I ended bringing in a small corroded outdoor iron table and moving a lamp from the second bedroom. * one floor lamp in the entire living room. Generally poor lighting. *Peeling paint in bathroom *mold in bathroom corners *uncomfortable living room furniture-outdoor wicker, way past it's comfort usage. No support. *unwashed sheets in second bedroom, unwashed towel in master bath. ( the rental agency was very responsive about this) In this time of Covid, these discoveries made our stay uncomfortable. Was this place really sanitized before our arrival? My point here is that a rental at the beach, for $400+/ night, should be comfortable in all aspects. This was not. For a total of $1800 for four nights, I would have expected much more.

Would definitely not stay there again. The property was clean enough but not stocked with minimal kitchen staples (like flour, cooking oil, aluminum foil). With VRBO you expect better. The patio furniture was so torn, cracked and ripped, our adult daughter had a huge blood blister after sitting on a green plastic chair. (See photos) This is not acceptable. Nor is the master bathroom door where you had to close the door completely in order to use the toilet. It was so cramped--and I'm only 5'1. Do not stay here if you are used to comfort, cooking, or a patio where you can sit out and see the sky. For $2000 for three nights, we expected a lot more than Shorebird #115.

The condo itself is definitely dated, but this didn't bother us. The point for us was to enjoy the beach and relax, which is exactly what we did. The condo is very tidy, clean, and cute. Everything we needed was there - microwave, fridge, coffee maker, TV's in the living room and bedroom, dishwasher, and pots/pans/stove for cooking. The temperature was so comfortable inside that we didn't have to touch the thermostat once. The door outside that leads you to the beach is two seconds away, very convenient. There's also a shower/rinsing station outside. We highly recommend this place and look forward to returning soon!

We then enjoyed our annual Family Vacation in 59 Avocet. This spacious home is perfect with the most incredible views of the Pajaro shoreline and Monterey Bay. 84 Puffin and 59 Avocet are both incredibly clean and well appointed. They offer plenty of bedrooms with cozy beds. The kitchens have everything you could possibly need and each house offers a variety of beach supplies! Thank you Stacey for all of your help in coordinating each of these vacations. Looking forward to our next visit in 2026!

(Where did they go?) This is dishonest at the least. They say they are not responsible for any items left. I certainly would not worry about small items but this was just dishonest. The Futon couch has a split pillow in the middle of the so called mattresses which is about as comfortable as sleeping on the floor. The ad says stocked kitchen, there is no cutting board, or knives to cook with or spoons to cook with, their is one pot, on small frying pan nothing to put a salad in, you get the picture. My husband is 65 and I'm 60 we cannot be in a place for 5 nights that has nothing comfortable to sit on or sleep on. The extra bedding you can smell has not been cleaned. It's awful . Taylor Properties said they have a professional cleaner after each guest, that doesn't matter if the fabrics are dirty and smell. Worst property ever so miss represented, I highly recommend you go and see a property Taylor Properties has to offer, I can't stay here for 5 nights with dirty bedding, and uncomfortable sleeping, we paid over $1200.00 awful. This's the only vacation of our year. Taylor Properties came out and removed the disgusting rug, sent a pair of people out to see what we were talking about and we never heard back. After spending $130.00 on bedding and cutting board and knife to cook, Taylor Properties are refunding 1 night $199.00, we left 2 nights early because we just couldn't bare 2 more nights of being so uncomfortable. This place is for 20 somethings.

We rented a property at 452 Seascape Resort through Lindemann & Sloan in June. Though the location…read moreis exquisite, there were many problems, almost all of which I lay at the feet of the management company. The key cards were not in the lockbox at arrival as promised, the Wifi did not work, the DVD player did not work, the oven door could not open fully, there was no toaster, no corkscrew, no drapes installed in the living room, no screen installed on the balcony door, television brightness levels that could not be controlled, and an upstairs bath tub that leaked into the dining room below. Taking these issues one at a time... Luckily, the cleaning crew was there at arrival and they graciously offered us their key, and a toaster was provided within a couple of hours. However, the Wifi remained dead for 24 hours with Lindemann telling us to go to Resort and the Resort telling us to go to Lindemann (since the unit was owner-managed, this is the standard response of the Resort). From my point of view, it is 100% Lindemann's responsibility to get that working, but all they did was continue to say 'Call the Resort'. The lack of Wifi that first day impacted us a lot and actually required that both my son and I set up a working area in the lobby of the resort. Meanwhile, all I was getting was customer service that reminded me of a roadside motel. The oven door problem is an architectural blunder that they rightfully cannot be held responsible for (though they could remedy it if they really wanted to) and one could argue that it is not their responsibility to provide drapes either, even though it makes the living room a brightly lit stage at night. However, any definition of "maintenance" has to include installing a screen door instead of leaning it against the wall, providing an operational DVD controller, and establishing an environment where it is not necessary to shine a flashlight at the IR sensor for a television picture to be visible! Doesn't it? After all, this is a so-called luxury apartment, for crying out loud. However, the most egregious problem of all was the leak. There was a rupture in the ceiling when we checked in, the little peeling back that is a tell-tale sign of a chronic leak. I did not think about it at the time, but that is exactly where the leak came through the next day. And you know what? Instead of saying sorry for the inconvenience, Lindemann blamed us for the leak, saying we must have flooded the bathroom floor. That never happened. I was the one who had taken the shower and I know for a fact that the floor was completely dry and we stopped using that tub for the remainder of our stay. Nonetheless, they had the cojones to subsequently dock our deposit. Because we reported to them an issue that existed before us, they took it upon themselves to shoot the messenger, patch over the ceiling, and ignore the fact that the leak is certain to occur again. You can believe me or not, but I promise on my children's lives that everything I am saying is 100% true. And it would be a matter of simply being irked at another disagreeable vendor were it not for one other thing: I had found them on AirBNB, but they insisted that I book directly through their own website to get the better price. Guess what? No consumer protection and no dispute arbitration booking directly. A mistake I will not make again. I could kick myself for being so gullible. If you work with Lindemann and Sloan, I would advise that you do so under an AirBNB or VRBO umbrella only, and that you do a full walk-through of the property and document everything photographically when you arrive. And if something is missing or broken, text them immediately so that you have a paper trail of communication. Treat the relationship just like a car rental agency. Note the dents before you drive it off the lot, otherwise they might become yours. Lastly, understand that you will be totally dependent on Lindemann and Sloan and their hours of operation for problem resolution. This is especially important at Seascape. You are on your own.

We started the trip with what I can say was a can't be beat resort stay here. We each had our own king rooms that honestly almost made me hate my own home. From the start of the stay pulling up to the security gate and getting greeted with so much energy and friendliness then being handed a rosemary bag to bring you into the mood. Immediately I knew I would love this place. The valets were great. The lobby staff were great. I was at the resort for two days and I swear I never touched a door to open. My room was ready early which was a bonus and the room. Again just great. Spacious. Ultra clean. All the amenities you could want. Fridge bar area. Fireplace. Sliding double doors to a private patio overlooking a fantastic golf course. Giant bathroom with separate soaking tub that was divine. I could review the golf all by itself. Super nice caddy Jack who it was a pleasure to spend the day working alongside and perfect weather because it can certainly get hot out there. We had a catered private lunch and then we had dinner in the bar area and everything was, you guess it, perfect. I will be back it's just a matter of when.

There is a hiking trail we didn't attempt because it was windy and our allergies were already bothering us, but a very nice option for those without allergies (or not staying during the spring). There are also pickleball, tennis and bocce ball courts and a nice gym! Our room in the resort was very spacious, they were really accommodating with baby amenities for our 15 month old which is always helpful when you're traveling. Cordevalle provided a crib, baby bath tub, baby bath supplies and a diaper genie!
