Called PAC West during the recent freeze because we had a bursted water pipe. Took Justin a few days to get back to me (which was expected because I'm sure he was inundated with calls!) however, once he did, he was extremely knowledgeable over the phone and schedule a time frame to visit. Once it came close to that time frame on the day of the job, Justin notified me a more specific window where he'd arrive. Showed up right on time and jumped right in! Justin was exceptional with explaining what he saw, a couple different remediation choices for the busted pipe, and what I should do to try and help mitigate the chances of another bursted pipe. PacWest was the perfect solution to our master bath problem! Our built-in corner tub started to leak, so we had to move our Spring 2016 master bath remodel to Winter 2015. Our redesign included moving existing tub plumbing, as well as expanding our current separate shower and moving its plumbing. Rough-in plumbing was beyond the scope of our DIY experience, and that's when we called Justin McNally and PacWest Services. Justin worked with our homemade design plan and timeline in a professional (and friendly) way. After our demo, he and Aaron got to work moving drains, vent pipes, water lines, and shut-off valves. They also replaced and patched drywall superbly. Justin reframed the shower (with niches and added framing for handrails), shower curb, and installed a Hydro Blok system to prep for our DIY tile installation. He also plumbed the rough-in for our shower system with an 8 inch head and handheld sprayer. Justin and Aaron did a great job with our remodel. They cleaned up after themselves each day and took great care of the living areas beyond their worksite. Justin provided a fair cost estimate with detailed scope of work and invoices that met our expectations. He was able to work within our flexible timeline, and always arrived when he said he would. They both worked a full day, diligently, and treated us in a personable and friendly way. It's not easy finding good help, so it was amazing that we found PacWest. All the positive reviews prob freak people out but seriously, they're the real deal. I needed some plumbing services done at my house and called several different plumbers around but PacWest was bar far the best. Other companies tried pressuring me into making appointments immediately or wouldn't provide me any type of rough quote unless I paid them $100 bucks to come out, where they would reiterate that the cost would count toward the cost of the fix. That's a lose lose situation of time and money. The PacWest folks though, had me send them pictures to assess the situation and gave me details of what the situation was and what needed to be done with a fair price. What makes this even more amazing is that you don't have a random plumber coming over to see the situation for the first time and then realizing they can't get the part (Rotor rooters did this to us and had us wait for 3 weeks - we ended up canceling and finding the part on our own in a few days). We got help fixing something in our shower and also the kitchen disposal with the piping replaced. They did an amazing job and cleaned everything after, leaving it like they were never there. The quality was also great and Eric made sure to triple check all his work before he left. Also, I love working with down to earth people, so that made everything so much better. When it comes to people delivering services to your home or business like plumber, electrician, handymen, etc - the biggest thing is trust. Trust in the work that needed to be done, trust in the work completed, and trust in the amount charged. Like all other yelp reviews, there is some skepticism if the review is overwhelmingly positive - but PacWest helped us out when we needed a faucet and an old sink replaced. The work was completed and everything was fine except for one thing - we didn't like the new eyewash eyelet and insisted on the old one be put back. The new eyewash eyelet was included in the estimate and we have already paid for it. Initially, I thought I would just put the eyewash eyelet for sale on ebay or amazon.com - but I discovered that the model is usually sold via wholesaler for commercial plumbers to install... so it's really hard to sell an opened one. So, I contacted PacWest and said, "Hey, can I return this eyelet?" Long story short, PacWest got me the refund for the eyelet and sent a check back for the full amount. I personally had forgotten about the eyelet after just a week or two - but I didn't have to call them repeatedly, I didn't harass them. I asked, returned the part, and they did as they said they would. There was wait for the work I needed done but that's because the work was non-urgent and the sink had to be specially ordered. But they arrived on schedule on the date and time that they said they would - can't ask more than that! On another matter - I was installing a gas BBQ at my home porch and couldn't get the gasket off with the pliers and wrenches I got. I was resigned to not being able to pop it open and wanted PacWest to come install my gas BBQ for me. I sent them a text asking for help, and they said they can schedule me a time, but suggested a couple of special wrenches that would work. I borrowed from neighbor and got myself set up that night. Wouldn't have happened without some helpful advice from PacWest. Anyways - I highly recommend PacWest. I think they're solid in what they do and will use them for all my plumbing needs in the future - whether it's commercial or residential. read more

We called Justin on the referral of another friend (who also had a full kitchen remodel and was a satisfied customer) to get an estimate on rough-in for our new kitchen and to install a couple of new toilets. He showed up on time and got a bid back to us that evening. He was very detailed in his explanation of work to complete, gave us options for installation of the ice-maker and the overflow for the dishwasher, gas line, etc. We asked his opinion several times and are thrilled we took his suggestions. On rough-in day, they arrived and got to work. They cleaned up after themselves, when one of the toilets I ordered had a broken part, that was taken care of and I learned that it is best (and often less expensive) to just buy through a plumber rather than on-line! The work was impressive and Justin clearly explained everything he did. Our toilets were beautifully installed with no mess left over whatsoever. Justin came back to install our fridge, faucet, range and dishwasher. Once again, he did an incredible job and put up with us chatting with him while he worked. Justin came on short notice to replace our standard toilets with elevated ones. He was very pleasant and informed, as well as informative. He explained his work and answered my questions. Since the toilets had to be installed on a marble surface, even with his good care there were some scratches. Justin dutifully pointed them out to me but we don't blame him. Marble is a poor surface for a bathroom floor and the little scratches hardly show. Justin worked efficiently and charged a reasonable price, including for the time he spent picking up the new toilets at the supplier's warehouse. Since I want to hire him for some future work, he took a moment to look at those jobs and gave me good advice about steps that I will need to take.
