Omg what delicious food! Uptown Cafe is a small family owned business in a busy plaza with plenty of parking. The seating is a bit limited as it's a small place but I always order to go. But let me tell you this is some of THE BEST Food I've had in a looong time. It hits all the marks: fresh ingredients; perfect spicing, flavors and mixes; healthy options; tastes homemade because it is; and has a variety of food to choose from. I usually get the Caribbean Jerk Chicken bowl which is amazing because its individual components are just as tasty by themselves as they are complemented by each other in the bowl. It has grilled dark meat chicken which is packed with a unique jerk flavoring special to this place; I literally don't like chicken most of the time and especially have a hard time with grilled chicken, but at uptown cafe I would eat that chicken for every meal by itself that's how much flavor it has! Then it is complemented by house made pico de gallo (I always get extra) always fresh, seasoned white rice, corn, shredded cheese, grilled onions (I don't get these as I'm not a huge onion fan), lettuce, and homemade chipotle sauce that is particular to Uptown cafe (I haven't tried another like it) and so good it's addicting! To top it off they always have a soup of the day which is made from scratch. My favorite so far has been the vegetable dumpling soup which included carrots, scallions, onions and a tasty broth. They also have had tomato bisque, chicken noodle, chicken pho, and spicy chicken tortilla. They offer a range of other food items like salmon poke and beef bulgogi bowls, wraps, and breakfast burritos which I hope to try soon. They also have a huge variety of unique drinks and bakery items that change day to day. The portions are huge and definitely filling. I usually can't even finish my bowl by myself, so the value for the quality and quantity of food is excellent. The service is amazing as it's run by the sweetest owners who are always very kind and accommodating and truly care about you and your order. They always make my day with their smiles. TLDR: A small cafe with plenty of delicious food options and owners who make your day and truly care. Definitely try their Caribbean jerk chicken bowl and their homemade soups! I have been so obsessed with this place since I first went and go there at least once a week now. Their food is so good I literally crave it all the time!! Go, you won't regret it!
A charming find! We discovered this spot on Yelp and loved it. The panini and Korean bowl were cooked to perfection and packed with flavor. There is plenty of cozy outdoor seating, and the interior is adorable, filled with fun little trinkets.
Uptown cafe never misses. The Caribbean jerk chicken bowl was a big portion and had so much flavor. You could taste the freshness of every vegetable in the bowl and the wrap. Very friendly service and clean interior.
Service and food here were both great! Unfortunately it's a little small so it's not ideal for a group if you want to dine in, especially because it seems so popular. There's one large table that's maybe good for a family and then a couple of smaller tables and a counter, so there IS seating just very limited. I got the dirty matcha and the breakfast burrito - both delicious! My sweet tooth wanted the matcha to be sweetened but that was my miss for not asking. The burrito was pretty filling and I was stuffed after eating both halves of it (there were 2 others in my group who also got the burrito and they could only finish half). Would recommend for a quick brunch - they have other lunch offerings too, which were available during the breakfast hours!
Uptown cafe is the best cafe around nova. They're a family owned business and you can tell they love what they do. They provide exceptional service to everyone and their food is amazing. Every dish I've tried has been delicious. They have a huge variety of sandwiches and bowls as well as drinks and pastries. There's plenty of seating inside and outside. They have a cute little smiski collection at the register which is adorable. This cafe is the perfect spot for lunch. 10/10
Uptown Cafe definitely exceeded my expectations. The online ordering was a little odd to me because they use Shop, which I associate with retail not food, but it all worked out. The man working, presumably the owner, was so kind and helpful when I came in to pick up my order. The food being wrapped in newspaper is cute and I like that the menu isn't too stacked, makes choosing easier. I ordered the chicken fajita wrap and I couldn't recommend it more! They really stuff these wraps, making them super filling as well as flavorful. It's a great price point and I'd definitely recommend coming here!
First time, won't be last. I love me a good Korean deli that's well run. Uptown Cafe has all the hallmarks- fresh ingredients, clean interior, fusion items, Korean handwriting on signs, etc. I placed an order online and when I went to pick up, the owner? Manager? Was conversing with the girl in front of me and he remembered her order. The cafe is adjacent to an apartment complex and seems to be a hub for its residents. It's also directly across from from Sedona Taphouse. I got a California wrap no ranch, add chipotle sauce. Delicious! I thought cucumbers in it would be weird but it was actually really refreshing and added a nice crunch. My friend got the chicken panini which was also delicious but not as good. I thought the bread was just okay. Both were assembled well with even layers of ingredients throughout. Next time I want to try the jerk chicken bowl everyone seems to be raving about. I will be back again!
We visited this place while leaving the Marriott conference center and was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The place is small but very clean, priced well, great portions and the food was amazing. The special of the day was grilled onion beef Sliders and they were to die for. They were so good that I wanted to order more for our 3 hour drive home. We also ordered the chicken panini which was very good. If I lived in this area I would visit this Cafe very frequently.

They gave us some recommendations on what's popular and about their specials that rotate and gave us the menu so it's easier to look at then the big board behind them. It's clean and bigger than you may think with seating going down the little hallway on the side. It takes a bit of time for them to make the order but that's because its all made fresh and comes out hot! Would love to return to try more of their menu and their famous breakfast burritos. Steak and cheese sub - Similar to a philly steak and cheese roll but better! meat was soft. everything was seasoned well. Perfect amount of sauce and cheeese that added the great flavor but not too much so it wouldn't feel so heavy. Good veggie amount to balance. 3.5/5 Carribean Jerk Chicken - Taste kinda like a healthier chipotle. Chicken was cooked great but i do wish it had more seasoning. Toppings are good but would love if it had a little extra something like spicy to bring the flavor up! 2/5 Fries - Very hot and fresh. great crispiness and fluffy potatoes inside! seasoning was good too. 3.25/5
We absolutely love Uptown Café! My wife and I visit often, and it's always a treat. The food and drinks are consistently delicious, and the warm welcome from the owners--a wonderful couple--makes every visit feel special. Their breakfast burritos are hands-down the best in town, and this cozy spot is the perfect pick-me-up any day of the week.
So glad we stopped here on our way out of town because of all the great reviews. We walked in and were warmly welcomed by a man behind the counter. He asked us if it was our first time here. When we told him yes, he went on to explain the menu, etc to us. I picked the California Club wrap to go and had the ranch dressing on the side. My wrap was very fresh tasting and neatly made. It was easy to eat. If I am in the area again, I would not hesitate to come back to this Uptown Cafe's Westfields location for a sandwich, wrap, panini, or bowl.
Visited Uptown Cafe this weekend for brunch, where both their breakfast and lunch menus were still available. As soon as we walked in, we were warmly welcomed--by who I assume is the owner. We probably looked a little lost while scanning the menu (because we were), so he kindly gave us insight into the most popular items, which we really appreciated. I ended up going with their well-loved breakfast burrito and a white mocha iced latte. The burrito did not disappoint--in fact, it was beyond excellent. It was packed with flavor, yet surprisingly light, and unlike most breakfast burritos, it wasn't greasy or oily at all (no messy spillage!). As for the white mocha, it was exactly what I expected--delicious and satisfying. The cafe itself is super cute, though I will note that indoor seating is limited. Most tables are set for two, with one table for three, and there's a high-top bar that could fit a group of four, though that doesn't seem to be its main purpose. However, I heard there are plenty more seating options outside when the weather is nice, so I'll have to come back and check it out. I highly recommend stopping by this cafe (they also have fresh pastries!) and trying a breakfast burrito. Plus, the owner and his family are the sweetest people.
This is it.... Look no further because this place has possibly the best breakfast burrito in Chantilly. You can tell the burrito is made with love because it's packed with flavor, stuffed with fresh ingredients, and made to order. The staff is also incredibly nice, friendly, and efficient. I waited probably 5 mins in total which made the whole experience much better.

I'm not sure what all the hype is here, but my experience was pretty disappointing. The Caribbean Jerk Chicken bowl looked and sounded interesting, so I had to try it. I've had plenty of jerk chicken and there was no taste of the seasoning in this one. Although the vegetables in the bowl were fresh, it was topped with a bit too much chipotle sauce, which ruined it even more. I will say that the portion of the bowl was decent, though. My latte was also mediocre. They didn't have oat milk either. The staff who took my order looked like the owner or manager and he wasn't the friendliest nor was he trying to be helpful. read more

We were visiting family and stumbled upon this cafe one morning for breakfast and we are so glad we did. The lattes and breakfast were so good we ended up coming here twice during our 5 day stay. The breakfast sandwich and burrito were both standouts in particular. The restaurant itself was extremely clean and staff were so friendly and even remembered us from our first visit. We will definitely come back when we are back in the area. read more

Had a great meal at Uptown! I've visited a few times and tried various items on the menu. This time, I got the kbbq bowl and was yet again not disappointed. The quality and taste are consistent. I'm very pleased with the portion for the price! Also, it is an Asian locally owned cafe and the owners are very sweet and welcoming every time. Will definitely be taking my friends again soon! read more

A friend recommended this establishment to host a small gathering with my closest friends who lives nearby to explore a new venue. I am very pleased that I had this opportunity. The cafe is located within a small retail center that is part of a new development in Chantilly. The weather was ideal for outdoor seating; however, the area was quite busy with others enjoying the weekend, just as we were. Uptown had indoor and outdoor seatings offered. First and foremost, the food was outstanding. Some of my friends ordered breakfast dishes that were accompanied by a delightful aroma. Each meal was prepared to order and featured an abundance of fresh ingredients, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Although a bagel with cream cheese was not on the menu, the cafe owner graciously made an exception for us. The staff at Uptown were exceptionally attentive, providing prompt service. I am curious if this is a franchise, as I recall seeing Uptown Cafe in another business location. I look forward to returning to sample more items from their menu especially their espresso drinks. Third time here and all my choices have been great. Good taste , fresh made to order. I've had the steak and cheese, turkey avacado panini and the chipotle chicken and cheese sub. Their iced caramel mocchiato with oat milk is amazing. read more

TL;DR: Cute cafe with lots of options for food and drink. Super friendly staff! Loved this spot when it was located in Trinity Parkway, and I'm so happy they opened up in this new location! Was finally able to visit here and came here on a rainy Saturday to grab a quick bite to eat. The interior is really cute and have bar seating along the hall and a few tables in the back. They have a decent amount of outdoor seating, but obviously it's reliant on the weather. FOOD: ~Iced Americano (5/5): Deep in flavor and nice and strong ~Jamaican Jerk Chicken Bowl (4/5): Flavorful and a large portion! Chicken is very soft and the sauce gives it a nice kick ~Turkey Avocado Panini (4/5): Good portion of turkey. Came out nice, hot, and melty. The sauce is sort of mustardy, but so good. Can't wait to come back and try more of their menu! read more

This place was the perfect ending to my visit to King Spa. Yelp never disappoints in providing great options when I'm in a new neighborhood. I'm paying it forward and doing the same. First the service, despite my arrival at 7:57 when they closed at 8, they were extremely warm. They answered all of my questions, and they gave me great recommendations. I was debating between the dumplings and the onion rings. The owner recommended the dumplings based on my order and threw in a few delicious onion rings with my order. Prior to arriving, I had planned to order the poke bowl. Once the owner described the K BBQ bowl, I decided to go with that instead. The bowl was delicious and had a ton of meat. I ended up having to save half my bowl for later. Pro Tip: Go! read more

Stepped by the cafe while I was in the area after dropping a family member off at the airport. I was in need of a quick breakfast snack to hold me over until I made it home. This shop is well situated with a parking lot and street parking around. The restaurant was clean, pretty, and well organized. Service was quick and efficient. Great customer service and very cute and clean ambience. I look forward to coming back to try their lunch menu read more
What a beautiful new store started by the same owners who previously had the store in Centreville's Trinity Parkway... This new store is a beautiful store front near the 28 exit near Texas Roadhouse. There is a new luxury apartment and Sedona Tap House. Everything from the Steak and Cheese, Korean Breakfast Toast, Fries and Onion Rings are fried to perfection. The bulgogi or Cajun Chicken bowl are perfection. If you are anywhere near the area, I would make my way as soon as possible. There is a small indoor seating area and a lot more outdoor seating area. They also cater... just talk to the owners about pricing. Come check it out! read more

I have been trying to keep this place to myself for a little while but I could not much longer. I have grown fond of everything this little cafe had to offer. The food is outstanding. Not a lot of cafes/restaurants can do asian/american fusion well however, uptown cafe does it perfectly. From their daily soups that ranges from tomyum, pho, to chicken noodle soup, I have loved all of them. Their wide variety of sandwiches, bowls, and wraps makes me struggle to choose. Every single menu item that I have tried (even the drinks), I have enjoyed delightfully and its been made with love. The service is another level. I believe that it is ran by a family and they are super sweet. The owners always ask me how I am when I return, and they greet us everytime whenever we enter or leave. They are super caring and they are even more attentive to their customers, always doing their best to accommodate. They truly make you feel like family here. The ambiance is very welcoming. They have big windows that lets the light shine brightly through, and it captures such a great atmosphere when you are conversing or enjoying your food. If I could keep this place a secret I would but I wanted to share and encourage as many people as I can to visit here. From the amazing flavors of the food, to the sweet service, and the bright environment, I couldn't recommend a better cafe! read more

Exceeded my expectations! It's located in a small center surrounded by an apartment complex. Delicious food for a relatively small cafe. I got the K-BBQ bowl, which had a nice balance of flavors. The portion was also very large. I think the price was well worth it. read more
