It's a private farm that you can pet everything from Pigmy Goats to sheep....to their two wonderful dogs (Hank and Abby). It's very close to downtown historic Poulsbo and easy to find (look for the big sign at the entrance to their property), with a lengthy dirt driveway to their house. Any time we needed to come up and check things out, they welcomed us to visit. The space is beautiful. We had an outdoor wedding, with a gorgeous western view of the Olympic mountains and a reception in the spacious barn. The staff over a decade ago felt impersonal and stand-offish, unfriendly and not wishing to be bothered by confirming reservations, nor addressing any questions we had in regards to our wedding day and the property. However, they always had the nicest people volunteering their time to serve our group every morning. These are folks that went out of their way to give positive greetings, made sure that they were putting your food on your dish the way you liked it when they were serving from the window, and always offered a friendly chat. I have some friends that have attended Sons of Norway activities, trivia games, community meals, and such. They have really enjoyed them.
