This Best Buy is in a convenient part of town, clean, well-organized, and has an extremely friendly sales staff. However. I have found more often than not that the employees here don't really know their products well, or they make up facts about their products out of ignorance. Yes, the prices here are decent, but I almost always have to do extensive background research here on the computers I want to buy, just so I don't become misinformed or fooled by the sales staff here. I don't know whether they're doing it deliberately to fool people, or if the staff genuinely just doesn't know anything about techology... at least they're nice? Also, their customer service is absolutely terrible. Every time I've taken my computer there, no one has ever been able to help me or guide me to a proper solution / place to go to fix my stuff. ...I was also once trying to return a DVD here I received for my birthday that I know for a fact was purchased at this Best Buy, and they denied that it was bought here and wouldn't take the DVD back. what...? read more

I became a regular, people knew who I was and what I was looking for and when I would come in they could tell me if they had what it was I was looking for. I was able to grab a flyer every Sunday and was able to find most of the electronic items I was interested in and some that I wasn't. If you are in the area and looking for a well stocked, well run and organized store that is clean and friendly, I would definitely recommend this one. The nearest Best Buy to this one was in Orlando and about 70 miles from this location, so what they didn't have, they could get from the Orlando location and have it for you within a matter of days. read more

This is the place to let your inner nerd loose (for those of us who are already nerds, this is your haven)! I've found the staff very knowledgeable in their areas of the store. Even if you ask for help from an employee who is passing through an area that is not theirs, they are still very helpful. The store itself pretty much has whatever electronics, movies, music, etc. I'm looking for. But if they don't, I can get if from the website and and pick it up at the store. If you frequently shop here, a Reward Zone membership is a must. You will get coupons in the mail (mine have actually started coming via email) and you can accumulate points for more savings. read more

MEH, this use to be Best buy. NO more car audio. I am now shocked to learn that all best buy electronics are made for best buy and have a best buy logo on the back tag next to the serial number. All the brands are making cheaper equipment to sell in Best Buy stores. This is nothing more than a DIS-Service to the end user. The store apparently has a theft issue. As a result, they have taken many items off the shelf and put them "somewhere" for safekeeping. Consequently, they can't find it, and you can't buy anything. read more

I am a tech nut so I am a frequent shopper at stores like these. I have to say while best buy has a lot to offer, the one thing I wish they would offer is more customer service. I usually go in there and have to wait 15 mins to talk to someone, or it takes forever to find someone to help you. The place over all has a great selection and have some pretty great sales. I think they just need to work on customer service more. read more

Not impressed. I went into here thinking to maybe take advantage of the cheaper taxes and pickup a new macbook retina 13.3. What I got was attitude and indifference. The apple guy was nice but it took a bit to warm up. Over all I was ignored, when I asked legit questions about wifi etc I got more attitude that it doesnt work for that one machine only. Just punch in the damn password to connect to wifi and at least show me. How am I to evaluate if I want to spend 2000 dollars that way. BTW BB you know me. I have bought a LOT from you guys and this was the first time I can say it was a major fail. I wont hold the rest of the store in poor form as a result but the Melbourne store needs some attitude adjustment from a few folks. Make certain you request, read and understand their return policy, BEFORE you make your purchase. My wife and I got suckered by a 15 day gift return policy during the Christmas season. From research we discovered we are certainly not alone in this dilemma, and ended up stuck with a fifty dollar non-refundable purchase. While trying to resolve the issue, one fact became abundantly clear: Their customer service ranges from well hidden to non-existent. Several hours spent on hold with 1-800-GFY got us nowhere! I realize they are under pressure from the .com's, but scavenging profits from unsuspecting customers will only exacerbate the problem. read more

What can I say besides the FACTS..this BEST BUY location when it comes to appliances well please know they are now leasing to PACIFIC SALES which is more on the high end side. The customer service is horrible they don't have a clue as to whats going on. For a better customer experience I went to the Stuart location. They asked all the right questions. Helped me get all my appliances for my new kitchen. They helped with a sooner install date by getting in touch with the installer who was going to actually do my install. It was a great experience. I want to commend the Panama City Best Buy Store #857 team. I had a refrigerator that couldn't be repaired and had a Geek Squad extended warranty. I tried to look into having it replaced as the Geek Squad had approved it. Upon going to Melbourne Florida Store #512 (where I would be for weeks) I was told to pick one out based on what was shown on their computer for my purchase. I was then told later I only had a credit for a fraction of what was paid and what features my unit had. I was also not treated well by the Store Manager and Appliance Manager telling me that's just how it is attitude and acting like they would check on it (never heard anything). Upon going to another store I was given the utmost respect, and was given what I deserved. The management at this facility needs to be replaced as they have no skills for such a job. read more

Worst way to buy an appliance. $6000 in appliances purchased in mid october here it is december 9th and my delivery window came and went and no one showed up. Try calling best buy and you have to get tranferred to 3 people before getting to the right person and each transfer is a 20 min hold. Terrible customer service and a terrible experience. I will never buy another large item from best buy and my best buy credit card is now cut up in the trash. Beware buying appliances from here! read more

Someone used my VISA Credit Card at BestBuy.com to order a laptop on 20 December 2013, I found the transaction 2 days later on a Monday, and contacted Best Buy to cancel the order, the order was never cancelled and Best Buy would not own up to their agents mistake of not cancelling and requesting the product be shipped back to them, I doubt very much that Best Buy shipped the product to arrive on a Monday, when it was ordered on a Friday. I used to be a Platinum Reward Zone Member, but I will never step foot or purchase from them again and I will do my best to make sure my entire organization knows this as well. read more

Excellent customer service I was served by Robert in the laptop section he did an excellent job finding my laptop a and advice to get my laptop to the store faster. Then Chase and Yasmin helped process the pick up when it showed 2 days early they got the laptop to me as soon as it processed into the store. There is excellent service here. read more
