went today for pizza and drinks.. first drink an inedible margarita... all sour nothing else ... told bartender i couldn't drink it .. ok got a vodka tonic ( weak but edible) pizza was really good ! pizza side very nice ! get the bill margarita is on it .. i ask your charging me for a drink i could not drink? she said yes its policy.. hell no get me a manager .. they aren't here! so call them!!! i've been in the service industry for 40 years... no way !!! she then took the drink off... too little too late will never return!! sorry for the pizza side you loose because of her and policy read more

It's alittle dark inside of this college pub hangout but it's a great pub and a lot of the college kids go there as they have a place that attaches to their location that has pizza and quick food to eat. Highly recommend ed as well. They also have Karaoke on Friday nights for the kids to do. I was sampling the Sun Cruiser lemonade and ice tea vodka products. Prices are very good as they had them for $6 a can. The bartender service was right on. read more

If you called Paddy's a neighborhood joint or even a college bar you'd be selling them short even though they are technically both. Paddy's could hold it's own, dare I say, anywhere. It starts with the staff; on a recent Friday night they were well staffed with polite professional folks. There were probably four or five guys working as security and lending a hand clearing tables or bottles and glasses along with three bartenders. As far as I know there was no wait service; not really necessary with an approachable bar. Again they may have been there, I just didn't notice. The most important thing to know about Paddy's is you need your ID. They will check (and scan) it regardless of how old you look, act, or smell. The second most important thing to know about Paddy's is that they are attached (have a common entrance) to Peppa's Pizza. They have THE best pizza in the area when I'm sober. This is generally a really great Irish pub. My favorite nights here are Sunday's- not too busy and most importantly, not too many wneu kids. They've got a HUGE variety of local draft craft beers, which is truly awesome! The prices are great- really can't be beat, around $4 for local drafts. Also, they've got a great Irish whiskey selection. The bartenders are attentive and quick. The Sunday night bartender (my memory's failing- forgot her name) is my absolute favorite. Great personality and she always remembers me (now I feel bad). But honestly the best part?? Peppas is attached. Whiskey, beer, and pizza? YES. My only complaint is that some nights it gets packed with college kids and I'm not a higher fan of that. Other wise great! read more

This bar is always pretty clean and friendly bartenders. A big plus is they use chilled glasses, which is always a win in my book. Beer selection is decent, I think they have around 15 drafts. No food served, but pizza is available next door which you can eat in the bar. Prices are average for this area. read more

As I continue on my quest to find a decent Bar in Western, MA this one has been the best so far. I went there on the night before Easter so there was not many WNEC students there (maybe thats why I liked it). I'm a huge hockey fan and it is hard to find the Bruins, let alone other teams on TV at a lot of bars, not here though. We walked in and on most of the TV's was the BU vs. Miami (OH) Frozen Four . After that finished, I expected a random basketball game or baseball game to appear on the TV's. But to my absolute amazement, they put on Calgary vs. Edmonton. I knew then and there, this would be my go to place when I am home. read more

The positives here are a great beer selection, number and size of flatscreens, prices, atmosphere, awesome jukebox, and an open wall connecting to Peppa's pizza next door. The only real negatives are the lack of pub food, the fairly constant tap list, and sometimes the music selection (to be expected). Overall the taplist is worth it if you like to mix it up past the regular light beers. It's a college bar but has something to please everyone. Where else can you get a tub of Natty Ice and a Stone Arrogant Bastard on tap? Other good selections are Berkshire, Dogfish, Bear Republic, Wormtown, 21st Amendment. read more

If I could rate this place a 0 I would, that is how horrific my experiences were. Not only are the staff extremely slow, but they were also extremely mean to people of color. Specific instances of pushing around and looking down on certain groups of international college students, by the bouncers. Extremely disgusted by the obvious discrimination, and NEVER coming to this disgraceful place again. Also, who they dont know how to serve a good draft either, where's the the foam?!?! read more

I've been here a couple times long waits have been an issue but my main reason for the one star is they took it upon themselves to not serve a WNE student because that student called out on of their workers on facebook for posting on instagram a picture celebrating cinco de mayo but saying they were happy that trump did not buld the wall yet. This was my first time at Paddy's Irish Pub and it was great! All of the bartenders were super friendly, especially our bartender Shannon. Ordered the Patron Seltzer bucket which was great; it did its job. Will definitely be back next time I'm in Springfield! read more

I don't get it. I really don't think I'm THAT much a jaded New Yorker but what is the big deal? It's a hockey bar/ college bar in a shopping center at a sketchyyyyy part of town. No bar food, just a big room with tv's all around for the games. The drink selection is typical and fairly cheap. Nothing at all stood out; the atmosphere was neither awful nor positively memorable. read more

It's an ok place mostly for the young college crowd. When a bar that has a generally young crowd I tend to stay away from any liquor as it's most likely been watered down quite a bit. Nice place to hang out with a decent pizza spot next door. 21-35 crowd would be it. Anyone in a higher age group would probably not enjoy themselves much here as it can get a bit rowdy. read more

This bar is awesome. Hands down. And placed perfectly next to an awesome pizza shop. Even better. The atmosphere is very clean and trendy sports bar-ish. The floors were even recently redone. If I could give this place no stars, I would. I am highly disappointed in the staff of this place of employment. I was there tonight and experienced a very unfortunate event. I was complemented on my fur jacket to only then be spat on by an employee that was not on the clock. I watched her as she sipped her drink and spat her beer towards me and my friend. We stepped away from the situation to only be spat at again. As a customer who comes to this establishment to have a good time it is absolutely disgusting that I am being spat on by an employee of this business. read more

Great beer selection, Great atmosphere... I go to paddys usually every week for a quick bite to eat and a couple beers. The staff are extremely nice and the play is really clean for a bar. If your in town looking for a cool place to stop by I'd recommend this bar. read more

Great local bar, usually a younger crowd on the weekend with WNEU so close by. Love that you can grab pizza slices from Peppas next door and eat them in the bar. Always has a good selection of beers on tap! Trivia nights, drink specials....always a good experience! read more

I went here to have a beer and watch football with some friends and my completely valid I.D failed the machine. I asked for it to be tried again, seeing as it was not fake by any means, and was refused. It was pretty embarrassing having to do the walk of shame out as if had just been caught with a fake and very inconvenient to have to locate to a different bar. I found out later the same thing happened to a friend the week prior. Please consider checking out or updating whatever machine you're using. read more

College bar that can be very crowded at times. The draft beer is the worst I've ever had, I'd venture to guess the lines have never been cleaned. The top shelf liquor is refilled with well alcohol. I'm sure most of their younger clientele doesn't realize this. If you're just looking for a younger crowd and bud light it's great, but don't expect anything more. read more

Hockey bar...learned this the hard way trying to watch UCONN vs Butler NCAA basketball championship game only on 1 tv and on mute because the Bruins were on. The prices are cheap, because of college students. Peppas Express pizza is next door for food. Overall bar is tacky, dirty bathrooms, uncomfortable wooden stools, etc. Better off going across the street to Sophias for a slightly more upscale bar with similar prices and better food. read more

Went there Thursday with some people after work. Asked the bartender for a "Manhattan". She said they don't have the ingredients to to make one. Okay, not the bartenders fault. Okay, call me biased but after being at McCaffery's my normal 5 star rating for Paddy's is at least 5.5 or 6. Kyle at the door and Audra behind bar are awesome! My black and tan is delicious and Audrey has already given us suggestions of other newbie items we might enjoy.
