The crowd is super diverse and I think that speaks to the authenticity and quality of food they produce. I've only tried the tacos, however have had friends and seen others order burritos and sopes. It all looks good. Food: The Al pastor tacos are literally my favorite!! They top it with diced pineapple and it's so good. The Barbacoa is equally as authentic and juicy, but I find that in general barbacoa is a bit too strong in flavor for me. That's just a personal preference and I would still recommend this meat to anyone! The carne asada has great flavor although is a bit drier than other options I've tried. The tortillas seriously seem homemade and have never ripped or fallen apart on me. The sautéed onions ontop are unique to this food truck and I appreciate the addition. They also always make sure to give plenty of lime and cilantro which is great. Drinks: I highly recommend their Agua Fresca's which rotate in flavors, but their horchata is delicious and usually available. Definitely a sweet treat that I dream about Check this spot out!

My husband works in Lakeland and has been telling me about this place for years. He couldn't wait to show me because he knew I would fall in love. There's nothing fancy, nothing special but what they do they do it right. I picked up my ingredients to make homemade salsa and some fun goodies and snacks to enjoy. The luncheon counter provides simple options but you'd be missing out if you did not grab some to go. Tacos are fresh, homemade and only $1.60 each. The pork is phenomenal. On Saturdays and Sundays they offer chicken and pork tamales. We grabbed a dozen. There are fresh flour and corn tortillas all wrapped nice and snug in a warm package for you to enjoy. I Will always make it a point to stop by whenever I am in Lakeland or Plant City. Lunch was so good. I feel like we were loaded down with bags and had so many goodies all for just $49.

If you want decent Mexican food for pretty reasonable prices, you'll find that here. Inside it was way smaller than I expected, but it's very cute and cozy. All the staff were really friendly and we had a great experience overall. Honestly, most Mexican/ American restaurants blend together for me. The food is all pretty similar and it's hard for one to stand out. I felt Dona Julia's just sits in with that mix but we still enjoyed it.
