Came here on a double date and had so much fun. I was a little intimidated at the thought of painting because I'm no where close to an artist but the instructor was fun, bubbly and super interactive. It was the perfect balance between guidance on the activity and independent time to chat and enjoy our double date. Highly recommend!

Painting with a twist is always fun but I especially liked that this location carried several options of wine that you could purchase directly at the location. My friends and I were running late so we were bummed we weren't going to have anything to drink and we were pleasantly surprised with the options when we arrived. I was also pleased to try painting on something other than a canvas. The wood panel painting was a fun idea. I would definitely come back here and do it again.

    So much fun!

Fun experience! Honestly with so many other paint studios around the Houston area PWAT is not my first choice. They never run specials outside of their loyalty program and most of their paintings are either too simple are too difficult in my opinion. But my group decided this is where they wanted to paint so I decided to tag along. The handful of times I have gone, I've had a great time. The instructors are always super friendly and patient as well as entertaining. Now if they'd just make it a bit more affordable... Scored a free PWAT mug just for checking in!

My friend and I decided to give painting our pets a try. I'm not the most artistically inclined so I was prepared for the worst. Katie made the whole evening so fun! Not only did she give easy to understand instructions, she helped when we needed it and I have to say I am so surprised at how well my dog's portrait turned out!! We're so happy with the results that we're going back to paint our other pets! I highly recommend visiting PWAT

We always have a lot of fun painting at Painting With A Twist. The instructors are always very good at leading you step by step and assisting you if needed. They also hand a lot of variety in paintings and other art to choose from so you can find something to go with your decor. You can also always choose the colors that work best for your home.

This place was so much fun!! Especially with our instructor, Louis M.! It was me and my boyfriend's first time here, and after reading the terrible reviews about some instructors, I'm glad Louis taught my first class. He was really on point with his techniques and very goofy. His instructions were easy to follow and he also provided demonstrations on how to paint certain objects ( i.e., a tree). There was also music trivia and a little drawing contest with prizes at the end.

I have gone to in person classes before COVID but the opportunity to have these Twist-At-Home kits is great to pass the time and have fun with my family safely. Even after the quarantine I'll continue to get these kits if offered. I appreciate the ease of getting the kits to have a similar experience from home. Thanks Painting With A Twist

My boyfriend and I went here for date night and had a great time! Katie was a great instructor, easy to follow and kept the mood lively with her tunes.

My BGF (best girlfriend) arranged a night here for my birthday and it was a blast! The atmosphere was festive and our instructor, Monica, was AWESOME. She is a great instructor and kept the vibe energetic with good music. This was my first visit, but definitely won't be my last!

The instructor gave no instructions of art. It was not worth $39.00 . This event should have charged no more than $10.00.

While it was great to see some familiar faces, it was even better to meet some new faces. We joined forces as team "Strawberry Scarlett" and never looked back! It was almost as if we knew each for the longest of times and we all had just met tonight. If anyone is looking for team building, I'd definitely recommend this place. You work together as a team and come up with answers to questions that you think you have it all together, news flash, who did y'all poll for some of these answers. Lol. It's all good because Strawberry Scarlett stayed on top till the very end. Yes there is some salt in that statement. It was a fantastic event overall. I am thinking the manager was having a little bit of scare towards the beginning and during team assignments (hence not 5 stars). I get it, it's overwhelming expecting so many people. Hopefully in the end she was able to relax because everything was great. KEKE and Savannah (I hope I have her bae right) made up for some of that experience. They kept us hype during game time Saint Arnold was there along with J. Lohr wines and whithaven for our libations. But let's pause and talk about that Knead Me Bakery lemon scone. I love any and everything lemon and they had it right on spot. We also were served some Chuys, tap the mic, jalapeño dip. Yum. Along with Zalat Pizza. Thank you Ms. Britt. Great idea as always. And you blew it out the park showcasing multiple businesses just a short walk away. You're the best! Job well done for sure.

I think going with a nice size group of friends, family, coworkers, etc. might make it a little better but date night also makes for a good time. They do have light snacks and beverages for purchase (standard venue pricing). The bathroom seemed cleaned and well maintained. And the entire staff was pleasant and seemed to enjoy what they do! This place is AWESOME! BRKThrough is such a unique and fun experience. The website does a great job…read moreof explaining everything. I've only been here once and I would definitely come back! My husband and I booked the 2 hour experience. It seems like a lot of time, but once you play, it feels like it's not enough! The rooms truly are best played with 2-4 players. There are some rooms where 2 people is nearly impossible to get a perfect score, and there are some rooms where people would just be standing around if you have more than 4 players. Your team will have a team leader who will wear a specific wristband that opens the rooms and allows you to view your score on a big screen in the hallways. If your team doesn't care about rankings and want to just play for fun, then you can go at your own pace or split up if possible, depending on the size of your team. For example, if you have a total of 6 people playing, you could be one team with 1 team captain. For scoring, it would be best to stick together. Or you can split into two teams and have two team captains. That way, your team could split up into teams of 2 and 4 or 3 and 3 depending on the game/room. If you do care about rankings, then stick with your team and try to solve as many rooms as possible and get the perfect score. The rooms are so different! It's a lot of fun. There is definitely something for every one and many rooms to solve. Within the 2 hours, my husband and I were not able to go through all the rooms. Man, after we were done, we wanted to play more! It was exhilarating because you are trying to get through as many rooms as you can and trying to get the best score. It's like we were on a game show. haha Some rooms are addicting to where you want to just play it over and over again, but if you care about your ranking, just move on! lol The rooms have a time limit, which helps you pace yourself and prevent people from hogging a room the entire time. It gives off a "minute-it to win-it" vibe. Running around and trying to find an available room is also fun in itself. It's like a labyrinth in there. There were some technical issues with some rooms. For example, there was a soccer room where one of the goals would not score at all, so that messed with our points. There was another room involving a subway where I seriously think several answers were not on the posters provided. However, it was still fun! The employees were all super nice! One of the employees even helped us play in one room because it was one of those rooms where it would have been impossible to get a good score with only 2 people. I would say this isn't exactly a "one and done" type place. If you play with different people, it will be a different experience. Certain rooms you can definitely memorize and just plug in the answers. However, there are other rooms that are sports and arcade style, so replaying it would still be fun. Furthermore, you may not finish all the rooms the first time and by the next time you come back, they may have added additional rooms/games. Also, since they track rankings, you could try to get a better score the next time you come. The price is sort of expensive, but I think it's worth it. I mean, it's not something I would do every weekend, but I can definitely see us coming back a few more times for special occasions. They do serve food inside the venue. They have a really cool little glass box outside of each room to put your drinks inside. Also, they have free lockers to put in your purse and other valuables if you wish. There are also several cool photo opportunities. This place is just amazing. You have to just come and experience it yourself! This place is perfect for birthday parties, family outings, date night, or just to try something new. I highly recommend this place!

Downloading a good playlist before you go, so you can link to the Bluetooth speaker and have a personalized soundtrack 2. Wearing long sleeves! They don't require long sleeves, but I was regretting not bringing a long sleeved shirt. 3. Hydrating beforehand! This is an *exhausting* experience (if you really go for it), and I left feeling thirsty and tired. I highly recommend this experience- its a bit pricey for what it is, but it includes paying the workers to clean up all of the mess that you make, so it's not bad. We're thinking about doing this about once a month- it's so satisfying, especially if you've been going through it recently. My only other qualm was the consent/release for photography and videos. You have to sign the release as part of the safety waiver, despite the service/venue being commonly used as a therapeutic experience after trauma or loss. This just didn't sit right with me, because that's why we came as well, and I didn't really want any of that to be used for advertising or published in any way. The employee seemed kind and understanding when we said that we didn't want to be filmed, so that was nice at least. Just know that they might take photos/videos for their Facebook and Instagram. Overall a good experience. We will be back.
