I have posted a review a couple of weeks ago but it does not show up. I wrote the details of why I would not recommend this company. I will post the details again when I find the time. The bottom line is this company did not follow my instructions of painting the garage doors the color of the trim. They painted it white just like the body. They also did not have a license when they were stopped and asked me to lie if I got called. They stopped communicating to me. I was referred to this company to redo my kitchen cabinets by a local commercial company. I reached out and talked to Arturo to request an estimate. Arturo was friendly, professional, and even offered to come by later the same day to do a free estimate since he was going to be in the area. He came by and saw my disaster kitchen area (I had previously attempted to DIY half side of kitchen and re-painted cabinets myself with a very dark espresso brown color). Arturo listened to my needs, complaints, and my vision for a brighter and cleaner looking kitchen based on some ideas I found on Pinterest. The pricing was fair compared to a couple of other estimates I got, and he also left me a color palette booklet to pick out the colors I thought might be right (another company who came by told me to go talk to someone at a paint store, and figure out color I wanted ‍). Arturo explained the whole process, answered all my questions, was very clear about my expectations, and suggested color ideas as well. We decided to move forward and do verbal contract, and scheduled job for the following week. Arturo and Martin showed up on time on Tuesday morning as agreed to begin the job, professionally set up all kitchen area, were very clean, and communicated well at all times to ensure there were no damages, or concerns. The job took 2 and a half days for everything to completely dry up (they finished up Thursday morning by 10:00), cleaned up, and re-assembled cabinets back together. They also fixed a broken drawer at no additional cost, and even my garage door since the entire frame was damaged. Arturo of Painting Tailored 2u came to me by referral from a trusted contractor. My contact said Arturo was one of those people that does high-quality work, and is very knowledgeable about paints and stains. "You'll want to keep his number," he said. I had just moved to a new house, and the painter we used previously had taped off the wood ceiling beams, but merely applied paint right over the blue tape. When the blue tape came down, there was white paint all over the wood. I searched around and was connected to Arturo. He came out to assess the job, and planned to come back in a few days. He came back on schedule with a few stain options. After some spot testing, we agreed to proceed with the rest of the beams. Arturo *nailed* the color, and also expertly blended the color to the existing stain patterns on the beams. I was so thrilled at the quality of his work - he made the most important architectural element in the room beautiful again! He is coming back next week to refinish some of my wood doors and do some drywall/texture repair. I wholeheartedly recommend Arturo for paint and wood finishing projects.
