3 Westerly is genuinely my favorite restaurant in the whole world, and experiences like this are exactly why I continue coming back. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. Fabian went above and beyond for us. While I was parking the car and my friend went inside to check in for our reservation, he had already prepared our table with our menus and made sure everything was ready for us. Throughout the evening, he checked in on us multiple times and made sure we were completely taken care of. His attentiveness, professionalism, and hospitality truly stood out and made us feel so welcomed. Alyssa, our waitress, was also absolutely amazing and provided exceptional service throughout our entire meal. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever making us feel rushed. Between Alyssa and Fabian, we truly felt taken care of from beginning to end. I have been to 3 Westerly many times, and the experience is consistently incredible. The food, atmosphere, and especially the level of service are always top tier. It is rare to find a restaurant that makes you feel this well taken care of every single time, but 3 Westerly does exactly that. There is a reason I keep coming back -- and will continue to. I was so excited to visit 3 Westerly again but this time it have been very disappointing. Most recently I came for lunch 07/24/26 .Our Server was very inattentive and service was incredibly slow. This place sits squarely in the overpriced, mediocre food, fun vibe zone. For brunch, good luck getting the French toast to be cooked all the way through. I guess the chef doesn't want to cook anything because the bacon on my cheeseburger was undercooked, soggy, and all fat. The lobster rolls (hot or cold) are super bland and taste like someone threw a few chunks of lobster meat that's been sitting out all day in between a buttered bun. We frequent 3 Westerly on a regular basis. My husband and I arrived 30 mins prior to our 7pm res to secure an outside table. 15 mins later, we were told a table was being set up. The staff knew our full party wasnt expected until 7. We closed our bar tab at 7 and were then told our table was given away to another party. Went there with a small group for a late lunch. Service and a fantastic view. We were there late afternoon on the setting provide a beautiful backdrop. We ordered some calamari a short length of rolls and a beet salad. Beet salad was good with arugula, goat cheese and a nice balsamic dressing. I came here because it was highly recommended. The best part was the view. It is next to the river and a small park. It is also near a prison! Outdoor dining filled up quickly. I ordered the parmesan truffle fries because that was the recommendation. It was $12 and I felt like I was going to be treated poorly for only ordering it so I got a $10 side salad too. The salad was okay. There really is not much to raw leafy greens and dressing. The fries were nice except all the parmesan fell to the bottom of the cup. At the end, I did not want to waste food or money so I ate it all by hand. I did not care how I looked to the other diners. My server was fine. Nothing special but no complaints. Parking is shared with the park. If I am ever in the area again, I will just get the fries to go and sit on a bench. We've had 3 Westerly on our list for years and were excited to finally try it. While sitting outside, looking at the Hudson on a nice summer evening was absolutely gorgeous, I'd rate the food as fine to good, but not particularly memorable. My shrimp crudo was entirely too salty. I was glad to have a glass of Sancerre to cut the salt. The Halibut with beurre blanc was quite tasty with nicely finished asparagus. My wife enjoyed the tuna tartare with was pretty much like every other tuna tartare at every other restaurant that serves it. And our friends had oysters, and she was frustrated that she couldn't order three West and three East coast oysters, but rather six of one kind minimum. Seems like an arbitrary rule. Dinner per couple with one glass of wine and one cocktail was $150. We left another $30 for the server since the service was reasonably attentive. With the view, it was probably about right. My sister and I went for lunch on a Friday. Our waitress was lovely but obviously overwhelmed. Our lunch from beginning to end took over 2 hours and when I mentioned this I was ignored twice. So. I have been going here on occasion, since they opened. The place looks amazing and has a beautiful view of the Hudson River! The menu does change from time to time and the food is pretty good! Spent a good amount of time here for my cousin's brunch. Arrived early, so I waited by the bar and loved how you could see the water from the bar. The vibes are relaxed yet classy. The drinks are so cute here, my favorite one was the Midnight Spritz! The food was great. We had a party of 9 and the service was attentive & patient. Went for a day trip from Haverstraw to Ossining. It was a fun day and we ended up hungry. We checked around and found this restaurant with good reviews. The place is cozy (they have a very nice and aesthetically pleasing bathroom too!! ) We were asked if we wanted out or inside we stayed inside. Came here for my friend's wedding rehearsal dinner, and it was so nice! Parking isn't the greatest though took a little bit to find a spot. The venue is on the Hudson though so you can walk down the boardwalk or around the river. There's indoor and outdoor seating. The space she reserved was inside to the right when you walk in, it was really hot though like no air movement which was the only downside. The food and drinks were so good though. Their chicken and short rib dish was delicious!! The staff were all friendly. There's also a bar to the left when you walk in where we hung out the rest of the night which was fun. read more

Service - a place with a non-reservable outdoor space and no time limit on tables = abominable. came here for my husband's birthday with 2 senior citizens . And please checkout my minuscule piece of 12 oz steak au poivre - barely 6 oz, bucket of cold fries the size of a happy meal and cooked medium well when we asked for medium rare, for $46. The perfect vibe for a date night or girls night out. The dim lighting gives an up-scale vibe and the location is super pretty, right on the water. My lobster roll could have used some more butter. It was just a bit dry and the portion was smaller than I was expecting. I did love that it was paired with a side of lobster bisque to drizzle on top. I am also not a crazy fan of sweet potato fries but the menu didn't specify that those fries were the default, or else I would have ordered the regular ones. Saw this restaurant when we took the ferry to Haverstraw. "Great Views" we said. Came back for happy hour (served in the bar only) with two friends from Italy. We were disappointed that the bar itself was built so as to block the beautiful river views. Sat in a booth and were greeted by a most cordial bartender who took our order right away. The food was at best "Meh". Cauliflower was oily, Tuna roll was about what you'd expect from Super Food Town, crunchy rice cakes were bland and exceptionally unattractive, sliders were sliders and pizza was pizza, both unmemorable. Big bummer that they couldn't have left their risotto base as fully vegan but offered it with the shellfish. Yes, it said that on the menu, but you can buy 2lbs of shrimp for that price. Plus, NO seasoning on those five dollar shrimps. I came on a Saturday at 415pm for an early birthday dinner. This restaurant is absolutely beautiful. The decor, the outdoor seating and the view is AMAZING. Upon entry, we were greeted right away and with a big smile and pleasantries. We were give the option to choose where we want to sit anywhere in the restaurant. I appreciated that. Because we had been sitting for a few minutes at the table one server came over to greet us and ask if we wanted drinks until out server arrived because she was just starting her shift. I went to 3 Westerly for NYE and had way more fun than expected! I usually hate NYE and don't want to go out, but my husband convinced me otherwise. The service was attentive, almost too attentive. At first, it felt kind of pushy, but it seemed that there was just a lot of staff checking in to remove plates, menus, get us more drinks etc. We were very pleased with the food. The octopus was so delicious. The pizza tasted fresh. My espresso martini was the jolt I needed to stay up past midnight. Towards the end of the night, they opened up a dance floor and handed out free champagne for a toast to the new year. The DJ was awesome! I may be biased, as I am a millennial and went out with my Dominican in-laws, but I loved the 00's 10's throw backs with lots of Latin music mixed in.
