Visited Paix during the week around 8:30am. There was no line, but I heard it gets quite busy on the weekends. They have a limited menu, but I went with the seasonal spiced latte (November 2024). The latte was $6 which seemed a bit much for the size, but it tasted pretty good. Service was friendly and there is some seating available, but is limited. They are connected to a boutique/vintage shop next door so it's nice to pop around in there while waiting!

Paix Coffee is a local coffee shop that first started out as a mobile cart. It was good to see them have a brick-and-mortar, attached to a clothing/apparel/accessories store that you can peruse while waiting for your beverage(s). We stopped by in the morning, and I tried one of their seasonal drinks - it was a spritzer, and it was well-made, strong, and refreshing. I just wished it came in a larger size. Staff were friendly, and there is a couple of seatings in the cafe area; most patrons seem to bring their drinks over to the store, which made me a bit nervous due to accidental spills and such. Ample street parking can be found in the area. +seasonal drinks +friendly service +ample street parking

Outside Patio. It was chilly that day, so no one was out.

Their coffee is superb!! Honestly the best coffee I had in Richmond. The service is friendly and I love they are pet friendly. The coffee shop is super nice and cozy, it shares a space with a cool clothing store and also has an outside patio. If you love coffee you should definitely try this place.

Love me some great coffee in the neighborhood. I don't need fancy flavors and I love the menu Paix offers based on a simple espresso. They even have a cortado! Definitely a little gem.

Was my first time visiting, and I will FOR SURE be back!! A true coffee gem in RVA I love how there weren't too many options (sometimes that's overwhelming LOL), but they had the staples and a seasonal option -- which was the Brazilian Lemonade / Thunderbolt which was AMAZING!! I also love how there is a connected vintage shop & outdoor seating in the back! Great people and great coffee :)

You can feel the love here - they put a lot of heart and soul into their coffee. Their aesthetic is very calming and their outdoor area is wonderful. Coffee was dense, dark, and delicious. Wish they had more inside seating but considering I came here alone, it worked out.

Lovely little coffee shop with lovely people. They do things simply and really well. No unnecessary frills to distract from the quality of the coffee. And what you get here is delicious and quality stuff. The menu is small, with mostly espresso based drinks. The staff were super kind and helpful. Service was quick. I was in and out in just a couple minutes. Met the owner who took my order and told me a little about their business. Paix is attached to what looked like a clothing / consignment shop next door, and you have super easy access with an opening inside connecting them. Street parking in the museum district neighborhood. So it's quiet and typically will find street parking very easily. Will be going back!

First time in. Smells and tastes amazing.

Amazing service with cozy feeling atmosphere. Made me feel welcome. Coffee is fresh with notes of berries and nuts. Refilled my tumbler with ease. Love the location.

What a fantastic cup of coffee. Stopped in on a trip up to Richmond and glad I did. I usually order a mocha but they offer a very particular couple of sweeteners. I ended up with a vanilla cardamom latte which isn't a normal thing for me. Glad I tried it. It was delicious. Cant recommend this little shop enough. Give it a try and step out of your comfort zone!

The cutest new coffee shop on Cleveland! It is hands down the best coffee in the area! The menu is short and concise, which I love! We now have so many decisions that it's a breath of fresh air to have a refined menu. The guys working the shop were super friendly and the shop felt warm yet updated! It is attached to a vintage shop which was so cool to be able to walk around and shop while sipping my coffee! Totally going back!

This amazing small pop-up style coffee shop offers the most ḋëḷïċïöüṡ brews. The small, whitewashed brick room is pleasantly unassuming and straightforward in its presentation and menu. Don't let the simple digs fool you, though, because the flavor on the roast was RICH and amazing. I opted for an oat milk latte and was super happy with my selection. The staff was also really friendly, and even made something special for the child in our party so she could have something to sip on. I'll definitely be back for one of the amazing looking croissants! Tip: After grabbing your brew, take a browse at the attached vintage clothing store @Rexco. There are tons of really awesome finds to add something special to your wardrobe- everything from "Virginia is for Lovers" gear to poodle skirts and cowboy boots .

They don't have half and half for your coffee. Only non-dairy options available if that's your thing.

The vibes are great and parking is plenty but 8 dollars (with tip) for half an 8oz cup of coffee is absurd.

I was a bit disappointed that they only offer whole or oat milk, as I was used to having more milk options (like low fat or nonfat). I can't drink whole milk and I'm not a big fan of oat milk. The barista recommended that I try the oat milk and said if I didn't like the drink, they would make me something else. I asked for light oak milk and hoped for the best. My latte was served in layers, so I got a big blast of oat milk in my first sip, but after I mixed my latte, it tasted so much better. The coconut flavor really came through and offset the oat milk flavor. I was really happy with my drink and with the super helpful barista. I'll for sure be coming back!

As anyone can see by my other reviews, I give a lot of 4 and 5-star ones, and am generally not a complainer. When I rate something low, there's really a reason. There was nothing for me to like about this place. First, there was no signage to speak of. It wasn't real easy to find. I didn't even know I had found the right place until I saw the name of the place on the bags of coffee. When I came in, it was a cold feeling, not a friendly one. Every person I dealt with behind the counter wasn't warm or inviting. I got the feeling that they felt I "should have known" where to order, and "should have known" where to wait, or to pick up my coffee. I got a takeout hot coffee but had to interrupt and kindly ask for a lid. And when I did I got a vibe like I was an irritation or something. I went out to the car with my coffee and told my husband I hoped it was really outstanding coffee with what I had to go through to get it. And you know what, it wasn't all that great. It's not worth going back for. I don't get why people like or recommend this place.

It is a cool place to spend time in town, grab a coffee, and do some solid people watching. The breakfast burrito is great, and the coffee is pretty good too. The staff is extremely nice, and everything always comes out as quickly as possible, which I really appreciate. It is not the best place to work from home during the winter. The Wi-Fi can be a bit spotty at times, and there is no easily accessible power, which makes longer work sessions tough. When the weather is nice, though, their screened-in outdoor seating is a great place to work for a few hours. Overall, it is an easy spot to recommend, whether you are stopping by for breakfast, hanging out with friends, or just looking for a relaxed place to spend some time.
