I've been to the PacSun at Memorial City Mall several times with my daughters. They like the styles, and the clothes appeal to teens and college-age shoppers, so of course I take them. The quality is generally decent, and tops are reasonably price, although the denim is outrageously expensive for what it is. My chief complaint is that this store is filthy. I mean it is GROSS! There are huge wads of dust everywhere, and they just roll about like tumbleweeds! Dust is floating through the air, collecting in corners, under tables, near fitting rooms--you name it. It's like no one has vacuumed or dusted in years. I realize some of it is probably lint, but it's not just unsightly, it feels unhygienic, and I can't imagine it's a healthy environment for employees or customers. Does this store have a manager? Has the manager seen this? Let's talk about customer service. On our most recent visit, my daughter provided her phone number to get PAC rewards credit at checkout. The woman at the register could not enter a 10-digit phone number. It didn't matter how many times we called it out. It didn't matter how slowly we told her. I am not exaggerating--we repeated our number at least 15 times. At first it was frustrating, then it became awkwardly funny, and eventually it was just concerning. This a basic task to perform her job. There was no language barrier--something else was clearly going on. If that was just an off day, fine. But if this is a regular issue, management (if they exist) really needs to step in and reassign her to another position. To be fair, she was pleasant and seemed like a nice person. About an hour after we made the purchase, we went back because my daughter wanted something she had put back. A young guy helped us that time and entered the phone number on the first try with zero issues. So clearly, it can be done. PacSun at Memorial City Mall needs some serious intervention. read more

I wish I could give 0 stars for customer service. Don't even bother coming to this location. None of the employees are helpful. I had placed an online order in the morning and she said you can look for it and I let her know that I didn't find it and she said well then we don't have it. So then I looked at her and was like sooo can we cancel it because you don't have it and she was like okay. I was going to buy something else but after the interaction I didn't even bother spending my money there again. read more

Waited in line for ten minutes to checkout. there was one cashier helping a lady who was not even making a purchase just asking general mall questions. An older black employee was just standing around the register watching the line grow and flat out said "I'm not doing that" to helping on register. wtf??? and then we finally make it up and we can't even use our coupons after showing the cashier. my birthday is in less than two weeks and I showed him my $5 off coupon four times for him to say I couldn't use it until my birthday. then why the fuck was it sent out on June 1st if I can't use it until specific June dates?? horrible experience overall, extremely unfriendly and unprofessional staff. read more

I can see why this location has such low ratings. Ordered online for pick up and it's been 2 days, I've received no notification from them that it's ready. If it's in stock and already at the store, I don't see why it wasn't ready within the next day. Seeing as I haven't heard from them, I've called multiple times just for it to go to an automated machine. Thanks! read more

I don't know what happened to Pac Sun but I remember it being way cooler than it is now. I went in here thinking I'd find some skater-esqe apparel. Instead all I found was really crisp clean and bright clothing. This isn't so much a rating about the actual store (it was clean an the guys working there seemed cool) as it is a commentary on the chain in general. If you like Pac Sun's super preppy feel now then this is probably an okay location. Me on the other hand... I walked out and straight in to Zumiez and felt like I was in Pac Sun circa 2000 and I felt much better. read more

I warn you do not order anything online for in store pick up at this location!!! They are unorganized and don't know what they're doing. I order something for pick up and online it was in stock. I paid online. The next day there was no update regarding my order so I called the store. At first I was told that the swimsuit I ordered was not in store at all and then they said we found it and we will put it on hold for you. I was confused because their online pick system doesn't seem right. If you have someone pay for an order why don't they find the items and have it ready right away??? I had to call and ask for the item. About 30 minutes later they canceled my order. I called again. And a new employee told me they do have the item BUT I have to come in the store and pay again. This wouldn't have been a problem but I paid online to use Afterpay which they don't have in the store. So bottom line don't trust their online pick up service they're incompetent and disorganized. read more

Terrible customer service, I went to buy a t shirt and the general manger was racist , called mall security because she didn't want me in the store because I asked for here district managers info and hers and . I'm now reporting her to the mall management and I've contacted their corporate office . Nobody should receive that treatment especially when they never throughout the whole situation act out of character after buying a product from their store be told that "This isn't a charity" . Will never shop their again and I suggest nobody else that's a firm believer in equal rights should to , FYI I WORK FOR A LARGE COMPANY INSIDE OF THIS MALL. I went to pacsun maybe like 3 weeks ago. I work at the outlets in cypress so i know how retail works. I came in because i just wanted to buy some vans. And i asked this cute young girl named Jacky and she kindly went back and checked but they didnt have my size. Which is fine but whatever. Then i asked a guy if they had a cool guess sweater in another size and he didnt even go to the back to check. So i went up to the girl who helped me, and asked and she grabbed the sweater and was barely turning around to head to the back room, and before she could, that one kid was like, nahh we dont have those anymore. This got me mad because he didnt even let her go back and check. Luckily, Jacky was nice to me and my boy. I asked her who the manager was and she said it was him! The same idiot who did nothing to help me!!!! I asked her what his name was and she said Sal. What kind of name is that WTF. He needs to get retrained or something because that boy was fucking rude. read more

AWFUL SERVICE. Went in today to buy a pair of adidas shoes I saw on display in the front. Asked for a size 9 in women's size, gave us a size 9 in mens size. No big deal just asked for it again but a men's 7 1/2, after 3 employees trying to help us get the shoe in the right size, finally got it. The employees seemed to think we weren't going to buy the shoe because didn't even give us the second shoe or the box. After we said we were going to purchase at the register it took them another 10 minutes to realize we wanted to buy the shoe. Throughout this entire process they kept talking and flirting wth each other and did not pay attention to the customers. For example, we were standing at the register while the employee was typing in the number of the item while his friend, another employee, kept yelling at him across the store about how so and so was breaking up with so and so. Overall finally purchased the item, will not be returning to this store because of the unprofessionalism that took place. read more

One star is too high of a rating for this Pacsun location. Purchased an Obey sweatshirt for a Christmas gift. Changed my mind about the purchase. Went to return it today and was given tons of pressure about wanting to return it. The clerk (I think he's the manager) finally picked up the sweatshirt from the counter and looked at it as if it was soiled. The tags were still on it!!! He then argued with me about my reason for returning it. Then he asked if I wanted to exchange it for another item. I said no. He then mentioned that their flannels were 50% off. I again said no. He finally started the return transaction, but stopped, and AGAIN asked if I was sure I didn't want to shop for something else. I AGAIN SAID NO! As the returned item was scanned, I figured out the issue...I was returning the item for full refund ($64.95) and it was now on sale for $34.95. I realize that sales maybe down due to the economy, but GEEZ...by the time I left the store I was so angry about how hard the clerk made the return process, I know for sure I will never ever shop at a Pacsun again!!!
