Immediately my nerves were calmed by their professionalism and kindness. Directions were clear and easy to follow. I was treated with the respect I brought to the experience. As I worked my way through the guns on my list the guys in the range checked in about what I thought. After firing a few he inquired what the purpose of my gun is and I explained it is home defense. Maybe concealed carry at some point. He suggested a gun not on my list and I gave it a try. I fell in love and ordered the gun! Excited to get it next week! I'll likely take a class here at some point. I can't recommend Safefire enough!!!

I am former military, but terribly out of practice when it comes to weapons and took the opportunity to join my wife and daughter in a refresher course. The three of us took Firearms for Absolute Beginners with Alex and were incredibly pleased with the results. We spent four full hours combing through the basics. He walked us through how semi automatic pistols and revolvers work, showed us how bullets work, gave us a fantastic lesson on the different calibers and types, and we spent almost an hour, practicing loading and unloading weapons safely. My wife went from being a nervous wreck to being relaxed and comfortable around a handgun, and my daughters confidence grew tenfold. I picked up some terrific tips for proper stance and grip, which showed immediate results on the range. The following day I practiced with my 9mm and noticed a significant improve in my shot group. If you're new to handguns or just need a refresher course so that you can get comfortable with them again, I strongly recommend Jones firearm training. Alex was infinitely patient with our silly questions and helped foster a comfortable atmosphere where the entire family was able to learn.

I was in Tigard so I just googled ranges near me and, a few came up. After checking their website it was the perfect place to shoot my new baby. I only had an hour to shoot but, I'll definitely will back to shoot soon not later. I would highly suggest visiting their website so you are aware of the policies, regulations, and fees. Service~We were greeted immediately with a smile and, real professionalism. Being it was our first time the owner puts you on a tablets (to left by the vending machines). You start the registration, answer a few (legal) personal questions, and watch a safety video (takes about 10-15 minutes). Once that's completed you go get your target sheets, someone will explain the target pad and, how to reach a staff member (in case of emergency or questions). Also (I have my own) but, they will provided you with safety glasses, ear muffs, and safety clips for the barrel. Ambiance~The vibes are amazing (It was only 3 other people and, a private one on one instructor class). I am not sure how it is when all 9 lanes are occupied but, I like it better when it's quiet. Restroom are clean (main building and, before entering the range it's a set). It's plenty of parking but, I highly recommend coming here if you love to shoot like we do. I personally plan to take a few classes w/ Jermey (I want to be an expert shooter and, be able to draw from my holster). This beautiful shooting range has been in business for 12 years and, it so clean and very well maintained. My husband and I plan to sign up for the household membership package!

Top notch! Professionals that you can learn from! Very engaging…read more Excellent program! Two females went to a basic hand pistol 101 class with James as an instructor. The company has a total of 7 instructors. It was a 2hr class that he graciously went over about 30 minutes to fully brief us on what he knows are important to know as our goal was basic handling and safety. James was very thorough, pleasant and direct with his intentions of what beginners with no formal experience should know. We didn't expect the level of knowledge and hands on that we got today. We even got to do a "fitting" to ensure which type of handgun would work best for us as individuals. We recommend this company for any beginners to take as their main concern is safety and to give you the tools necessary to safely operate a handgun. Or a novice trying to scale up. We also have two other scheduled classes with them in the next coming months and I am excited to be with professionals who are there to teach at your pace, correct where necessary and reinforce good practices. I attended their NGO, FSA, 3Ms, and SISR classes in 2024. Prior to this I attended a CC class at a…read morelocal big box store. I highly recommend their training over a corporate outlet. Christian is extremely well qualified and experienced and as an educator I can attest to his tact, knowledge and presentation skills. Christian also stresses safe practices both in class and on range. After a year of travel I took the Private Shooting Instruction and came away much more confident in my classroom learnings as well as familiarity with pistol malfunctions and manipulations. I plan to take more classes and continue range training as often as possible.
