About 6:30pm, the ceremony with a live music started followed by passed hors d'oeuvre, fresh oysters, and wood fired pizza. The wood fired pizza was very delicious and I enjoyed the blackened shrimp and the arancini. I tried the cider and the rosé, but they were too dry for my taste. Then at 7:45pm, we went into the reception pavilion. The menu consisted of a salad as first course, a duet plate of salmon and beef short rib for entree, and dessert. The summer citrus salmon with the multi grain pilaf was very good. After first dance, father and daughter dance, mother and son dance, and speeches, the DJ told us to step outside. After a few minutes, the sky exploded with light. It was a beautiful fireworks display from the hillside. The bathrooms were stocked with essentials in the toiletry baskets. Red Maple Vineyard offers a rustic barn and reception pavilion, massive green grounds, and a beautiful garden.

For dessert we had pistachio tartufo, vanilla cheesecake, tiramisu and my aunt was given a sparkling birthday cake for free. The desserts were excellent and well portioned. The outside terrace is very nice as we are on the Broad Channel causeway. The only downside was I didn't bring my jacket with me, and a strong breeze hit my back as we finished. The other downside was the restaurant allowed smoking on the terrace in designated sections which isn't good for me because of asthma, and it is taking away from the taste of my food. The service was very slow, although the staff was friendly and cordial with many old time customers coming here on a standard basis. I was thinking they may have gone fishing to get our seafood plate together! The bathrooms were clean and there is valet parking on the premises. The bill was not paid by me but by my cousin and was well over $200.00 for the four of us. It's unfortunate that my food was cold and there is nothing to make up for the slowness of the staff. When we arrived, the outside was full of people but few staff and I believe there was a party taking place in the banquet hall and either there weren't enough servers or chefs to accommodate them both for the food to take so long and be cold. Fabian went above and beyond for us. While I was parking the car and my friend went inside to check in for our reservation, he had already prepared our table with our menus and made sure everything was ready for us. Throughout the evening, he checked in on us multiple times and made sure we were completely taken care of. His attentiveness, professionalism, and hospitality truly stood out and made us feel so welcomed. Alyssa, our waitress, was also absolutely amazing and provided exceptional service throughout our entire meal. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever making us feel rushed. Between Alyssa and Fabian, we truly felt taken care of from beginning to end. I have been to 3 Westerly many times, and the experience is consistently incredible. The food, atmosphere, and especially the level of service are always top tier. The truffle honey glaze is a good touch to the salmon dish but still feels overpowering the fish. I love the chef using different textures to tie all the ingredients together. As for the short rib, the fried truffle parm polenta is an interesting choice, but I am wondering if the potato pavé will do a better job.
