Came for Valentine's. Had an 8p start time. We were checked in and lead as a group to get our…read morepainters suit and coverups. We were offered refreshments and then walked to our stations. We were given a short intro and instructions and then let loose to be as creative as we liked. At the end you're lead to a table to put your masterpiece in a 'wet paint box', you go clean up in a section in the back then walk back to the front to claim your box. It was a cool experience and our new artwork will make its debut on the living room wall when fully dry! I would definitely come back and try the other rooms and activities they have available. It's a black owned business which is always a positive. There are so many crafty things to do like jewelry making and creating, bath salts, fragrances, clothing and jewelry purchases. My only con was the spinning swing as one attendee was hit in the head by one of the chairs and the bottom of it was wood. Hopefully, the issue was rectified, but I honestly would bring my kids back. Strong supervision by parents is a must though. I also received a call from an employee a few weeks after visiting personally inviting us to join a weekend event being hosted at Fun Time While Learning. This wasn't because they refused to pay their bill or were causing a disturbance. According to my daughter, the issue stemmed from the group choosing not to leave a tip after what they described as rude treatment from the bartender. Calling the police over a lack of tipping seems like a completely excessive response. Even more concerning, the bartender allegedly cursed at the group and made disrespectful comments, which should be visible on the establishment's security cameras. There are already far too few safe spaces for teens and young adults in Douglasville to gather. Experiences like this only make families feel less secure. Based on what happened, I cannot recommend this establishment to other families. My daughter and her friends left feeling humiliated and unsafe, and that is unacceptable.

Atl Glassworks has extremely high prices for basic things that you can learn online. I have always…read morelearned better in person so I booked a class figuring it would be an investment in my craft. I suffered a severe emergency and missed my class and following up with the company as soon as I was able to and was told that I can get zero refund or reschedule. So I am out $200+ dollars. I understand small business cant take a loss on the supplies but it isn't like they couldn't be used in another class. A full or partial refund or reschedule would've helped me a lot in a time of need due to the emergency. I realized just how easy it is to learn online and will be going that route. 1/10 overall. Edit to update: 50% off of a future class????? Like I'm going to come back when you can't give some grace for a mental health CRISIS .. not a "mental health day". I was not in a state to notify ahead of time or I would have. I didn't just forget to put you on my calendar. Just because you're a small business doesn't mean you shouldn't treat people like people if anything you should more so. That is what makes good word of mouth for small businesses. I have plenty of other sources I'd rather get help from. That have good business practice and don't steal peoples money when they're down.
