if I could give no stars, I would. I spent a week exchanging texts with Karma about my daughter…read moretaking riding lessons. everything seemed great. then we met her, and I found her rude and abrasive. Additionally, after all of our exchanges through text and then us coming up for a "meet and greet" which was supposed to be a chance for us to show our daughter where she will take lessons, which we gifted her as a birthday present, she told me they didn't have room. when we left the meet and greet, she only said to send her a list of preferred days and times. we did it literally in the parking lot, only to be told they are full and we would be waitlisted. I don't understand this incredible lack of professionalism, but that combined with her lack of personality has us completely turned off. we will NEVER try lessons with her again.

Thought we had a good first lesson and my 8-year son was VERY excited about the idea of going back,…read moreonly to receive a very unprofessional text several days later saying "he wasn't a good fit for the program" due to not listening to the instructor. However, I was at the lesson the whole time (and it was his VERY FIRST time at a lesson) and I never saw or heard anything that indicated he wasn't listening. And even if he wasn't listening, the professional thing to do would have been to send a professional email, detailing the concerns, and either give us a chance to talk to our son and try and let him improve, or provide us the common courtesy of an email or phone call that outlined the concerns and the reasons for why he wasn't a good fit. I wanted to love Karma and her staff (and our instructor seemed really great at the time), but after this unprofessional interaction, I can't recommend Karma or her team. And now I have to console a very hurt 8-year old who keeps saying "but I was listening! And even if they thought I wasn't, shouldn't I be given a chance to correct things before they tell me to not come back?!" Again, they seemed fine in person, but this was handled very unprofessionally and didn't leave a good feeling with us.
