Its nice to see so many of Kauai's residents thriving here at Garden Isle. I did dock a star because there are a handful of upper management (mainly nursing managers) that do not convey the same love as the CNAs and nurses. Very snappy and unenthusiastic in helping others on the floor. Garden Isle does a good job with their daily activites for their residents as well as maintaining a happy floor staff. Would recommend this place for families looking for long-term care or even rehab. services.

This review is about the Waimea branch front desk/reception service (medical services), not about…read morethe doctors or other staff. I had called several times over the period of 2-3 weeks without having my call answered. I understand that they are probably busy and may also be understaffed so that is actually not my complaint about the Waimea Kauai Community Health Center/Ho'ola Lahui Hawaii; it was the poor front desk service. I'm from here, but have never gone to this clinic before. From what I had seen on their website, it seemed like it was open to anyone in the community, which is why I wanted to try scheduling an appointment there in the first place. I called one last time (with the intention of going directly to try to schedule an appointment), when the call was answered. Happy to have gotten in touch with someone, I politely inquired about scheduling an appointment. The receptionist was impatient and rude (when I said that neither of the doctors were my primary care physician, she snapped "You do know we're in Waimea, right?"), which was disappointing considering it is part of Ho'ola's mission to be a "model health care system distinguished by people, quality, and service." It seemed like it was a hassle for the receptionist to ask me the few simple questions that she did, and it felt like I was doing her an inconvenience by calling. Disappointed by the lack of aloha at this "community" health center.

She really examined each tooth thoroughly. She explained everything. I will go back for my work to be done soon. SAMANTHA gave me the best tooth cleaning I ever had in my life. She is a perfectionist and really has a command on her skill. She must be doing this for a long time because she knows how to clean teeth better than anyone I've ever been to and I've been to the best Dentist and Hygentist in Honolulu. SO very impressed with this dental team. And the xray tech and girls at the desk are very professional and nice.

I, like most people, get extreme anxious about the type of care I am going to receive, pain or discomfort with judgement. This was absolutely not the case here. The assistant/ hygienist and the doctor were so nice and helpful. I was originally scheduled for February they put me on a wait list and got me in today. Took pictures, cleaned and made a treatment plan in a little over a hour. I am now scheduled for just before Thanksgiving and the doctor really made me feel as though he was going to do his absolute best to get my smile back!
