The food is great. Delicious pizza and subs (when they listen) here is my gripe. If you order over the phone or online and tell them how you want it cooked , they 9 out of 10 times won't do it. If you order in person it's perfect every time and absolutely yummy. I understand it can get pizza but if I'm paying money I want it how I want it. If I like my meat less pink then cook it longer or want it more crunchy cook it longer. I don't understand the issue. Due to our schedules, we eat takeout from palace a few times a week so I may sound biased. I always get takeout and no kidding, the food arrives fast! They usually give you a timeframe of 45 minutes and it's more like 20. The portions are large and prices are fair. Definitely worth checking out. read more

Placed an online order at 6:00 PM for delivery at 7:15. It is now 7:40PM. I called and asked about it. The woman on the phone said, it is out the door, we only have one driver. My Favorite Pizza and Sub take out is Palace Pizza & More. I have never had better service. This evening I was delighted with my Heavenly Supper. A large Steak, Cheese and Mushroom Sub and a small Hawaiian Ham & Pineapple Pizza. Both entrees were delivered to my door by a very polite young man within 25 minutes. My sub and pizza were still hot and delicious. I will never order take out from another place. Why mess with perfection. Thank for the wonder service and delicious meal. My girlfriend and I placed an order and what was delivered didn't include what was described in their menu. Called in to ask to have the problem resolved. The manager said every driver was out and it was going to be some time. I requested a new item based on the fact that the original item was going to cold once I received what was requested. The manager said that my request was not acceptable. This is the third time in the last five orders we have placed where a mistake was made. The other two times the driver was dispatched right back. This business obviously doesn't need our business. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. read more

Palace Pizza is the worst pizza & sub place in town! The pizza is extra greesy, the cheese taste terrible, the crust is thin soggy 'n floppy, and there is little to no sauce. It is the secound worst pizza I have ever had! So hanging out in the shop nextdoor I start getting pretty hungry. Then I head over to Palace Pizza, and order a large roast beef sub since I know their pizza is terrible. They tell me it will be ten minutes. So I leave, and come back in about twelve minutes. I ask for my sub, and they tell me they must have given it to the wrong person! Now it is another ten minutes untill I get my sub. When I get my sub I am not even sure it should legally be called a "roast beef" sub there was just so little meat on it! There was only four slices of roast beef, and about three slices of cheese for the just under ten dollars I paid for this thing! Talk about a dissapointing experience. I should have just gone to the chinese place in the same plaza. I would have gotten much better food, and much more of it for only a dollar more! read more

I used to love this palace location and ate here all the time. My last few visits didn't go so well. Most recently my wrap not only fell apart but the chicken was fatty and stringy. I am always willing to look past one bad visit, but today I called in an order at 10:21 on a SATURDAY and they are open until 11. When they answered i was only allowed pickup and pizza. Which thank god for me I wanted pizza. I felt so uncomfortable and rushed from the moment I called to when I got there at 1040 and they were mopping the floors and made me feel like I was inconveniencing them! God forbid you want a pizza on the weekend before 1030, poor customer service. read more

At first looking at the star rating I almost drove past the place. But my wife read the reviews and one complaint was Price. Hardly a reason to give it a one star. So I disregarded that negative review. The next one star review was the type of customer everybody in the restaurant business knows. If he didn't get his dinner roll with his pasta he would like you to replace it with a small pizza to make him compensated. I disregarded this "never satisfied "customer review. We went in and at first site it looked like they hired Ex Cons. They looked like the cast of Con Air. Tattoos and long hair. It seems like everyone was newly hired. They had to ask questions to the coworkers. The owner came out and helped. What a bunch of polite and helpful employees. He showed me a cooked pizza which looked yummy so we ordered pizza and onion rings. Food came out quick and it was absolutely delicious. The pizza ranked top 5. This place is way too expensive. The prices used to be more comparable to others in town, but my family ordered a large cheese pizza and a large pizza with extra cheese and came to almost $35. Got take out and was disappointed; the flat bread was great, but meatballs was a disappointment. Four meatballs with so much sauce for four plates of pasta. While hanging out at the boat, at popes island marina, my boyfriend and I ordered delivery. We ordered, bacon cheese fries, a steak, cheese, mushroom and onion sub, and a pastrami sub. Ok Fairhaven palace is the worst palace pizza anywhere around which includes Fairhaven, New Bedford and North Dartmouth. The girl with the braids is always rude whether in person or on the phone. The prices are way to expensive compared to other palace pizzas. The wait times are always long even when they aren't busy because they rather talk in the back. Something is always wrong with the food once I receive it .. so I will just order from a place further away in the future. My most recent order was a roast beef sub "well done/no pink meat" (NOT BURNT) .. the time they gave me was wrong they say half hour it was more like 50 minutes. well I get home open it up and guess what the bread was well done burnt and the meat inside completely raw. I complain and they had the nerve to tell me when someone says well done usually it means the bread not the meat.. OH MY GOD.. that was the most idiotic excuses I could have ever imagined them giving me. I will never order from that place again and I wouldn't suggest anyone order from there. Absolutely pathetic and lazy establishment Fire the people you have working there because they are lazy and more worried about leaving than running a good business.
