From the minute we entered the ER until discharge today, the staff was attentive, friendly, educated, informative, and personable. They took time to answer all the questions we had which were many. They made sure that we were always taken care of, always asking what we needed. We felt like we were VIPs and we wanted for nothing...well except better fold-out cots for the family to sleep on, but considering my husband's life was at stake, that even was not enough to complain about. There's Nurse Bob who went over and above every step of the way. Dr Lee was wonderful and spent so much time with us instead of rushing off to do something else. The food was very good especially as far as hospital food goes. Even those that came in to take vitals or clean or bring our food, everyone was upbeat and polite. But I really enjoyed more than anything else was that every day began with a prayer for staff and patients! Of you have to be in a hospital, this one is a great choice. The doctors were attentive and did not make you wait hours and hours to do things or to talk to you or to follow through with tests. I just can't say enough good things about this hospital!

When I found out I ask why had I not been told? No response. I ask what I could do to make it better and was told, "nothing." I ask for a referral to a kidney doctor and was told, "no." They have never talked to me about my CKD, never told me what to expect in the way of symptoms and never explained the different stages. I HATE changing doctors but I will never go back to this clinic. I need a doctor that is going to make my health a priority and work with me to help make it better, keeping me informed every step of the way and is not afraid to refer me when I ask. This clinic is not that!

I'm 85 years old and I have only been contacted by a Doctors office to learn how I was doing. I don't mean by some electronic survey but by an individual. It should be noted this wasn't a follow-up of a visit which the details of how they determined I was ill is of little importance. What is noted is I was called on a Friday before a three day holiday weekend to insure I would be good as the office would be closed. Hearing my cough the young woman (I think her name was Tisa) insisted that I should be seen. She insisted on somehow working me in before the day was out. Fortunately she worked me into their busy schedules that afternoon. I am so impressed with WellMed and their dedication to my well being for going well beyond the basics.

They also have classes for free if you deliver there, and three lactation consultants that you can meet with anytime, before, during, or after pregnancy. We had such a wonderful experience, which made our birth perfect. We had a long labor, and I was trying to go all natural (ouch, yes) and out nurses were so open to all the different coping techniques we wanted to use. We wasn't a nurse we didn't like, they were all so friendly and informative. Being my first baby we had so many questions and they were honest and open with us! I honestly don't think I could have enjoyed my labor if it wasn't for Robyn, Ali, and Deb. They were so amazing. We got to go home early and I told my husband a part of me would love to go back and re experience all of it. I'm lucky that I wouldn't have changed anything about that special day!

You call and you are on hold forever. Then when you do finally talk to someone they #1 don't care or #2 they don't care! I just saw my doctor maybe 3 weeks ago, right before he left. I did my due diligence as a patient. On 01/07 I requested a refill until I can establish a new doctor, they denied it unless I made an appt. They scheduled an appointment 2 weeks out mind you and approved the refill only to deny it the next day. So because of their incompetence and lack of caring, I now have to go without my medication until I find my doctor. I take this medication because I need it!!! This place doesn't care about you, your family or your health. GREED!!! That's all it is............So if you've had a bad experience with this group as well, Please take the time to write a review. Because it matters!! Maybe increase the pay at PAK Medical and things might get better.

Physician Asst Tim Metcalf was working and attended to me. I had an eye issue where my eye was in pain and closing. One's eyesight is so important that I decided to seek immediate help. The problem was that is was a holiday. Fortunately, this urgent care was open. Physician Asst Metcalf immediately diagnosed the issue, wrote a prescription for an eye ointment, and related it would clear up in a few days. It actually did. I would return here, being pleased with the intake paperwork, intake staff, and CERTAINTY Tim Metcalf.

Even after moving to Austin, I continue to make the drive back and forth to San Marcos just so my son can remain in her care. That's how much she means to us. Her presence, her heart, and her dedication are irreplaceable. From the very beginning, Dr. Fischer has made it her mission to care not only for my son but for me as a mother. That kind of care is rare. I'll never forget one visit when my son was still a baby--I was sitting in the room, completely overwhelmed and silently crying. When Dr. Fischer walked in and saw me, she didn't hesitate--she came over, gave me the warmest hug, and comforted me like she had known exactly what I was feeling. It was a moment of kindness I will never forget. She listens--truly listens. She validates my concerns, never makes me feel inadequate, and gives reassurance in the most compassionate way. There's no condescending advice or rushed appointments--just warmth, gentleness, and care. My son gravitates to her, and it's no surprise. She's so loving, patient, and thoughtful.
