I contacted Reshmi asking for a new cake, he/she refused, insisted it was the hotel's mistake and not their driver's, and that they'll send a driver to pick up the cake. I asked them not to send anyone, to just issue a refund and that the hotel will try to salvage the cake, given that the event was that same evening and I didn't have enough time to search for other options. Reshmi refused and said they'll not provide a refund unless the cake was collected and "in the same condition as in the photo". Their customer care is just non existent, it was like dealing with an angry child who just wanted to make sure you don't have any viable options for your event. Thankfully 'Cakestreet' rose to the occasion and we ended up with a tasty cake that had a much better theme design. My advice to Anges is to ensure you prioritise your customers over your ego. Zero customer care.

Are you in need of a place where you can both indulge in a delicious Middle-Eastern wrap and…read morebreast-feed your baby? - Well, then you should come to Phoenicia! Phoenicia is a lot: it's a supermarket, a butcher, a quick-lunch place, as well as a place where you can come to and have a lovely chat with a friend while eating away at their delicious selection of baklava. As for the wraps/sandwiches, there are basically two choices: the Lebanese wrap (a plain flat-bread wrap) or the Moroccan wrap (a flat-bread with spinach inside). Once you've made this difficult choice, you have to make more choices...you can fill your wrap with salads (such as tabbouleh), spreads (such as humous) and meats (such as spicy chicken or merguez). But, if you don't want to choose, you might as well order two kinds of wraps as the prices of one is very reasonable. Later, you may want to top it all off with a nice baklava, which you might even get for free if you're really nice. In fact, speaking of nice, the service here is super-friendly. Everyone is very polite and they bring your food to the table... After your lunch (or whatever you've had) you should go check out their supermarket...you will basically find here anything you need. They also have a very nice selection of organic products.
So much stuff!

The cakes were made beautifully and delivered promptly! They were moist and delicious and the logos were perfectly executed. This was an excellent customer experience. The Bakehouse was organized, professional, and very pleasant to work with. We had a lot of changes and red tape and Mary Lou was just wonderful throughout the process. I have recommended that our London office use Mary Lou's Bakehouse for our future corporate event needs in the UK.
