Oh my oh my. This is a cute little shop. No one spoke to us so I can't say anything about customer service. Prices are about right for a gift shop, I didn't see anything overpriced for sure. They have a wide variety of different items. Some super cute, well it's all probably cute to someone or they wouldn't have them to sell. There was quite a few things with out of order signs . The bathroom was not clean and don't have a working paper towel holder so you have to touch the roll. Womens is outside down a stairs. Men's is outside on the other side of the whole building. I went to the family bathroom inside in the back. It's. A little hidden behind a snack are that has hot chocolate, homemade fudge and Buffalo burgers. Make sure you go see the views all around Lookout mountain. Just a little easy hike up a trail to the Grave of Buffalo Bill and his wife. Oops had to do a quick update. The customer service was not good and even though I didn't pay attention my girls all said the guy was very short with them and they all felt uncomfortable. Excellent Addition to the Buffalo Bill Grave and Museum While on a visit to Buffalo Bill's Grave and Museum, I had the chance to shop into the Pahaska Teepee Gift Shop and Cafe. I t was a sunny and cool day and after seeing the Gravesite and the Museum, I wanted to pick up some souvenirs and grab a quick bite. You can find so many things here at the gift shop, they have a vast array of jewellery including turquoise, and other Native American themed jewelry. There are the usual touristy items like t-shirts, mugs, dinnerware, spoons, other types of clothing, and they have a Fudge stand, serve sandwiches and coffee. If you're at the Buffalo Bill Museum and Grave, you have to stop in and check out the gift shop. read more

first let me start by saying the view is beautiful and the gift shop has some great stuff! But by god the people that own the place are awful. i tried to order a bottle of root beer and the lady behind the counter hands me a cup of root beer. Not to mention it didn't even have ice. I said oh i wanted a bottle and she said well that's not what you ordered. First off if your going to have multiple options for the form in which i am trying to buy something at least ask me to make sure i get the right thing. i then asked how much the bottle was verses the cup and she said same price. she refused to give me the bottle even tho that's what i thought i was paying for. i mean they are the same price. i left with nothing because i did not want the cup. later my dad walked back in there politely to ask for the bottle since i left with nothing. immediately this fossil of a man started yelling at us to get out and that they heard about us. please i would like to know what he heard because i was nothing but civilized. he threatens to call the cops. so in tern i grab a bottle of root beer and leave because that's what i payed for. we even gave him $5 for it so he would leave us alone. mind you it was only $3. so we gave these people $8 for a bottle of root beer AND I TIPPED THEM. After all that they still called the cops and they continued to bicker about it even after we were outside and had payed extra for it. i will NEVER be returning and i will make sure to let my friends, family, and social media know about this experience. read more

What a wonderful place! And did you know that The Buffalo Bill Museum, Grave, Gift Shop & Cafe was ranked by the local Denver Post as one of the top ten tourist attractions in the Denver metro area? The Cafe was proclaimed by Westword (Denver's News and Arts Weekly) to have "the best view from a coffee shop in 1989." Stopped by this past week and was so awed by how authentic this quaint gift shop was. At first I was a little pissed off at Buffalo Bill, when I read about him & realized this man killed almost 5,000 buffalo--hence his nickname. But later in life, this great Wild West man had a revelation and realized his merciless desecration of these magnificent animals had rendered the nearly extinct on the plains. To Buffalo Bill's credit, he started a protected herd in the area. Buffalo Bill was an amazing man. He really was a very colorful character and seemed to fancy Lookout Mountain probably because you can look out from this mountain and see everything and everywhere. When I was up there, I could see a fire several counties away burning. No wonder this great frontier man wanted his final resting place (along with his wife) up there. The gift shop is sweet with lots of western things any self-respecting cowboy or cowgirl would love. Stetson hats, t-shirts, selfie sticks, kiddie law enforcement badges and other unique souvenirs. There are lots of things for any Buffalo Bill Cody aficionado. The Cafe & Gift Shop is open every day of the year from 9 a.m until dusk. While visiting Denver, it is well worth the drive to Golden and Lookout Mountain to revel in the authentic Old West atmosphere and shop the plethora of gifts available for that Wild West lover in your life. 5 YELP STARS! read more

Staff were super friendly and followed covid precautions without complaint. HUGE selection of shirts, hoodies, hats, trinkets, branded odds and ends. I'd only hoped the selection of branded hats would've been bigger, but can't complain. DO NOT leave this place without getting 1 or 5 of their huckleberry merlot chocolate bars! Worth every penny of the $6, I promise!! read more

I forgot my $27 bag of souvenirs in the restroom. I was very upset as I had no car & had no way of going back to retrieve my lost items.
