on the status of the drill and the guy who took my phone call was incredibly rude. He asked for my ticket number and I told him unfortunately I didn't have it with me. His reply was an audible sigh. After searching for my info he said that warranty work hadn't been started yet. So I asked if he could provide me an ETA for the repair and he replied "what does it matter, it's free to you". This guy apparently doesn't realize that these tools are how people make their money. If I need any tools or repair work in the future I will go somewhere else.

Found Moore Supply recently for the parts to replace a damaged pipe and old pressure relief valve. Called from another shop down the street that was dong their very best to overcharge me for some basic parts necessary for the repairs. I spoke with Ryan at Moore Supply and asked if they might be able to help me figure out the best replacement parts for a 25 year old damaged pipe and worn out pressure relief valve. He suggested I come in and bring the part. As he hung up, I was walking through the front door. Busy day for them so I waited until it was my turn and laid out the parts and project on the counter. Ryan took one look at them and knew exactly what to do. He came back out with the pressure relief valve, ball joint needed and suggested that although we could use PVC or a copper pipe, pex would be the best option. I clenched my teeth and steadied by stance preparing to hear what it would cost. I was blown away by a very reasonable price quote for a fraction of the price of the shop I just left. In a just a few minutes Ryan helped me put together the project for assembly, handed me a brand new pressure valve, ball joint and perfectly fabricated pex pipe and fittings and I was out the door on the way home to finish the repairs. Everything, including their valued help and experience in planning out the repairs for less than $150.00!! Nice people, fantastic customer support, ethics and integrity makes me proud to support another local company. Especially after the nightmare I had just escaped. Easily kinks. Especially on furniture and loses suction. Furthermore I am tired of breaking down the canister, cleaning filters etc. Safe to say I have grown so sick and tired of my Dyson. I popped into Oreck to see what they had going. When you first walk in it's like going back in time to the 60's & 70's. The uprights look antique for sure. Just slim skinny devices with a bag. I've never had an Oreck before. I was disappointed there weren't any reviews on this place. I checked out the Oreck Ultimate Handheld for $150. The cool sales lady, Tausha, was very knowledgeable and attentive. She demonstrated with the cleaner and allowed me to test it out. It is comfortable and lightweight and has enough suction to lift a 16# bowling ball! I was impressed with this thing so I asked what kind of deals they had. They take trade-ins and they had a sale going on. If I buy the upright cleaner, Magnesium RS, they would knock off $50 on the handheld, but, I couldn't use my trade-in offer as the uprights were on sale. So I figured why not investigate more. I'm really tired of my Dyson (it's 10 years old). I'm here for a handheld so why not check out the uprights? Again I was impressed with the Magnesium RS. It weighs less than 8#, has a full 360 swivel on the head, two speed control, and lays completely flat allowing you to maneuver under furniture. So after vacuuming Oreck's entire floor I decided I would take one of them also. The upright is normally $600. Today they had it onsale for $200 off and I got an additional $50 off for purchasing the handheld! So total combo deal was $500! Plus they RS has a seven year warranty with five free tune ups and I have 30 days to return them if I don't like them. Overall I'm satisfied that I got a good deal and this will make vacuuming my house so much easier and faster. Me on the handheld and spouse on the upright or who knows I may break it down to a two day event. One day for walls, blinds, baseboards, ceiling fans etc. Day two for floors and under furniture. By for now I'm off on a Oreck adventure!!
