Cynthia is such a talented photographer! She has a great eye for lighting and style. At the start, she helped me decide on the outfits and on the day of the shoot, she even let me borrow her bouquet when my own turned out unsuitable. During the photo shoot she guided us through all the poses telling us exactly where to look and how to position our bodies. Locations were also scouted out in advance making it a seamless process. My makeup and hair was done my Coco who tailored each look specially to my facial structure and features. She's incredibly precise and detailed. Given the pandemic, she took special care to sanitize all her equipment and wore a mask through the entire process. She also was very professional, caring and helped me video the entire day on my phone during the shoot! I couldn't be happier with her work. I was nervous looking for an engagement/wedding photographer, because everyone said that the photographer is the most important part of the whole process. Your wedding is a whirlwind and you really don't get to enjoy everything as much as you would like, so having a good photographer is key to making sure that you can look back and see all the great moments. That's where Cynthia steps in! Cynthia is super, super responsive and helpful. If you send her an email, she responds within half an hour (yes, I'm impressed as well!). My husband and I are not the most natural people in front of the camera, but Cynthia directed us through our engagement shoot so that we ended up getting some of my very favorite pictures of me through that shoot. On the wedding day, she showed up exactly on time and made sure to take pictures that I didn't think of, and also was in all sorts of poses trying to take great pics of all of us. This is a long overdue review and thank you to Cynthia of the Moment Photo Studio. Four days before I gave birth, I decided I wanted a professional pregnancy/maternity shoot. Cynthia responded promptly with a fair quota and we made an appointment for the next day. Cynthia came to our apartment with all of her equipment to take photos and we also cabbed it to Central Park to take additional photos. Cynthia was pleasant to work with and took the most beautiful photos. She also possessed a good vision of what makes good photography while also listening to what I wanted. There were also some goofball incidents on my behalf (I locked us out of the apartment, had no cab fare to the park because I didn't bring a purse, etc.) and Cynthia was more than patient with me and gracious about the whole thing.=). The photoshoot and results turned out so well that we rehired Cynthia to take photos of our newborn daughter when she was a little over a month old. Cynthia came to our home with all of her equipment and brought little outfits for our baby and dressed her in the outfits/props. Again, beautiful photos of the baby and of the family. We used these photos to make an Introduction card for our baby to send out to our family and friends. Cynthia is wonderful to work with and has a true art and eye for good photography. I would definitely recommend The Moment Photo Studio. I actually did to my friends :) Our pre-wedding photos got tons of compliments! This was definitely our best memory in wedding planning. Cynthia and Lu are both exceptionally nice and professional. They gave a lot of advice before and during the photo shoot. I was from out-of-state and flew in only for the weekend. Everything went so smoothly with their help. Lu was so patient with dress try-ons ( I actually tried more dresses than I did at David's Bridal). She even did a better job with my makeup and hair than the makeup artist for my wedding in my opinion. Lu also helped us a lot with posing and gestures during the photo shoot.
