I also really appreciated how kind and patient the staff was with both me and my mom. We truly had the full pottery experience and were given plenty of clay to mold and craft. What I really loved about this experience is that in three weeks, my mom and I get to come back and paint our pieces! She was fast to follow, but super kind and detailed with her instructions. This is my third class here and I will 100% be returning. This is such a fun indoor activity to do to beat the heat and let your creative spirit take over. I am also in a pickleball phase so the cookies were decorated were literally perfect. We got 5 cookies and they each were super tasty once I got to try one after they fully dried. You can buy drinks during the class, but we didn't. I love the community at this place and how everyone sits around each other so you can hype each other up as you go. Check it out if you've been wanting to take a class!

With all that said, Jerry's is a delight. I came here as an art student and I still come here now. My niece is into the arts, so popping in here for birthday and holiday gifts is a no-brainer. You get to choose your color from a list and note it when you register on their website. It was $85 before tax and came with 5 skeins of yarn, with the option to add more (I think for an additional $15). I also put in the notes on my registration the names of my friends so that we could sit together. The workshop was at 6pm on a Friday and lasted about two hours. There was my group of three and three others, plus the owner/instructor Lauren. Her instructions were easy to follow, and she would jump in if we needed help. I made a few errors, and she was able to fix them for me. I ended up making my loops too loose on the outside and too tight on the inside, so my blanket came out a bit small. But I think it was decent for my first attempt. It's so soft. I keep it on my couch to use as a lap blanket. We all had a great time and would definitely come back to try other workshops. My coworker had tried one of the resin workshops and really liked it too.

Pip is located in the walking-only community so car parking is way off to the side of the apartment/shopping complex. The space is in a large corner studio and there is a cute little area with some pottery and art goods for purchase. Unlike the Pip and Clay in Phoenix, this one does not have a coffee shop inside of it. I took a class while a wheel-throwing class was happening and since there is no room divider it was a little hard to hear our instructor at first but that class finished as ours started. Overall, for the price ($55-$60 for 2.5 hours) I think you get a fun piece! This is my second Pip and Clay class and I certainly plan on taking more!

The staff was helpful, making sure each little artist created their masterpiece to their liking. The Sparkle Factory will delight princesses and princes of all ages, and is a great photo op. The children had a super time during their "parade" of paintings, eating cupcakes, singing "Happy Birthday," playing staff-led games while their canvases dried, and celebrating her last single digit (sniff sniff) Birthday. They also offer adult parties - BYOB, if you choose - and have a variety of mediums you can choose to paint. I'm thinking a GNO wine glass painting party is in our very near future. They have Comedy nights, and other special events, too. We've been to different venues for her past three birthdays, and this is by far my favorite.
