Tacos were amazing! There's nothing else to eat for miles and this did the job. Pricing was very fair.

A lil pride for portion size, but the complimentary chips and salsa and service made up for it! Husband had the birria and I had the California burrito! Our toddler ate up the steak and beef! We will be back! Ambiance is cute! Def a fiesta! Reminds me a lot of taquerias back home in Cali!

However, I did notice a couple of items I don't see frequently at other local Mexican Restaurants: Pupusas and Street Corn. So, I had to order these. A basket of complimentary Chips & Salsa came out before my order arrived. The chips were thick and crisp and the salsa was lightly spicy with a nice tomato flavor. The corn was super juicy and topped with a tangy creamy mayo, crumbly Cotija cheese, and flavorful spicy seasoning. This was an addictive appetizer. The Pupusa de Chicharron had a hearty cornmeal shell which was lightly crisped on the outside. The patty had a rich pork flavor with shredded chicharron and gooey cheese mixed in the patty. The dish was complimented with a side of crisp peppery cabbage. Overall, Taco Fiesta is delicious sport for cheap quality Mexican food in the Lakeland area.

I can't get enough of this place and would recommend anyone to stop by!! The crowd is super diverse and I think that speaks to the authenticity and quality of food they produce. I've only tried the tacos, however have had friends and seen others order burritos and sopes. It all looks good. Food: The Al pastor tacos are literally my favorite!! They top it with diced pineapple and it's so good. The Barbacoa is equally as authentic and juicy, but I find that in general barbacoa is a bit too strong in flavor for me. That's just a personal preference and I would still recommend this meat to anyone! The carne asada has great flavor although is a bit drier than other options I've tried. The tortillas seriously seem homemade and have never ripped or fallen apart on me. The sautéed onions ontop are unique to this food truck and I appreciate the addition. They also always make sure to give plenty of lime and cilantro which is great. Drinks: I highly recommend their Agua Fresca's which rotate in flavors, but their horchata is delicious and usually available. Definitely a sweet treat that I dream about Check this spot out!

I ordered the Shrimp Quesadilla and they changed it and made it a bigger portion for about the same price. The menu was brand new, since our last visit, and it was quite nice. No manager came by, and neither the server nor anyone else offered an apology. At one point, it even felt like our waiter was avoiding our table, chatting with another customer until he noticed me looking towards him and sent someone else to check on the missing meal. The food was wonderful so I'm willing to try again in hopes of having a better experience next time. Edit after original post: After posting this and checking our receipt we did realize that they did comp our appetizer. But it was just very awkward still. A verbal apology would have made it feel more sincere for the mix up.
