I often refer clients to a handful of agents so that they can choose the agent and policy that they like best. Diana CONSISTANTLY impresses my referrals with professionalism as well as beats out the other companies quotes. Not only does Intrinsic offer extremely competitive prices but I have NO DOUBT in my mind that my customers will be taken care of. She is always looking out for the clients best interest. There has not been one instance in which my client has given me any other feedback other than praise for Intrinsic and their employees. One reason insurance is such a headache to deal with is because its not easily understood by the average consumer. There can be different levels of coverage, premiums, prices, hidden costs, etc. but Intrinsic is 100% transparent. Sometimes we'd deal with Kathy O'Connors, who was very helpful and nice. Ultimately, though, we'd have to deal with "Dusty," one of the rudest individuals to whom we were giving our business (more than $30,000.00 per year)! Nowadays--with all of the natural disasters occurring in our region and country--it can be difficult to obtain insurance coverage. On top of that challenge came the burden of having to put up with verbal abuse from "Dusty." If you can imagine an SNL skit where an employee of a business treats the customers in an outrageously insulting way, just multiply it by 10 and you've got our frequent SSR experience! We considered that "Dusty" might be a hater of women, but when my nephew, a successful businessman, spoke with "Dusty," he came away flabbergasted at the obnoxious rudeness with which he was treated! And her assistant wasnt even a registered assistant with the state. As a first time home buyer, things should not be as stressed as she and her company made it. I would not recommend her or her company. They did not return calls, they did not return messages in a timely manner. In which she would not even speak to my real estate lady. In the end we had to find the actual licensed broker and tell him we would be putting a bad report on his license if he didnt get this moving and get Lori to respond to us. I got this broker through Zillow, and an not happy whats ever. Our home which should have close in 30 days took twice as long. It was like they didn't even start till the last minute, because as they new I would be in hawaii. We were pre approved like April 1st, they requested all my documents and that was the week of May 5th. Thank goodness I took my lap top with me and was able to retrieve all the documents they needed. They even signed me up for a home insurance company that I didnt want, and took me 6 months of fighting with this insurance company to even get it resolved as it went into a collection status when I already had an insurance company to begin with. Needless to say I did not close on my home till June 7th. I did get my home in the end yes, but at GREAT STRESS!!! Take my warning on this company.

Ozzie found a policy for us that was less expensive and had more coverage! I wasn't expecting that. I thought for sure I would be charged more this time around. And he did it in record time (before our old policy had lapsed)! Then I did this crazy thing, and asked him to re-certify all of our previous certificates for all the clients that were listed on our old policy. Horrible business ethics and customer service!…read more When my work comp & liability insurance came up for renewal, I put it out to bid and got a great response from an agent @ Western Century. This was the only good part of my experience with this company. I only gave them one star because I had to give them a rating, they really deserve nothing. Long story short, this company took my deposit and never followed Through with binding my workers' comp policy. In all of my years in business, I have never had an experience like this. When I called to follow up and find out what was going on, I was given the run around. Only to be told, they could not honor the original quote, I would have to pay over $2K more a year for the policy and they took no responsibility for it AT ALL! Needless to say, I have filed a complaint with the CA insurance commissioner. I hope this review helps someone else from not falling prey to the unethical business practices of Western Century Insurance Services. I also look forward to the insurance commissioner investigating them.
