We live out in the country and so we just thought it was the norm to have to live with mouse dropping in our kitchen cupboards and our bedroom closets! Well, I was at a family function for Christmas and I overheard someone say that they had Get Smart Rat Solutions out to their house because they were dealing with mouse droppings. I listened in to the conversation and when they were done I asked Brandon about some things at our house. I told him we currently had an extermination company coming out because we also had an ant problem. We decided to give his company a try. we called his wife Amber to set up our first appointment, Amber was professional, pleasant to talk to and got us in right away! For the first visit, Brandon came out and he set cameras out in our attic to see where the mice were running so that his company could set the boxes with bait in them and trap off them from getting into the house. Brandon also set bait boxes around the house. he was so thorough and informed us about how nice move and everything! we learned so much about mice that night I felt as though I could have been an employee for Brandon! He said he would send one of his employees out in a week or so to check the bait boxes for us and go from there. Our next visit was from Noah, Brandon's son, what a pleasant young man he was! Noah found that all of the bait had been eaten out of the boxes! Noah was friendly, knowledgeable and wanted to help and was there to do his job well! He worked fast but he was efficient! Noah told us someone would be out again in a few weeks to do the same process. The next visit we had Asher, another one of Brandon's sons. Asher also did an amazing job! He was in and out of here in no time! Changed the bait, answered some of our questions, Asher was very knowledgeable which is nice! A few weeks after we noticed the mouse droppings had died down and the problems had gotten better! I then unfortunately noticed ants around in our bathroom by our sink and shower. I immediately called Brandon! He said that they were looking for water. He was on it and came out and took care of it! I told him that our old exterminator would come out every 4 months and spray the exterior of our house to keep the ants down. Brandon said that they shoukd never be spraying any chemicals around or near your house! His company doesn't do that to control the ants. We haven't seen 1 ant since he has been out here to take care of them! We told Brandon back in December that we would give them a try. Our family previously had been battling the few mice we saw by trapping and killing them with bait. We have four dogs and were cautious with that for their safety and our safety as well. It quickly got out of hand and had tried out, finally, aptive as they had told us they could take care of our problem. They only came out every 3 months unless we called them. the traps I had to purchase only would reduce some evidence of mice for two weeks then the activity was darn near doubled if not tripled! we would call and would take them almost another 2 weeks to come out, if they even filled the bait traps again. I was told the last time that it is not the time of year for mice and disregarded me! What?! Well, they over charged us and we were never retributed for the over charges every month to keep there service. 2 years and we gained to reduction or real results! Because now we have such an infestation from not real support we contacted multiple exterminators. The first we had come out was Brandon! I was highly impressed at his knowledge, experience, and how much support he was giving us right away! He in fact had instructed us what kind of mice we had. Which was not the normal basic Washington mouse we have. These mice were getting aggressive! seriously started getting on our beds and actually bit my daughter! Which has been the scariest week of my life. We spent 5 1/2 hours in the ER which contacted the health department because I was terrified for rabies. To find out mice generally don't carry that. But these little critters are not Washington mice, but white footed mice which are in the family line of deer mice which carry Hantavirus! When Brandon had warned me about them I had to take this mouse into the doctors again and have my daughter fully tested for another life threatening illness which could take my daughters life!!! These little guys have come from the East coast and are those you hear a lot about in California killing people! carrying horrible diseases and so forth. Thank God, literally! that my daughters test results all came back negative, but we still need to monitor for any obscure symptoms 2-4 weeks after the bite, which she seems to be doing fine. Thank God for sending Brandon to our home for support and real care! He has been a blessing with all his knowledge, wisdom, comfort, and support. Not to mention his prices are comparable, but the results are beyond that to the exceptional level! Brandon, Noah and team have been extraordinarily thorough, professional and effective in getting rats out of my house and dirt basement. They know what they are doing and are dedicated to their work. Three other companies told me my rat problem was too much for them to take care of. I had another pest control company put down bait and traps for a month, but there were still rat noises , rat poop, rat smells and rats caught in traps. BEST COMPANY EVER When I called them with an issue, they came out within a day for a free estimate. They began their treatments immediately. They're very responsible and respectful. When they needed to go into the crawl space under my house, I asked them to close the door behind them so nothing came into my house and they were happy to. No crazy look or judge eyes. Today the owner came out to my house to make sure everything was going as planned, and could have charged me with a $4,000 service, but instead suggested something else for only $700! He totally could have taken advantage of a complete unknowing mom who wants the issue taken care of, but he didn't. They do completely free estimates! We can't say enough great things about Brandon and his son, Asher. We had a serious rat problem, with the rats accessing our basement and making themselves at home. Brandon came out and gave us a free estimate, talked through various steps to making our house and yard rat-free, and then they came out and took care of both the rats and cleaning up and disinfecting our basement. Not only did they remove insulation, but they took all of our contaminated belongings out and cleaned what was salvageable. I had a squirrel get into the roof. These guys lived up to their claim to use smart solutions, and put a motion sensing camera at the the entrance hole. When they could tell the squirrel was out ( they leave for periods) they blocked the entrance with a solid metal grill. No poison or traps. On top of that, since it got resolved faster than usual, they adjusted the final bill down - that is great integrity. These guys are the best! read more
