If you're over in the Palisade area, this is definitely worth a stop…read more I've made the drive to Palisade for Fidel's Cocina & Bar a couple times now, and honestly... it has not disappointed The chips & guac are some of the best around, and the DIP TRIO is a great starter -- black bean hummus, toasted pepita dip, guacamole, and house tortilla chips. Of course I had to add salsa, because... obviously Patti went with the Huevos Rancheros and really liked it Tyler tried the Chile Relleno and said it was the best one he's had in forever -- bold statement, but he's sticking to it. I've had the Chile Relleno too, and I get it. Fresh poblano, Oaxacan cheese, refried black beans, sour cream, pickled onion, cilantro, cotija... just yummy. I also tried the Oaxacan taco and carne asada taco, and both were absolutely on point -- juicy, flavor-packed, and straight-up And yes, Dad's jalapeño sauces are a must. The green and red both add that perfect little kick And a big win--they've got a great selection of gluten-free options (clearly marked), so it's easy to navigate if that matters to you And since it's a Mexican restaurant, I had to partake in a margarita I went with the Pinky -- Dulce Vida Grapefruit Tequila, Naranja, fresh lime juice, and fresh grapefruit juice. Very tasty. Big shoutout to Sasha at the bar super knowledgeable, great vibes, and clearly a fellow GJ foodie with great recommendations. Service has been great all around both times. Solid food, great date night spot, and worth the drive. Just my opinion... don't come at me

They do have a street patio Mezcal and Tequila flights, specialty cocktails highly recommended. The tacos are a la carte, big enough for two to share and they have local sauces to top. Service was fantastic, overall a great place, will definitely return!

Like the many reviews state, this food truck is located at Mesa Mall right in front of the Dicks Sporting Good. I mean once youre at Mesa Mall and you're panicking you can't find it, just give it the mall a good ole round-a-bout you'll find it trust. Enough about logistics and my biscuit history, lets talk Alarado. The biscuits. Whatever you get, you have to try it with the biscuit. Personally went with the sausage, egg & cheese breakfast sandwich with pepper jack and the BISCUIT ofc. There's something surreal about eating a delicious biscuit breakfast sandwich at 7:00 am in the morning when its raining outside. I'm surprised I even got a photo of it before demolishing it. Now underrated co-start is the breakfast burrito. Because my back is big, I also got a chorizo breakfast burrito with green chili. Goodness gracious, that one also was a banger seriously. Biscuit sandwich or burritos are definitely the move I'd say here. Go get your biscuit on.

If you're a breakfast burrito lover (I sure am), this will likely become one of your regulars. They do mini burritos called the "Lil Richard," and a humongous one (good for sharing) called the "Big Richard." Everything's made to order after you walk up; a short wait, but worth it. They use great ingredients like crisp bacon and tater tots, plus they add zesty New Mexico green chile. And each burrito is grilled on the outside with melty, toasted cheese. They serve 'em up with a tangy green salsa. This is a local, family run business, and there's love in the food. They felt like it was hard to find a really great breakfast burrito in GJ, and they deliver it. Their dog is the mascot -- the original Lil Richard. I also like Alarado alot, but these are different, definitely their own thing. Alarado's burritos are a single, standard size and have a good bit of green chile or gravy inside. Lil Richard's has the two sizes and are a bit more savory and less saucy. Both are great in their own right. So swing by on the weekend and order a full-flavored breakfast burrito you won't forget!
