My brother and I bought my mom a gift card for Mothers Day. My daughters, my mom and I went for a girls day and left disappointed. My mom's nail tech was rude and did a poor job on her manicure. She left with her manicure polish smeared and blotchy. She was grateful for her gift but felt disappointed and said this was the reason why she didn't go to nail salons anymore. My pedicure was done by the same tech my mom had and she didn't speak a word to me and rushed through my pedicure. My daughters had a better nail experience, however, they told me their nail tech took pictures of them and kept commenting on how pretty they were especially their hair. This gave another customer a sense of entitlement as she also took a picture of them. They felt uncomfortable. I was getting my full set done so I wasn't able to witness this and was told on the drive home. They're 11 years old, no pictures should be taken without my consent. Terrible service for the price that was paid. Don't recommend. read more

i don't usually get my nails done because i haven't found a salon i liked. but after my experience, this is going to be my go-to salon. the place was pretty and looked classy. definitely impressed with my nails too, the nail tech did a great job copying the reference picture i showed. read more

I've been coming here for a few years. I found someone I really liked, who did a great job. I get my nails done every 2 weeks and stopped using her when she no-showed on me 3 times in 2 months. I would show up and find out she never came in, and would have to reschedule because they didn't have anyone else to do dip nails. Why they couldn't call, I don't know - our phone numbers are part of the reservation so they have them. So I switched to someone new - nice lady, did a good job. But she leaves out of the country every few months. Not a big deal but it's almost impossible to get in with someone else - they seem to have had a lot of turnover lately. Finally, found someone else within the salon but she's never on time (running 20-30 minutes late) which is frustrating. It's a clean place, they do a nice job, but customer service is pretty bad. And when I asked to talk to the manager recently, Tianna hung up on me. When I called back - she was extremely rude and I was just done. There is literally a nail salon - or two - on every corner around here so there are plenty of other options. read more

I really want to like this place, but they made it so hard to. The good news - they're friendly staff and accommodating. The bad - the quality of their service is low. Literally one day later two of my nails were chipped. I didn't do anything to chip them, so I don't know why. Yeah, the price is cheap, but the quality needs improvement. Made an appointment a couple days in advance for 10:00. The store wasn't too busy when we got there. Everything started great, we were greeted right away and they got started. It was the execution that really needed help. As people came in, the owner or what seemed to be be boss at the time was the one doing my nails, she started to rush and start the design on my nails while I was sitting in the pedi chair getting my heels scrubbed. I tried my very best to keep my hand as still as possible but I was a little confused why she couldn't wait till I was at least done with the massage part of the pedi. $140 later and now I have to pay someone else to start all over. read more

Well I had high hopes for this place. Aesthetically it's very pretty. I showed a picture of the shape I was after. The technician said okay and got to work. I picked a color I was so happy they had. Everything was looking good until she started shaping them. They were actually concave the edges were higher than the middle of the tip which of course was the opposite of what I asked for. So, I realized I would be doing more filing once I was home. Still excited about the color...:until she started putting the chrome over the top. They were so splotchy it just needed 3 coats instead of two. It's such an easy thing to do. If you see that it could use one more coat why not just add it on. I would usually say something but I figure if you work in this profession it should be something you can see with your own eyeballs. Ugh when I was paying I asked if they had a file I could purchase. The person cashing me out said she would fix them. They were already just so uneven that I still knew I would be unhappy and would be filing at home. The nails are just not pretty because they are so splotchy from needing just ONEEEE more coat. Moral of the story add the extra coat especially if your customer admits to being picky. $60 lighter in my wallet and thinking I'll just go buy the color and a chrome at the beauty store and redo them on my own. I'm going to start off with this: It wasn't terrible but it wasn't all that great either. The salon was very neat and well decorated. The environment was nice, but it seems some of the technicians are not. When I walked in there I was greeted and taken in right away without any wait. They directed me to a station and my nail technician was there ready for me. The technician did my nails well, but to be honest she was pretty intimidating. She was silent as a rock and was a bit rough on me. I sat there very awkwardly for about 20 min. not knowing really what to say or do other than let her work on my hand. I'm not asking for a best friend, but at least don't make it awkward! She seemed to be rushing alot as if to get me out of there and it made me feel uncomfortable and as if I was intruding on her time. Not only that, but her attention seemed to be distracted as she would check her phone constantly. When you go into a nail salon you go because you want to be pampered, not to sit there awkwardly. Pros: -My nails came out pretty good -Prices are not that bad Cons: -My technician was intimidating -Not very attentive All in all I think I would go again, but next time I will ask for a different technician. read more

I used to live in Phx, AZ and have moved to O.C, CA last month. I was reluctant to the idea of having to find a new nail salon since I had been going to Palace Nails for a year or so off and on. I thought I'd have a good shot at finding a decent place since I moved to the heart of an Asian community that is saturated with nail salons. I even used Yelp to find one that had a lot of great reviews and was a referral to me from a friend. Let me just say that at the end of the appointment at this new nail salon, I was missing Tina more than ever! Tina has been doing my full set and pedicure for the last couple years off and on and seriously does the best job ever! Whenever she does my nails they last forever, don't crack, don't have stupid bubbles and most important, she is very gentle with your hands and nails. I don't know who Heather had for her nail tech but it obviously wasn't Tina. If you do get a full set call in and set your appointment with **Tina or Jennifer**. They both speak fluent English so no miscommunication. Their facility is one of the best that I've been to- very elegant looking interior design and clean, new equipment. I drove 20-25 miles each way to go to this salon and was definitely worth the drive. Try them out! Definitely worth it! read more

If there was a zero rating I would give it. Went in Oct.18 and had my nails done because I couldn't get in to my regular salon. I have, or rather had, my own nails. On the way home one of my nails chipped and within 1-1/2 weeks I lost all my nails. Had a pedicure at my regular salon and they told me that palace nails did my nails all wrong. read more

Had to get my nails done in a pinch and decided to go here. Had them do my gel pedicure about 4 or 5 months ago and there was no issue. This time, a whole different story! The guy who did my nails caught my cuticles on just about each side with the drill, was super rough with the file, didnt even get the polish all the way to my cuticle and literally ripped my cuticle skin on one of my fingers with the cuticle clippers. Ouch! The girl who did my gel pedicure did an alright job except for my pinky toes, hardly any polish. Also, I have never been somewhere that has a $20 up charge for gel!! Seriously!? Also, there was bees flying around the shop and they kept telling me "its alright".... NO it isn't!! I will never go back. read more

I made an appointment for 10:15am. I waited till 11. Fine. Yes the wait sucked but I can tough it out. Apparently only two people in the nail salon know how to do acrylics (I was surprised being a cosmetologist and this being a nail salon but again, still fine) the lady doing my nails put 3 of this tips on crooked, which she blamed my fingers for. So we popped those off and proceeded. 2 hours later none of my nails are the same length, its definitely not what I asked for and the one that I told the owner was a problem, broke today. Again I just got them....TODAY. I would never recommend this place to anyone! Got to Royal Nails in the Albertsons plaza. They all know acrylics, the wait isnt like this place and your nails wont break in a day! read more

I went for a gel fill, and the girl that did my nails soaked them too long and went to town with the file. Half my nails tore and split within days. I had to take the gel off and wait for them to grow back out. I also got weird yellowish spots on my toenails. I've never had any problems with any other salon. read more

I have been going here for several years. I have natural nails so I am very fussy when they have to be cut back. I usually try to have Amy do my nails because of this. The spa chairs are great and I have never had a bad pedi....If you call ahead even an hour before it work well. If you pay cash you get a discount...Works for me read more
