Sean responded right away and was able to get me scheduled two days later. The basement carpet was in bad shape and all the stains came out which was beyond my expectation. Sean told us that the stains could resurface after a few days and if they did to let him know and he would come back. Highly recommend Sean's Carpet Care. Sean came to do a complex job with multiple variables at our business. Everything looked great but the set of newer carpets didn't come as clean as the rest of the carpets. He had a reasonable theory about what could've caused it. All and all it was fine but but we were a little disappointed. A few days later, unprompted, I got a text from him saying he'd done some research and wanted to come back and apply a different formula to those carpets. He came back as promised, worked on them a little more with the new formula and they looked great. In contrast we'd recently had an experience with another local company who cleaned carpets at one of our rentals. They up-charged for what they called 'especially dirty carpets' but they were done with the job in the same amount of time they'd estimated for a simpler, less expensive job. The stairs we were charged a premium for didn't look like they'd been cleaned at all. Ultimately Gallaghers came back to redo the carpets but the owner was rude and condescending about it.The whole experience was quite odd, especially considering they have a 5 star rating. In contrast, Sean really cares about doing a great job. He wanted our carpets to look great and for us to feel really happy with the job. He also was willing to work around our complex timeline. I called Sean last week and he agreed to come clean my upholstery at 9 this morning. He arrived promptly at 8:59 and spent TWO HOURS using his "whole chemistry set" to find the right solvent to remove some stubborn stains on my couch. The mystery stain came from a renter while I was out of town and I didn't have a clue what it might be. I honestly thought I'd have to replace it, but thought I'd give Sean a try. I was so impressed by his tenacity and the care and time he took to "win" over the stains. Now that it's nearly dry, I'd say it's 95% better...and perfectly livable. The price was reasonable and he charged exactly what he quoted over the phone despite the extra work. I will never use anyone else. read more

I cannot say enough good things about Sean's Carpet Care! We had hired a different carpet guy (who had mostly 4 and 5 star reviews) to come clean our disgusting carpets -- we have 4 cats, so you can imagine what our carpets are like. The Other Guy did possibly the worst job I've ever seen -- pee stains and smells were still there after he finished, the carpets were left crunchy, there were other random stains still visible and the carpet looked absolutely no better. So: Sean to the rescue. He is not inexpensive...but his service is worth it. He thoroughly examined the carpet with a blacklight to see where the worst of the cat pee stains and odors were, did extensive pre-treating, and spent quite a long time thoroughly cleaning the carpet. He was careful about protecting our furniture, and took great care to dry the carpet as much as possible after the cleaning. Best of all, he offered to return if any spots/stains/odors returned after the carpet was dry. There was indeed a yucky ring of schmutz that wicked (wick'd?) up as the carpet was drying, and also some cat pee stain and odor that wasn't quite eradicated the first time, and he did indeed return to take care of those areas. He's also very personable and was conscientious about wearing a mask while he was in the house. I will absolutely call him next time we need carpet cleaning. read more

If you're debating on a carpet cleaning company because there's so many and they use different methods, USE Sean's Carpet Care HANDS DOWN! There are horror stories out there about carpets being too wet after using the hot water method of cleaning but my experience with Sean and his service is completely opposite. He left at 1pm today and as I'm writing this it's 7:30pm and my carpets are dry to the touch! There is a faint scent of CLEAN, not a chemical smell as some worry about. My carpets had not been cleaned since I bought my home 3 years ago and they look brand new and smell brand new. In addition to getting the living/frequently traveled carpeted areas of my home cleaned, I had 4 pet urine areas that needed treated along with 29 stairs. The entire job from arrival to pulling out of my driveway took about 4 hours. Sean is very knowledgeable and engaging. He was upfront with pricing and no surprises. If I could give Sean a 10+ rating, I would. My downstairs carpets had a number of large unsightly spots after renting my home out for 4 years. When I was moving back in, my youngest daughter recommended I just get new carpet after seeing them. Luckily, I remembered that Sean had saved my oldest daughter sister from having to replace her carpets TWICE (first, when she was getting ready to sell her home and second, in the home she bought) several years ago. Sean came to give me a bid in two days and scheduled me for this week. He came yesterday to do the job and my carpets look like new today! I wish I had taken before pics!
