My husband flew out for showings in January and she took him out in snowstorms for 2 full days since he couldn't reschedule for better weather. When he found a home he loved, she went to work trying to make everything come together for us. There was much back and forth because a developer was also interested in the property. Tara worked tirelessly on the deal and communicated with us frequently, sometimes multiple times a day. When our offer was finally accepted, she kept calling, making sure that everything was going well as we made our way to closing. Everyone she recommended to us was fantastic. She has a great network. I flew out to sign and what a delight to meet her in person! Tara is warm, friendly, detail-oriented, and a great communicator. We went to the walk through and she was great at finding things we hadn't noticed and getting the information we needed to make a sound decision. At the signing she made sure I had everything I needed. And afterwards we walked over to Cape-abilities, a charitable thrift store to look for furnishings, and then over to her office to meet her father whom she works with. She even gave us a lovely old table and chairs from storage at her home. I've lived here for 2 years and while the first year was good, we have experienced issues like this one after another over the last 6 months. I'd encourage you to ask other residents and they'll confirm the same issues with JMC & Co, the management company. Example 2: The grills have been out of service for 4 months (April 17 - today). Ask yourself how any management company would let this happen? Example 3: JMC & Co has cut costs by eliminating the promised on-site emergency maintenance personnel. Instead they have one individual on call for properties located between Boston, Plymouth, and Providence. If you're locked out at 10pm and are second in line you'll be waiting hours to be let back into your apartment. This happens regularly. Don't rent here until you get something in writing in your lease about hot water downtime and on site emergency personnel. The prices are way too high for what you get. I feel because we were in New Seabury, that the cleaners are charing 50 an hour where 4 cleaners were needed to clean a small condo, are you kidding me???. I own a 3K square foot home in Mashpee where I only get charged 180 for the entire house. Don't get ripped off!! Secondly I went to submit a partial payment against my bill, where unknown to me they took my credit card to pay the entire bill without letting me know.
