I took myself in for some pampering and was able to get into my favorite massage chair right away. I love coming during the work day, since I know it's quieter. Does anyone else find it so satisfying when your nail tech knows how to clip nails with no blood drawn? No? Just me? I'm giving five stars solely based on that. I hate to have to write this but it is a must. I am very unhappy with the service I have been receiving at Nail Club. I use to love it here when Phong was still there. Now that she isn't I absolutely hate it. I have not gotta the same service as I did when Phong worked here. A few weeks ago I got a full set and pedi. The pedicure was the worst I've ever gotten. The water was cold and she only let my feet soak for 2 min each foot. She didn't scrub my foot nor take her time. Her massage was awful! I will not be returning. I would give this nail shop zero stars if possible! Yesterday, I went to this nail salon with the hope of getting my eyebrows waxed. My initial impression was the salon was clean and most employees had a mask on. An older gentleman greeted me and instructed me to follow a woman he called Michelle to a room to have my eyebrows waxed. I noticed Michelle never washed her hands, but, assumed she'd be wearing gloves while she waxed my eyebrows. When we entered the dark room, I noticed a guy sleeping on one of the waxing beds and he continued to sleep while she waxed my eyebrows, even when she turned a light on. She had me lie on the vacant bed and proceeded to wax my brows. During the waxing she continued to suggest that I get an eyebrow tattoo or miacro-blading and I made it clear that I wasn't interested. After she was done, I stood up and looked at my brows in their foggy, dirty mirror on the wall and wasn't satisfied. Even with the dim lighting and dirty mirror, I could still see a bunch of hairs where she had supposedly cleaned up. I pointed them out to her and she said she didn't seea anything! I decided to take her word as I didn't have my glasses on. After I arrived home, I used a smvall magnifying mirror and there were so many hairs and looked as if I had never had anything done. The salon had already closed for the day once I got home, so I decided to return to their salon and request that Michelle or someone else clean up my eyebrows a little more. The same older gentleman greeted me and said that Michelle could finish the job. Yet again, I followed her to the same room and I calmly explained that I didn't want my brows to be skinny, just cleaned up thoroughly. She then reminded me that she waxed my brows yesterday and told me I should be happy with how they looked! At this point, I noticed the other waxing table was vacant and had an adjustable light above it and requested that she look at my brows through that lens with the light and she could see the hairs that I referenced and she said no because she didn't need a light. I finally had enough when she threatened to completely wax all of my eyebrows off since that's what I wanted. I politely got up and left with her trailing behind me berating me. On my way out, I stopped and told the older gentleman that his employees shouldn't be rude to customers and he seemed apologetic as she continued yelling. She then yells "If you want your eyebrow perfect, you should leave and go home and do them yourself!" Please, please don't visit this nail salon if you don't want to be disappointed! This was hands down the worst eyebrow waxing that I've ever had in my life!! read more

I started coming here when I was 16. Almost 9 years! For so long they were so amazing, cared about what they were doing and did a fantastic job. Now, they are lazy, half-ass their work and get frustrated when I ask them to do something too time consuming. I am paying you and leaving you a tip to do a good job. Very friendly staff. Very attentive. I used to come here as a teen, stopped because I moved and now I'm back. This is my second time here in the past month. Both pedis have been very nice. The pink and white full set I got the last time lasted for over 2 weeks. The atmosphere does need to be updated and is not modern at all but still relaxing so for me, that doesnt take away from the experience. Pricing is good as well. ABSOLUTE WORST NAILS I HAVE EVER HAD!! (See my photos posted) I came here under two weeks ago and got a full set done. Within four days 2 nails had lifted. Within six days 4 Nails lifted and by the eighth day 7 Nails had lifted. I returned to the nail salon advising them of what was happening. They tried to blame me. I have been getting my nails done for over 20 years and I have never had this happen before like this. The gentleman doing my nails wasn't friendly and kept speaking in a different language the entire time. The only time he did speak to me was to ask me what color I wanted and acted irritated when it took me more than two minutes to pick out a color. I requested "coffin" shaped nails and ended up with what looks like mangled cat nails. Not only that, they advertise a fill for $20, he charged me $35 stating that was the price because he had to replace 7 nails. I advised him those nails lifted and I wasn't paying for something that I've already paid for previously that came off. He just kept repeating $35, so I paid it and decided to write this review. I have came to Nail Club several times in the past 3 years. I have normally not had any issues until today. I seen Tong or Thang I believe is her name. Tiny younger asian woman. She did my nails for the first time coffin. I have always gotten square shaped nails because that is the shape I've always gotten and am used to. However, I wanted to try something new. I got the coffin nails and then the next day I decided they weren't for me. I then came back and Tong was not there so another lady cut and filed them to make them more square. She had told me Tong can fix them more if I want to come back tomorrow which would be the 3rd time I came back. So today I come in and nobody's in the salon except one customer. The two ladies were sitting in pedicure chairs on their phones and Tong was the only one working. They told me to wait a little and she will do mine. I waited a few minutes then she calls me over after finishing the lady she was working on. I told her they were super sharp and I could poke my eye out. I mean, they were extremely sharp! I told her I'd like them square again. She started to argue and tell me I have to do round and that's not what I want. I've never done round and I don't like that. I asked for square. I've had square many times that weren't sharp like that. She said because I went from coffin to square they are sharp. But I know that you can file them down to be less sharp and use the buffer or drill. She asked me what I want her to do? I said I would like square nails that are filed down. I mean she's the nail tech and should know! She just continued to be super rude and argue with me. I told her this shouldn't be a big deal. I'm a regular too and come in every 2 weeks and this was completely unacceptable. I also had told her I realized you charged me more for coffin nails which I didn't even know costed more because I've never gotten them. This was my FIRST time and she knew it because I've been going to her consistently usually every 2 weeks. She blamed me saying I didn't ask the price. I didn't know I had to ask because i didn't think it would be more. A good salon will at least say "hey, this is gonna cost $5 more". She failed to let me know this. All she told me the day I got them was its $70. She didn't mention they costed more so I figured it was for my pedi and design. So anyways, after filing my nails they were STILL too sharp! I just ended up leaving because of how unprofessional and rude she was! I do not recommend this place anymore. This used to be my favorite place but this lady ruined it for me. Being rude in front of another customer to me and blaming me for her not informing me of stuff and not even fixing my nails. I ended up going to another salon who buffed them and now they're no longer sharp. She just didn't care or put effort into it. Also, the ladies in the salon sitting in the pedi chair were giving me dirty looks and talking in Vietnamese (probably about me). Don't waste your time or money! There's so many nail salons in Phoenix. They aren't the only ones. They don't even have comfortable pedi chairs and the massager never works. There's better places out there. read more

My mom and I are definite fans of Lee, Michelle and their staff. We get our mani/pedi's how we like them, with clean, careful and consistent and always creative attention. We LOVE how their nail designs are like jewelry for finger & toe nails. The spa chairs are always clean, in great condition, have massage. There are tons of nail polish colors to choose from and also the latest shades of Gel colors and several shades of fill powders. Warmed lotion and hot rag wraps are welcome extras with the pedicures. I got liquid gel nails done about a week and half ago at this salon. It was empty when I walked in and the employees were sitting around not very concerned they had a customer. The salon was old, outdated and not clean. The nail tech didn't do a good job and I showed her when I was about to pay and she had to redo all my nails. My Mom and I love Lee and Michele, the husband and wife team that own this store. They make you feel so special the moment you walk in the door. They even call you by your first name. I've had Michele do my manicure and pedicure she is so fast and accurate, if you need to be in and out and don't have time to relax she's perfect! Lee has always done my moms pedicure and does it the right way. He knows exactly what to do with her callus feet and cracks jokes all the time. I moved farther away so I'm not in there as often as I should but I will make a 45 minute drive if I have to to come here! read more
