Pete Maxwell served us several courses that began with the best tomato basil bisque I've ever had, prepared with locally-sourced heirloom tomatoes. Then came ahi tuna on microgreens served with a horseradish-based cream sauce. It was served family style, with Pete accommodating some of our group's request for more well-done portions. An heirloom tomato and burrata salad was fresh and delicious. I don't typically choose lamb, but the entree of a lamb ribeye and a little lamb lollipop in a bed of autumn squash puree, served with roasted heirloom carrots (strip steak for the non-lamb eaters) had both a beautiful presentation and just the right seasoning and I was pleasantly surprised. A miniature, warm pumpkin muffin was served before a unique dessert of vanilla ice cream served inside a roasted squash bowl. We brought and enjoyed our own wines, including a wine that paired well with the desserts.
