Just a word of caution. I always bought mutton from the Indo-Pak store in Yonkers. When I went there last week to get some kaleji, there was one piece left in their cold counter. I asked the guy if it was fresh and he said yes. As he turned to grab a plastic bag, another shop worker whispered to me to not take it coz of it was stale! I balked. The shop attendants fought between themselves. The owner told them to not complain in front of customers and told me that there were fresh pieces they would pull from the deep freeze. I left without anything and it is not a shop I am going to patronise anymore. I wasn't unknown to them. I am a regular client, have bought a lot of mutton and always tipped them well. I shudder to think what rotten stuff I might have fed my family and friends. read more

Good: this place has halal meat Bad: this place has yet rudest attendant I have ever come across. The first time I came to this place the attendant was fighting with his help, which I didn't think of much. This time I can to the place I made a simple request to the attendant and he started shouting, like literally shouting at me, as if I God knows I had said what and then he had the audacity to lie about it to my face. This is a non-descript local Indian/Pakistani grocery store. I go there to pick up either the frozen Indian foods and/or the smaller boxes of spices, say for a chicken curry dish, in which you have to add things such as the meats, (think Chicken breast cut up or beef). I also know that they have a butcher shop in the rear of the store where you can purchase their lamb- chicken and beef. Overall a clean, decent store. It's a small store and whenever I go in there, there are people shopping for their Indian Pakistani staples. read more

Small but well stocked. Seems to have new owners who are more helpful and friendly. You have to review it for what it is, it'll never be Whole Foods but if you need a local Pak/Indian store it fits the bill. read more

Zero etiquette. Even frighten the kids with their frowning faces don't know why they are there doing the business. The 4 star shown by the google is totally misleading.they think they are doing favor to the customers by answering ridiculously be it in store or over the phone. How hard is to for them to understand that they are in business just because of the customers.their food is stale, their supposedly fresh rotis are infested with mold. and when you ask them how fresh the items are they take it below their dignity instead of satisfying you as a customer.it is as if you are not putting your hard earned money to buy stuff there rather food is being doled out for free so nobody has a right to be treated by respect by the owner and his team. Absolutely disgusting demeanor.there are quite better options around one can take little bit of more travel to other outlets instead of getting humiliated and cheated by the owner of the store. read more

Great quality , great customer service. Fully stocked , fresh meat and produce. Meat is always cut to perfection as you demand. If you need some item they always try to get it in stock as it's new ownership now so things are a lot better at this place now. read more

I have never seen anyone more rude than the people running this place. They have no respect or decency at all. They talk in such a condescending tome. Besides that the meat portion stinks so much its impossible to stand there. The guy cutting meat was using bare hands while chewing betel leaf. Its absolutely disgusting and I had to walk out of this place. The only thing Halal about this place is the sign on their door putside. The worst customer service I have ever experienced.the owner has zero manners. I wouldn't even give a zero star I don't know why the app forces to give one star. He thinks they a monopoly in the area that gives them the right to treat customers with total disrespect. They even mock you while you are giving the order for the items to be purchased. read more

This place has by far the worse customer service. You have to ask multiple times before you get assisted. Everyone has an unwelcoming and rude attitude. I have been to other Indian/Pakistani stores to get grocery but have never seen such rude behavior. Will def not recommend this. read more
