She looked at 5 different companies, and the main things that stood out with this company were that they guarantee their timeline and budget: if they go over the timeline they will pay you $250 per day. Aaron was always there to answer my questions and reached out every day to let me know where we were at in the timeline (most days they were ahead of schedule... how often do you hear that about a remodel?) She took measurements and said that our granite countertops were good as were our cabinets so we chose to paint our cabinets and add new hardware with several pull out drawers. We also went with newer type flooring they offered. A hybrid core laminate/vinyl. We put flooring throughout the house. This took only 2 weeks and the team was great. Casey the owner, project manager, was on top of everything. We really appreciated that! We couldn't be happier with the final project.

So I call to cancel my in home estimate and Jennifer answers the phone, I identify myself and let her know I would like to cancel my appointment. I let her know that I do not need to reschedule as we have chosen another contractor to go with, she replies, "Oh, well", then click, hangs up on me. Guess if you don't choose them to your project, then they don't care about professionalism or good customer service. I did call her back and tell her how rude it was for her to hang up on me, and all she says "I thought you were done", when she didn't even confirm she would cancel the appointment, say goodbye, or anything, just click.

Disappointing Customer Service…read more I purchased all of my home appliances, including my washer and dryer, from Direct Appliance, so I was very disappointed with how they handled an issue with my dishwasher. The dishwasher stopped cleaning properly, particularly the top rack. A technician came out, spent only 5-10 minutes looking at it, and concluded that the dishwasher pods were creating too many suds--even though I was using the recommended pods. I called back and explained that the issue clearly wasn't resolved. I was told the lead technician would contact me, but he never did. A few weeks later, I called again because the problem persisted. They wanted to charge me another service fee to come back out. After going back and forth with the service department, I was told, "We have the right to refuse to service you," and that notes would be placed on my account. I ultimately diagnosed and fixed the problem myself. A 30-cent screw had come loose, causing a loss of water pressure to the top rack--a common issue with these dishwashers. What frustrates me most is that the problem could have been identified with a more thorough inspection. Instead, the technician settled on the first explanation and left. After spending a significant amount of money with this business on our appliances, I expected much better customer service and support. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend Direct Appliance.
