I'm a little surprised this place hasn't been reviewed! This paintball joint over by the Fairgrounds is very group friendly, has 5 fields, and a very helpful staff for newbies who had no idea what the hell they were getting themselves into. Just as most businesses, give them a heads up you plan to bring a party larger than 6 or so, because that way they can prep for you. I do have to commend the owner (ar at least the guy who appeared to be the owner, with being so approachable and concerned with your experience). They do take safety quite seriously and as a petite woman playing with with giant sized men, I appreciate that. They do leagues here and even a youth-league, so if you're looking for something to increase the hand-eye coordination and teamwork of your child, why not check this out? As I stated in my quick tip, when you turn into BMX Lane, go down that road at least a quarter-mile and then you'll see the fields. Last bit, parking is kinda funky and undefined. Just be prepared to be a bit creative, and try to not park too close to some fields because your car may leave with some very bright neon colors (that do rinse off very easily). read more

This was my first time with paintball, ever. I have been meaning to go for quite some time but one way or another, never made it. This place is located off of 50, near the fairgrounds. As I initially entered the place, I was a bit hesitant as the man behind the counter seemed a bit standoffish... but everyone was actually friendly. You can expect to pay : 32.95 for the full price with tax, this includes the air, gun, 500 paintballs, mask.. I only played on two of the fields, the "Church" and the other smaller field. Wear some longer layers to protect yourself. Luckily, it was a bit cloudy/windy, so it was easier to stay cool. I went with a group of 7, and one of the staff members "Chris" was very helpful. We all were newbies and got the gist of it pretty quickly. At one point we even played against another group of 7, and that was an awesome time. If you're looking for something active and different to do, check this place out. You will have a great time!! Also, they offer deals such as discounted Fridays. I saw some other deals listed on their Facebook page (after I had already went earlier and paid full price). I have been playing for over 10 years, and for the price and location, Paintball world is Great. The usual price for entry and box of paint is $60, but they usually have specials depending on the day. They have multiple fields, but they do not have a speed ball field. Thus, it is a great place to play rec ball. A typical Saturday probably sees up to 200 players and even more on certain holidays. The only reason I have giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the refs do not go on the field. read more

I am "on the fence" with regards to Paintball World. This past Saturday 2/11/12 I took a group of 14 people with me for my 5th visit. The place was packed which was okay however the parking situation was a bit crazy, as the previous poster mentioned, parking was undefined. I am a bit upset to report that although I made a reservation and clearly outlined exactly how many people had their own equipment and who did not everyone was charged full price which we were not very happy about. As far as the owner, he was no where to be found. We enjoyed all 5 fields however the speed ball/X-Ball field and the field adjacent could be kept a bit cleaner. The entrances to these fields are muddy and dangerous. There was only one Chrono working out of 3 that I know off. The younger referees,when they are actually around, are very rude and arrogant. Recommend a bit of customer service training. The inside of the "office" could be a bit cleaner and more inviting. The bathroom, horrible... The common areas need work... I am glad to report that you can take your paintball marker here for repair and they will repair it at a reasonable price, i have taken my NXT Shocker here for repair and plan on taking a few other markers as well. Over all I would give Paintball World a (B -) There is definitely potential however there is work to be done. read more

Paintball World was a great experience! They have one of the best rates to play paintball in Orlando. They have a spring break special where its free admission, rental, mask, and all day air. There paintball prices are also great. I see some complaints about the referee's not being engaged, but from my experience that is completely untrue. One of the referee's asked if he could wash my squeegee. Thats great customer service in my regards. Also, my geo 3 was leaking air, and I was frustrated because I was having such a great time and didn't want to stop. The same referee who offered to clean my squeegee got to get my gun working in 20 min ( hence they gave me a rental at no charge so I continue playing which was another great gesture. Great fields! Went here with a few buddies on a Friday night. $10 for everything you need except ammo. Add in 500 rounds and your good to go for about $27 on a Friday night. They are supposed to have like 7 fields but it seemed like only 3 were open when I went. Either way, it was a blast. I had never gone paintballin' and it was something I always wanted to try out. Word of advise, wear layers! I was shot on my butt wearing a thin pair of cargo pants. Ouch! That hurt. You could play for hours and not get bored. read more

Paintball World is awesome! One of my buddies planned a group outing here a couple of months ago and we had a blast. We had such a good time. We had to buy a few extra bags of paint balls so we could stay longer. They have all kinds of forts and fields that you can play on. The guns are super user friendly and they go over all the safety procedures before you start. All in all, this place is great and I would recommend it to anyone in Orlando that likes to have fun. read more

I've been here twice and both times were pretty cool. All the staff is super nice and laid back. Surprisingly, there were about 50-60 people both times I went... which is a good thing. Always multiple games going on at once and a wide variety of players and team sizes. The courses are all pretty cool too. The only down sides here are : 1. If it has rained recently, the place is going to be muddy... 2. They really don't have a pro shop here... You can buy paint and a handful of other things but, I wish they had a large pro-shop / gun techs like Orlando Paintball 3. Lastly, the coolest part about this place is a field called "the Church". It's cool because there are several two story buildings that players can get into and have a birds eye view of the field. Well, I heard from a Ref that they planned to remove these building due to "safety reasons" .... Which REALLY SUCKS !!! We sign a waiver before we play... why not just add "Hey dumb asses, learn to walk so there is no need to sue us when you fall". I swear, America is being destroyed in the name of "safety". read more

My friend stepped on a rusty nail before we got to play, please wear thick sneakers just in case when visiting because they have a board on one of the scenes with rusty nails sticking straight up. You will be treated poorly once injured. One of the staff is entirely rude, bad at math and disrespectful to paying customers he was in the wrong when handling our situation unethical and needs to be fired. If he isn't working I'm sure you'll have a good time, everyone else was nice! read more

I have been playing paintball since 95. The customer service at this place is second to none. Fields are fun and hear there are more to come, which is a plus. the shop has a stock of solid items and markers. The place has a nice setup so far but needs some work but even time I go out there something new is built or added. Can't wait to be back out there this weekend. read more

we made an appointment for our sons birthday. On our way to the place we got lost and called them. Upon calling them they told us that they closed their facility. They never called us and we made reservations for our sons birthday!!!! If this place ever opens up I would NEVER GO THERE! They completely ruined our sons birthday!
