I am a HUGE fan. I have 3 cats. I once had 4 cats until one of them decided that my carpet was her new litter box. This went on for many months in this townhouse before I gave her away. The best part? My other 3 cats could smell her accidents, so they also decided that the hallway was litter box number 2. After reading reviews here on Yelp and calling around for quotes I decided to hire Bridge Town Carpet Cleaning. Not only did Ted give me an exact quote down to the cent per square inch, but he also gave me a very detailed explanation of exactly how my carpet and the cat accidents that came with it would be dealt with. And yes, I am now referring to them in past tense. My house literally smelled like a stinky gym shoe, but after they cleaned my carpet. Nada. No smell whatsoever. It's been several days since my carpet cleaning and still no smell. Furthermore, my carpet is pretty much spotless. They did tell me when they arrived that it was pretty worn and that some spots could return. We had some really bad stains in the hallway that have been here since we moved in. Thank you for keeping your word and coming back out to treat the coffee stain for free. Someone spilled an entire mocha in our office. Not a half cup, a full cup of just brewed 7am wake-up soaked into our office carpet. We tried to clean it up using towels and carpet cleaners but it wasn't working so we called Bridge Town Carpet Cleaning. Bridge Town was able to schedule after hours cleaning so no one had to stop working. The next morning, the stain was gone and our carpet was spotless! Even though the carpet was spotless, the carpet cleaning technician told us that the coffee stain might come back since so much fluid was spilled in a high traffic area and that it may have absorbed into the foam. He told us not to worry and said to call him if that happened. Almost a week later, just like he said, the stain started to come back. We called Bridge Town Cleaning again and they came back out treat the spot for free. It only took them about 10 or 15 minutes to retreat the area and the stain was gone. It has now been 4 months and the stain is still gone. However, the carpet is no longer spotless because someone tracked in mud a few weeks ago so we'll probably see you very soon. This company is friendly, professional, reliable and most important -- trustworthy. They worked around my schedule instead of their own; the price was reasonable and the cleaner was both thorough and fast. He had a lot of dog pee stains to clean up, and while he explainined the benefits of a deeper cleaning he didn't push it. Years ago a company lured me with super cheap rates, then the guy spent a full hour trying to upsell me on extras. I quickly went on Yelp and found Bridge Town Carpet Cleaning based on their reviews and great website. Don't let the name fool you, they do much more than just carpet cleaning. They do full water damage restoration. I called and spoke to Ted. I told him what was going on and he one of his co-workers were out at my parent's house in under an hour. They were extremely professional, prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable and made my dad at ease with their explanation of the process they would need to go through to repair the damage. Fantastic service! Was given an estimate of $125 for a 2-bedroom apartment, which felt like a steal, and was well below what I had expected. When it came time for payment, I was charged precisely the amount estimated. About a year ago when I hired a different company (big brand name competitor) and I was charged $150 for HALF of the same job. I wish I had heard about Bridge Town earlier! I admit there were some impossible-to-get out stains, but I also understand that is part of the business. All of their staff were friendly professionals. If they couldn't completely eradicate a stain they were up front about it. Their cleaner was detail-oriented and spent a good amount of time on each room. They kept a dialog going through the process so I understood any issues. They were on time, actually ahead of time and they called me to make sure that was OK. Sent a professional email asking for an appointment, received one response that was very nice, and replied with a request for confirmation. Nothing. Waited five days. Unsure why the dialogue had ceased, I emailed again that I would find someone else and rate my experience. The owner told me that I had no standing to rate them if I hadn't experienced their service... well, how exactly should I go about rating my carpet cleaning experience when I can't get a carpet cleaning response? I have no problem with how people run their business but I don't quite understand how overt requests to give you money for your service go by the wayside. No big deal at the end of the day. I hired Gallagher's to do my carpet, upholstery, and rug. The owner interfaced with me directly to iron out every detail and treated me with the upmost respect. We called Bridgetown Carpet Cleaning to clean our carpets while I was nesting with twins! With a 6 yr old, a 3 yr old, a dog and 2 cats, our carpets needed it! Also, our dog had gotten sick early last year and was unable to make it outside to do his business. Likewise one of our indoor cats had a urinary track infection and no longer wanted to use the litter box. So I was more than a little anxious as to whether the stains and the smell would come out. We contracted to have 3 bedrooms and a 9x12 area carpet cleaned in the rental home we were vacating. Jordan was on-time (he even called and offered to come earlier) and did a great job of cleaning the room carpets. I was amazed at how clean he got the area carpet (we set it up in the empty garage on visquine). We forgot to do the online coupon deal, but it didn't matter. Very courteous and personable..BUT.. ...I was totally candid about the age and condition of the carpet. It's also true that the carpet was sorely challenged by one of our dogs. My expectations were minimal. I even anticipated that odor would be persistent. HOWEVER .. one month after the "cleaning", we ran our Hoover carpet cleaner on a "non-dog" area of the rug. The solution turned BLACK. It was filthy!! In fact.. when the tub was emptied.. there was sludge in the bottom! Disgusting!!..and disappointing, as well. Clearly, the technician was not competent, or (even worse), not truthful. What we saw was just plain dirt..and lots of it. While our experience may have had some unique conditions attached.. dirt is dirt. read more
