    Vanilla latte

Paix is an intimate hub for delicious coffee in the Museum District. They have indoor and backyard seating. My friend and I were treated to the adventures of a tiny little mouse outside bopping around. We both ordered vanilla lattes, and we enjoyed them. Since it's on the smaller side, the focus is really on coffee roasting, so they don't have a big menu of options. For that, go down the street to Black Hand. I enjoyed the visit and the price was on par with other shops. The churchy art was a surprise, but they have a cool vibe overall.

What a cool spot! The inside is small, but cozy. Decorated with old church signs and paintings, Paix Coffee displays their simple menu by the register. I enjoyed their seasonal latte- honey cardamom in January 2025. Next door and attached to Paix Coffee is a fun clothing store with a couch and bar seating. Outside if a mural by NILS, one of RVA's best muralists.

Visited Paix during the week around 8:30am. There was no line, but I heard it gets quite busy on the weekends. They have a limited menu, but I went with the seasonal spiced latte (November 2024). The latte was $6 which seemed a bit much for the size, but it tasted pretty good. Service was friendly and there is some seating available, but is limited. They are connected to a boutique/vintage shop next door so it's nice to pop around in there while waiting!

Paix Coffee is a local coffee shop that first started out as a mobile cart. It was good to see them have a brick-and-mortar, attached to a clothing/apparel/accessories store that you can peruse while waiting for your beverage(s). We stopped by in the morning, and I tried one of their seasonal drinks - it was a spritzer, and it was well-made, strong, and refreshing. I just wished it came in a larger size. Staff were friendly, and there is a couple of seatings in the cafe area; most patrons seem to bring their drinks over to the store, which made me a bit nervous due to accidental spills and such. Ample street parking can be found in the area. +seasonal drinks +friendly service +ample street parking

Outside Patio. It was chilly that day, so no one was out.

Their coffee is superb!! Honestly the best coffee I had in Richmond. The service is friendly and I love they are pet friendly. The coffee shop is super nice and cozy, it shares a space with a cool clothing store and also has an outside patio. If you love coffee you should definitely try this place.

Love me some great coffee in the neighborhood. I don't need fancy flavors and I love the menu Paix offers based on a simple espresso. They even have a cortado! Definitely a little gem.

Was my first time visiting, and I will FOR SURE be back!! A true coffee gem in RVA I love how there weren't too many options (sometimes that's overwhelming LOL), but they had the staples and a seasonal option -- which was the Brazilian Lemonade / Thunderbolt which was AMAZING!! I also love how there is a connected vintage shop & outdoor seating in the back! Great people and great coffee :)

You can feel the love here - they put a lot of heart and soul into their coffee. Their aesthetic is very calming and their outdoor area is wonderful. Coffee was dense, dark, and delicious. Wish they had more inside seating but considering I came here alone, it worked out.

Yo, i got a regular latte. That thing was so creamy holy schnikies. They have some cool looking dutch espresso machine thats unique. The latte was GOOOOOOD. Like butta. Go here check it out.

Lovely little coffee shop with lovely people. They do things simply and really well. No unnecessary frills to distract from the quality of the coffee. And what you get here is delicious and quality stuff. The menu is small, with mostly espresso based drinks. The staff were super kind and helpful. Service was quick. I was in and out in just a couple minutes. Met the owner who took my order and told me a little about their business. Paix is attached to what looked like a clothing / consignment shop next door, and you have super easy access with an opening inside connecting them. Street parking in the museum district neighborhood. So it's quiet and typically will find street parking very easily. Will be going back!

First time in. Smells and tastes amazing.

Amazing service with cozy feeling atmosphere. Made me feel welcome. Coffee is fresh with notes of berries and nuts. Refilled my tumbler with ease. Love the location.

What a fantastic cup of coffee. Stopped in on a trip up to Richmond and glad I did. I usually order a mocha but they offer a very particular couple of sweeteners. I ended up with a vanilla cardamom latte which isn't a normal thing for me. Glad I tried it. It was delicious. Cant recommend this little shop enough. Give it a try and step out of your comfort zone!

The cutest new coffee shop on Cleveland! It is hands down the best coffee in the area! The menu is short and concise, which I love! We now have so many decisions that it's a breath of fresh air to have a refined menu. The guys working the shop were super friendly and the shop felt warm yet updated! It is attached to a vintage shop which was so cool to be able to walk around and shop while sipping my coffee! Totally going back!

They don't have half and half for your coffee. Only non-dairy options available if that's your thing.

The vibes are great and parking is plenty but 8 dollars (with tip) for half an 8oz cup of coffee is absurd.

In addition to the smoked trout spread, they offer bagels with different cream cheese spreads, a kale Caesar, and their popular tiramisu dessert. They roast single origin coffees onsite and sell them in completely biodegradable pods, which only stay on their shelves for up to 30 days so the coffee always tastes super fresh. They are not like other biodegradable pods you may see for sale elsewhere, these actually ensure you get a fantastic cup of coffee each time. I started talking to the baristas, Lisa and Anastasia, and shared that I used to work for Starbucks and was amazed how the same coffee could taste completely different if it was prepared differently. Lisa promptly took out two bags of coffee and prepared a pour over of each. They were the same beans, but roasted at different temperatures. She gave tastes to me and another customer. It was amazing how different the coffees tasted, and they even had different colors. It was such a cool experience! I bought a box of Columbia medium roast pods, which I've been enjoying every day this week. They have several coffees available to try, along with pastries and made to order sandwiches. It's located in an industrial area, off the main road, but is well worth the trip if you're looking for some delicious coffee. It's become my go to coffee roaster in the Richmond area.

Unfortunately, there wasn't even a changing table available. Instead, I was stopped and loudly reprimanded by a large, intimidating male employee in front of a line full of customers because I had apparently "used the wrong door" and "skipped the line." When I explained that I needed to use the restroom before ordering, I was told I should have used the other entrance -- despite the fact that the door I was directed toward had a clearly posted sign saying "Please Use Other Door." The entire interaction was humiliating and completely unnecessary. No customer, especially a mother carrying a baby, should be publicly shamed over something so minor and confusing. To make matters worse, the bathroom itself was filthy. Even if I had attempted to change my daughter on the floor due to the lack of a changing station, it would have felt unsanitary and unsafe. Businesses love to say they support women and families, but too often mothers are treated like an inconvenience the moment they actually need basic accommodation and decency.
