So let me start off by saying I initially was looking for an appointment at the Riverside location. I live in the IE. After my initial phone call to the Riverside, and then days later sending an email to them, I received a call from Terry at the Irvine location. Terry immediately addressed my concerns I put in the email. He also alerted me that I was misinformed my the Riverside location, about not being able to self-refer when I have PPO insurance. My husband was/is going through a medical emergency and I was attempting to establish care and an appointment for him to get checked out. If it was not for Terry being thorough/detailed, proactively securing my husband's medical records by me answering a couple of questions, overall kind, attentive, and we would not have gotten in to see a doctor until the following week. We were booked next day, with Terry's help. As a result, I opted to make the drive from the IE to Irvine, instead of the Riverside location the very next day. Good medical practices are very hard to find these days. Terry actions demonstrated compassion and understanding of my concerns of not having my husband wait any longer for an examination. Thank you Terry! Additionally, our appointment was for 12pm. The doctor was prompt and thorough as well. The receptionist that check us in was also prompt, thorough, she showed concern when it appeared that my husband's oxygen was a tad bit low. Said for him to relax, lay back in the recliner and she would get the doctor in right away. I sincerely appreciate the team here. I'm glad Terry called. This is a terrible office (Riverside)! I started this process in October of 2025 and still do not have a machine in July 2026. It is taking nearly 3 months just for the sleep study results to be discussed with me over the phone and that appointment is in August. This is such bad business practice. I would never suggest anyone to this office. 1 star is to many for this business. NEVER AGAIN read more

Had initial zoom call with doctor who was very nice and asked good questions. He decided I needed to do an in home sleep test. Called after several weeks and was told they don't have enough technicians. Waited 2 months and finally got appointment to see tech to pick up equipment for test. About 2 hours before appt was told equipment was broken so needed to reschedule. They seem very unorganized when it comes to doing sleep testing. Finally decided to go somewhere else. read more

Terrible experience, don't go there. The technician could not download information from my machine each time I went there. They don't keep a supply of cords in stock for the machines. The scheduled me for a mask fitting and didn't even do it. They do not offer full sleep studies, you have to go to Riverside for that. Their "sleep study" is just a pulse oximeter. They schedule appointments in blocks so they can bill insurance for multiple visits. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. read more

I am a new patient with Dr Mojaverian at the Pacific Pulmonary Medical Group. First some bullets, then details. - Dr M is very attentive and care/service has been excellent. As a new patient, he came in fully aware of my background and conditions. - The staff is awesome. Responsive, helpful, courteous and patient. I'm happy to report this after having gone through a long gauntlet caused by insurance before arriving here. Specifically a shout out to Giselle, Sheri and Melissa! Some details: I had 2 DVT/PE episodes from long travel over the past 5 years and am on worker's comp. I have needed a Pulmonologist to prescribe medication but the doctor had to be "in network" for the worker's comp insurance. I live an hour away and was finally sent to Dr M after many months of pressing insurance for a referral. As stated, when I met him he had reviewed my 5-year's worth of DVT/PE history and was up to speed on everything. He has now become my worker's comp Pulmonologist who can prescribe the medications I need. Getting the meds is another massive headache when dealing with worker's comp insurance. I had been trying to get the meds under w/c coverage for a couple of months. No progress - I needed an in-network doctor to send the prescription. Dr M sent in the prescription immediately. Then the runarounds got really messy between middle men (doing processing), insurance, my pharmacy and the office staff. The office staff were all patient and helpful and Melissa in particular followed up with insurance multiple times a day to sort out the issue and get the prescription authorized. This took just over 2 weeks.!. This explains my 5-star review for the team. read more

Unbelievably bad service !!! They were VERY difficult to communicate with even IF you were able to get through to a live person. They scheduled an appointment (telehealth) and then claimed that it was an in-person visit. Told the DME provider that we cancelled this appointment. Tried to make another appointment, showed up and was told the Doctor had to postpone - claimed they sent a text message and left voice mail.....NOT on our phone. We are moving on to another pulmonary group. Don't even bother with this group. read more

I am in need of a medical equipment order to be sent to my insurance. I have waited for over 2 months for the order to be sent to my insurance. IT HAS NOT BEEN SENT!!! Every time I call I never get a return call. This office is slow and incompetent of doing their one job. The doctor is good but his staff is rude and disorganized. Do not go there if you actually expect a nice,organized,caring or thoughtful staff to carry out the doctors order. read more

I had an appointment with a doctor and was told his assistant would follow up. Not only was I the one who had to call back the next day for her to follow up on sending my orders over to me but I had to call again for my prescription to be sent in. It still hadn't been sent in and it's been over 24 hours. They certainly don't act with urgency. Had a visit with the doctor who was nice but didn't seem fully attentive. Also requested one medicine and he gave another. Said x rays would be needed in a month due to covid. If it was covid I would have liked to Know for sure. Insurance was billed $650 for the visit. Then they sent me a bill a YEAR later. I called and the billing department did not see the issue here at all. They felt it was my responsibility to call them once I got an EOB to pay them. So the whole Office staff here lacks any initiative or sense of urgency. read more

Not only was he a very nice person, he made some good suggestions and put together a good plan for me to address my Sleep Apnea concerns during our short call. Having worked in the healthcare field for well over 20 yrs, I have experienced very poor customer service to some of the very best in this business. I have been fortunate to be referred to Pacific Pulmonary Medical Clinic from my PCP and my request to be seen by the specialty team they have in place. The professionalism from receptionist to the respiratory therapist Angela who preformed the test and pushed me to do the very best I could on a very taxing test, to Adriana and Dr Moammar were the upmost professional and thorough going over everything in my testing results. I arrived 10 min early and was seen on my scheduled time no waiting. My husband is a new patient to this clinic and Dr Kanaan was extremely detailed and clear in the diagnosis and pre and post-surgery explanations. Moreover his medical assistant, Jaime Murray, went above and beyond to ensure we never had to worry about scheduling appointments with the hospital. She understands and prioritizes patients' needs and makes the logistics and scheduling process as easy as possible. We really appreciate both Dr Kanaan and Jaime's professionalism. Dr Sooong is excellent very knowledgeable of the lungs & best of all knows how to treat your ailments. The office accepts all insurance however if you don't have insurance it could be very expensive for a DR visit there is short questionnaire you fill out once you arrive. read more

Deeply disappointing experience. I was referred to Dr. Soong several months ago to try and find out the cause of my chronic fatigue. They kept me waiting three months for an appointment, then set me up with a "home sleep study", which turned out to be completely worthless. They then made me wait three more months for an in-house sleep study. And then they made me wait two more months to get the results of the sleep study, which basically consisted of Dr. Soong shrugging his shoulders and saying "I dunno". Complete waste of several months of my time. read more

I just wanted to let others know that this is the best in pulmonary Care one can get. I have been in fear of sleeping due to my breathing slowly stopping while I sleep. I can't explain the terror I experience every time it happens. I have recently been assigned to a Sleep Study Coordinator MA Belen Perez and I must say she's wonderful. I also have been working with Soul Mary who has been such a pleasure speaking with in making room on the schedule for me and my special needs. Belen Perez has kept me on board as I must say I have had numerous emotional fall outs and fears however her compassion for me and my family is overwhelming, she's rearrange the technicians to ensure I received the right individual for the overnight shift I will be tested on. I was amazed that my equipment order is already received and approved, just awaiting the doctors prescribing orders. I am also looking forward to having my first fear free nights sleep. Dr. Hsieh, Phoebe, Josie, and Daniel have been extremely heartfelt, compassionate, exhibit extreme professionalism, and have outstanding bedside manner. Dr. Hsieh and his team have truly gone above and beyond in treating my vocal cord dysfunction, asthma, and difficulty breathing; other specialty physicians have also recognized Dr. Hsieh and his team for always being extremely thorough with both bedside manner and medical treatment. Pacific Pulmonary has never given up on me and treating my health conditions. Phoebe and Josie have also showed true compassion and have always helped me; both have excellent follow-up skills and have always shown the upmost professionalism while also showing compassion. In addition, they are also positive and greet their patients with a smile. Dr. Hsieh has spent extensive time with me listening to my concerns and addressing all of my questions. Dr. Hsieh always makes ample time for me despite his busy schedule. The entire staff at Pacific Pulmonary has truly demonstrated the art of both treating patients with such true compassion and helping their patients, along with their professionalism, superb bedside manner, excellent follow-up skills, and each of the team members provides compassion and love towards their patients. Dr. Hsieh, Phoebe, Josie, and Daniel have never given up on my case as challenging as it has been, and continue to provide patience towards my health, questions, and concerns. Pacific Pulmonary has never given up on helping me - which has really meant a lot to both my husband and I. I highly recommend Pacific Pulmonary - specifically Dr. Hsieh, Phoebe, Josie, and Daniel for any pulmonary concerns. Their team has truly touched both my husband and I with their compassion and never giving up on us to help improve my quality of life.
