This is a rating regarding one of their drivers and their "Contact Us" page on their website. To be clear, I am NOT leaving a service rating, as they have not provided me with any. I tried to provide driver feedback on their contact page and repeatedly received an error message. So adding it here hoping the company receives it. I am writing to let you know about a reckless driver driving one of your company vehicles in the Northgate Mall area today 7/25/25 around 1:30PM today. The license plate of the vehicle was C24250U. The driver sped through the parking lot by Barnes and Nobles and onto Northgate Way. They then quickly moved to the right by two lanes with little more than a cursory glance and if I had not been paying attention might have clipped my front bumper as I adjusted my speed anticipating their movement. This person's driving was a poor representation for your company's care for safety and professionalism. We worked with Carter Wong and Mark Levkiv. The service, communication, quality of work and responsiveness was very subpar once we signed the contract. We finished up since it was a smaller water damage. We had to augment their work with other other contractors since they were not reliable. I've worked with Fischer restoration, Servpro and All new again previously for water damage restoration and know what to expect. This is by far the worst experience I've had. Pacific Rim CR came to our rescue for a second time in 18 months. This time the shower valve in our upstairs kids bathroom failed causing a leak down to the main floor. Add into all of that Covid-19. They came out right away, found the leak, and the next day had drying equipment set up. Everything was dry in a few days. They did a great job and even found more water under the hardwood floors. We had a leak from our master bathroom to the room below. This required taking out most of the basement rooms ceiling/insulation. Our plumber recommended Pacific Rim, and they came to get everything dried out. Then they subbed out getting the insulation/sheetrock replaced, taping, mudding and painting. Pros: They were quick to respond and all of the folks that worked on our issue were very nice. Cons: For whatever reason, it took four times with four separate companies to get the repair work done correctly. Pacific Rim reps themselves were very helpful and apologetic, but what should have been a 2-3 day job ended up taking weeks. Not to mention all of the dust from having to sand four plus times covering the entire house. I hope that Pacific Rim never puts another customer through what we had to endure. read more

1. On the original bid, the project manager put in $3,000 to repair my kitchen nook (he called it the dining room) floor. I went through the bid carefully and challenged him because there was nothing wrong with that floor. I'm still wondering how such a large item got put into the bid by mistake. 2. They require 100% payment up front before the work is even scheduled. I've never known any construction company to do this. How do I guarantee that the work is done to my satisfaction or even finished? I would have probably allowed the project to proceed if not for this red flag. 3. They apparently have a 20% requirement if you back out of the deal, even though they have ordered no materials nor had any workers come. I hadn't even picked out any tile. They want over $1,000 for doing nothing. I have contacted my lawyer about this and will see where it goes from here. 4. In an email to me asking for the 20% the project manager made some inaccurate claims about how insurance companies deal with the contractors on their list. There is no discount for either party. read more

Worse in business, never try them. They are good in extorting money from you and the Insurance. For me E. Abraham was the project manager, and he was highly unresponsive, his voice mail was always full as he never answers calls. They did not do my water mitigation right and took a lot of money and I had to redo some of the damage again. They lost my keys and when I asked about taht they said we gave it to my neighbor (I never had a consent for that) and worse part it they do not know whom they gave and when I asked replacement of the lock, they replaced a part of it instead of changing entire lock. Their mitigation bill is full of jokes like they installed 17 air movers for 6 days for a damaged area less than 250 square foot (I am not sure if that many devices can be fit into this area), moving a toilet paper stand 10' away they charged $10. There are several examples like that... read more

JUST NO - LOOK ELSEWHERE. Terrible (no) communication. I told them to do no work not covered by insurance. I asked for an estimate of costs , didn't get one ("don't worry, it's covered by insurance). Spoiler alert - it wasn't. And guess who pays for their mistake.... I wish that was the worst part. Started a water damage project that forced repairs to a small bathroom and laundry room in January. Area was quickly dried out, and since the opportunity arose, we were planning to make additional upgrades to the bathroom. Pacific Rim is probably one of the worst contractor I have ever worked with. I called them to help me with a water damage recently. 1. They failed to asses the damage properly. Broke my kitchen cabinets unnecessarily which costed me quite a huge amount to replace. 2. They initially gave me a false hope/guidance that insurance is going to cover their cost, but they failed to convince insurance adjuster and charged me much more $$ than any other vendor could have charged. 3. Their workers are not quite novice! They don't even know how to turn off a house's water line! It's hard to believe!! They damaged my refrigerator while moving staffs. 4. They don't hold themselves accountable on the damages they do but refuse it like a liar. If things go well, they are probably okay but be careful as sometime things may not go as expected like me! read more

The remediation crew did a good job. But the front office is really messed up. Rarely would an actual person answer the phone. And because of that, there was no follow up after the first inspection to ensure we got a timely quote. When we did get the quote [after 3 phone calls only one of which was responded to], it did not include the reinstallation of the insulation and vapor barrier which wasn't noticed until the remediation team was leaving the site. They had no answer as to when or how the remaining work would get done. We made three more phone calls again with no person responding. We finally went to another company to finish the work and they actually had a person answering the phone and we set up the work for the next day. read more

We contacted Pacific Rim when a water emergency occurred in our home and needed urgent attention. They were fast to respond and mitigate the issue and dry us out. Everything seemed to work well with them and how responsive and helpful they were. When it came to restoration, we simply couldn't trust them after several experiences with weeks of no response, inflated quotes, and not listening to what we were asking for. We were being pressured to do more repair than was needed and it made the situation extremely frustrating. They were also not truthful about conversations with our insurance. I had some water drain into my crawlspace after some particularly rainy days-- these guys were able to promptly diagnose the problem (same day!) and come out to drain it within a few days afterward. The quote was fairly expensive (as it ought to be for sewage cleanup & restoration) and a little ambiguous as to what restoration work was to be done. Dominic, who came out the day the water was found, gave me the quote and told me Pacific Rim CR would replace any materials damaged by the water, such as vapor barrier, but excluding insulation. The technicians who cleaned up the water did not replace the vapor barrier, but I still ended up paying the quoted price, which is why this review is four stars instead of five. I was able to rectify the issue through external communication with Mike and Dominic. They refunded me a significant portion of the quoted amount and were quick to respond and remained pleasant throughout the ordeal in spite of my frustration. Thanks, guys! read more

Pacific Rim was referred to us by our plumbers after fixing a waste drain problem under the crawl space in our house. Abraham seemed nice and knowledgeable but he sent a Project Manager Dylan to coordinate the bid and project. The first red flag should have been him not calling me to schedule a time for the work to be done. After finalizing the bid he said he would call next day to schedule a time. I got a call that day not from Dylan but from the workers saying they would arrive in 30 minutes. They came and cleaned the mess in about 90 minutes, there is a 4 hour minimum and a $2000 minimum for Pac Rim so we had asked them to vacuum the dryer lint in the crawlspace and remove and replace any contaminated insulation. That part was not communicated from Dylan to the workers and they were trying to leave piles of lint on the pipes the ground. I had to physically come home from work on my lunch hour to sort it as best I could, they had already ripped the insulation off of 2 large sections of duct and informed me that they had an HVAC company that did insulation work but they couldn't put it back and it would be another bid. I had them clean a bit more LINT ONLY out of there then just got them gone. Best part was that Dylan called them during the job trying to fix the mistakes a bit after talking to me again and even his workers said he tried to pawn them off and said he was busy and in a meeting. tl;dr - Dylan was a terrible PM and miss-represented the scope of their work to me and what I wanted to the onsite workers. Will NOT ever use this company again. read more

It's never fun when you have a plumbing leak and have to spend a bunch of time fixing the issue. Luckily I was referred to these guys by my plumber after my plumber fixed the leak on a Saturday. I called this outfit, they showed up the same day to asses the situation and had their dry out team show up right away to start drying stuff up. The whole process start to finish was pretty pain free. The best part was that they knew how to work with our insurance company to get everything covered. Had I had to do it myself, the insurance company would have not covered half the stuff. Luckily they know how to present the invoices properly so I got proper coverage. They were so great at communication with timeline, costs scheduling and were so friendly, quick and polite every time they came to my house I'm so happy to have had this referral. I hope I don't have another leak but I'm glad to have these guys in my back pocket if I ever had an issue again! read more

They are (Pacific Rim) beyond phenomenal! A toilet backed up with 1 inch of water in the whole downstairs part of the house over a long weekend is someone's worst nightmare. Abraham, Frank and his team have made everything so smooth and easy for us! They came in, neatly wrapped up all our furniture and got to work immediately and even guided us through the process with our insurance company and adjuster. We couldn't have asked for anything more. I had a contractor that highly recommended them and I trust them blindly! I would recommend them going forward to all my family and friends in a heartbeat. If anyone has gone through a home disaster like this, the anxiety and tears that follow are not new to them. We feel so so lucky to have been guided to go and give them a call. This company is absolutely terrible. I would never, ever recommend their services to anyone. In June 2020, the hose from the fridge broke and soaked our floor that then made a waterfall into our downstairs bedroom. We called Beacon Plumbing at 8pm. That evening Beacon Plumbing stopped the water flow and they recommended Pacific Rim for drying up the water. The next morning Pacific Rim came in and had us sign a contract for work, which was to dry up the wet areas and to guarantee the work for replacement. We signed and the next thing we knew half of our kitchen was torn up and our oven was laying on the floor. Months and months and months, subcontractors, subcontractors and subcontractors, came and went. In November we had a solid plan set for new cabinets, flooring, countertop and backsplash (one subcontractor that we gave up on tried to sell us his used/or extra stuff-not okay) and everything was held up until January when we were scheduled to start the rest of the demolition and install. January 4th came and no demo. No one showed up to do the demo. I personally removed cabinet doors and hardware, but now the guys delivering all the new kitchen cabinets are here and want to know where to put these enormous boxes. So in the kitchen, and my dining room and living room they were placed. Finally with lots of loud words, Pacific Rim shows up and says we need to move this stuff so they can do a demo. So, Pacific Rim brought some random guys to pick up the cabinets, place them into a truck (two loads) and drive away. I was given zero information as to where my cabinets were going, despite asking numerous times. A subcontractor finally comes in and demo is done on a Friday, but he leaves all the trash around and the trailer of old cabinets and flooring and tile in my front yard. Monday, I find out that the subcontractor quit, he comes in and takes his tools and I have no idea where my cabinets are, and now I have no subcontractor, yet again. Next, another subcontractor comes in and he "saves'' the day and gets the cabinets back and "starts" to work. But, this crook of a contractor installs two cabinets upside down, cuts out the back part of the cabinet that is meant for the cooktop as a sink, and makes a mess of my home. He brings his lady friend to help and she is using my home as hers and then he does a disappearing act and says that he needs extra money to help fix this vent problem that was found and an entire 2 weeks goes by with zero word on what is going on. Pacific Rim brings in another new guy and he knows a guy to "fix" this mess. So, this guy actually works 3 days and the cabinets are finally put in place, yet we can't finish because now we have to replace the broken cabinets that the other guy broke. Another 3 weeks go by without any work or word on what is happening with the kitchen and now it is March. The replacement cabinets take 6-8 weeks. We have had numerous guys come in and yet, they barely address us, the homeowners. Instead I get an attitude from these guys that all of this takes time and that we need to be patient with the process. It has been 9 MONTHS! The list of items to be done is over a page long. We text, we call and then we get the silent treatment and are basically held hostage to this non-stop of lack of communication and follow-thru from Pacific Rim. This is an absolute horror story for this kitchen. I have photos of everything and a very, very detailed account of all the actions from this company. Pacific Rim came out the night our basement flooded and has been amazing to work with ever since. Alex, Artemio, and Krystal were extremely knowledgeable and helpful working through the tear-out of all water damaged surfaces. Krystal went above and beyond working with insurance and made sure we were taken care of and advocated for when insurance only wanted to do what benefited them most. I was so impressed with their dedication to doing what was right for us regardless of the headache it caused them. The reconstruction team has also been fabulous. Kevin wrote up an extremely detailed estimate for insurance and again worked hard to get us everything we deserved that insurance wanted to push back on. Nick secured all the individual contractors for the project and went above and beyond to explain things to us and keep all the individual teams on track. He even came out on a Friday afternoon to help a one-man team get our laundry back in the house and setup so we didn't have to go another week+ without laundry. Excellent service. This is the second time we've called Pacific Rim for a water damage disaster. The first time was water damage caused by a cracked shower plan. The company came right out and did excellent work at assessing the damage and working with our insurance. Pacific Rim coordinated the work involved for drying out the soaked wood, replacing sub-flooring, bathroom flooring, shower and plumbing, tile and wall board. The finished project was outstanding. And only cost us our insurance deductible. Now, a pipe feeding the dishwasher has broken. Once again, Frank at Pacific Rim sent out Artemio -- within the hour -- to assess the situation. Artemio has checked it out, told us what to expect next and basically told us, "Don't Worry. We got this." And I absolutely believe him. This will be an0ther job well done. read more

Had a leak and the plumbets brouhht this company out to loolat tje damage and estimate the repairs. The estimate. My insurance refused to work with them, didn't understand why, but I chose a different company to do the demo and drying out that the insurance company recommended. After that was done I contacted them again about getting an estimate for the repairs. The insurance company had already been out an estimated it and already cut me a check but he did not tell these guys what the amount was. The guy that came out, Jeremy, first he had to make a phone call because they "don't normally work directly with the homeowner and only work with the insurance company". He mapped out my entire house, and when I finally asked the question is to why he stated that I was entitled to have all of my laminate in the house replaced by my insurance company because in his words it's a continuous run. I explained to him as I did when he 1st arrived that I had the laminate flooring already. The previous owner had put in the laminate and bought extra and I had enough, more than enough, to replace the removed laminate. He said he was pretty confident he could get Insurance to pay to we do the entire house. I said I'm not intrested in we doing the entire house when the laminate it's in here is not that old and I had the replacement pieces. Once he realized that I wasn't going to agree to that he quickly packed up his stuff and said he would send me an estimate. It's been 5 days and I still don't have the estimate. Now I know why my insurance company wouldn't work with them when it came to the demo and drying. They like to scam insurance companies and homeowners. read more

The remediation part of the project was handled very quickly and efficiently. The crew was respectful, professional, and sensitive to our needs. It took about a week to dry the damaged areas out. The reconstruction phase began in a disjointed fashion, which left much to be desired. The initial response from the company was that they were choosing not to do this part of the job - they didn't say why, other than they were busy. Our feeling is that if you were too busy to complete the job, why did you start it in the first place - we never did get a satisfactory explanation from the company as to why they left us in the lurch. After a good deal of complaining and exerting external pressure, they did agree to perform the reconstruction phase of the project. Once this happened, things went rather smoothly. We received excellent service from the project manager, Dylan Evans, who was always on top of things, and kept us informed of timing. Andy Baatar of Northern Lights Construction did the actual work of the reconstruction - removal of the rest of the damaged tile floor, installation of the subfloor, installation of the new tile floor, replacement of the crawl space insulation, and replacement of the finish trim. Andy exceeded our expectations in the quality of the fine work that he provided - he was great and a pleasure to work with.. All in all we were very pleased with the final product and its quality, but we were somewhat concerned with the overall integrity and management of the company. read more

Had a white mold issue in the attic of our new home we purchased. Called Pacific rim who works with American clean crawls to get the job done. Very well communicators as they called every day with a progress report and what was planning to get done that day. They were expensive but worth it. Cost around ($5,000) for mold removal and adding new venting to the home to prevent reoccurance. They do warranty their work for 5 years as well which is always nice. read more

They were recommended by a plumbing company to remove 6-12 inches of water under our home. The plumbing company could not turn back on our hot water heater till the water had been remove. Pacific rim called right away to tell us a time they would be here to look under the house. They did not arrive till 2 hours later. The tech wanted to let my sump pump pull out all the water and give it a couple of day. I have three kids and can not have my hot water off for a few days. He stated that he would have a team come out later that night and start the removal of the water so I could get the plumber back out to fix the water leak the next day (Saturday).The team arrive at 7:30 on a Friday night and said all they were here to do was look at the damage and find the leak not to remove the water. They did not even have the equipment nor did they know how to turn on the hot water heater to find the leak. That team said he would have someone out Saturday morning to put a sump pump down so we could get a plumber in later Saturday evening. When the team arrived on Saturday morning they dropped off a bucket. A Lowe's bucket. If they needed a bucket I had one they could use. I got a call Saturday afternoon stating that there weekend team told them to fuck off so he had to come down and get the water moving. He arrive late evening on Saturday. While pumping the water out there sumo pump broke and then they started using the one that had been under the house the entire time. There was an appointment set for there team to come out on Monday between 10 and 11. 15 min before they were to show up I got a call saying they had to pull that team off this job to go to another one and moved my appointment to Tuesday with out getting the ok from us. When I looked under our house they left there cover all's under our home and still has not yet arrived to start the job of removing insulation, vapor barrier. read more

Come to the house unprepared - I was willing to tolerate that. Did not really clean after themselves - I did cleanup myself - I was willing to tolerate that as well. They did what seemed to be a good job at a time, but checking closer several months later - the work performed was sloppy and far from the quality levels advertised. Too bad it has been months since the work was performed.... At this point, I wish I had selected different company to work the problem. I would recommend going with individual contractors - cheaper and quality can be controlled better. read more
