A nice mom and pop place where all the locals sit and chat w each other with ease and fun. we enjoyed this aspect the most. The food was good, staff nice...free parking lot. The maduros were ripe and good!

This place was an absolutely hidden gem. Don't be discouraged by the surrounding neighborhood. This makes it all the better to try. The amazing flavors of all the food were far superior than any local Hispanic, or Mexican place we have ever tried. The staff was exceptional and explained everything. The ambience was a local hole in the wall but something you do not want to miss out on.

Photo taken AFTER I finished eating! :) food portions are great here!

Incredible!! I added a photo but I didn't take the photo until AFTER I was done eating. This is what was left of my meal thats how wonderful the portion sizes are! I'm saving the rest for lunch. Haha. But I ordered the 'Palomilla with 2 eggs a Cabello' and a 'Carne Empanada' Omg best empanada I've had in years! I have a list I've curated over the years of my favorite restaurants for breakfast, and this has beat out all of them! The food is delicious, and so full of flavor, and large portion size. No wonder people recommend this place! The staff is so warm and kind and the food is so good that I'll probably get it multiple times a month and I don't even eat out like that. Lol. I just know I will crave it it's so good.

I have a thing for Cuban food. And my morning rocks after dining on Cuban toast dunked in Cafe Con Leche. Finding the perfect combo is always a challenge. Cafe Con Leche without enough cafe or with lukewarm Leche or with imperfectly added sugar is so disappointing. Cuban bread that is barely pressed or stale enough to use a a door stop or not buttered on the outside causes sadness. Not here. Not at this tiny little cafe with its kind owners who ask all the right questions. Yes I want my toast crispy (double pressed for those places using timers). No barely warm and barely squished bread for me! And yes I must have sugar because like those who consumed Cafe Con Leche long before me, I need to get through a long day!! I loved my combo ($4.55) and know I will be back for the boliche or snapper or chicken or whatever is on the daily specials board. This is an unpretentious little place with basic tables, a tile floor, a hot food cafeteria style counter and the kind of exterior you might drive by. If you like Spanish food, don't.

If your looking for the true old school Cuban West Tampa flavor look no further!!!! All meals are made fresh daily with that Lil touch of amor and sason just like your Abuela used to make it. The portions sizes are good and many daily specials to tempt you taste buds. They serve many of the old classic Cuban comfort foods that always brings me back... If your in the area and want some authentic classic West Tampa Cuban food stop in your tummy will thank you..

    Tons of food. Exceptional Value!

Excellent food and service. Tony and Beatice were great. Tony has a great selection of available choices on the menu. Don't pass tbis place by because it looks small on the outside. Loved the Ropa Vejeha..! Daily Specials too! We will be back soon!

Great Cuban food restaurant. Know for their breakfast and lunch specialties. Limited daily menu with a great selection, freshness, taste. All serve very casual. You can eat in or take out. Friday's they have delicious fish soup, fresh fish prepared to your liking. No liquor. Modest prices and great service by the owner and his staff.

Pork chunks, yellow rice, Moro and green beans.

Best Spanish restaurant in town! Very fresh and delicious tasting. Inexpensive and large portions.

Not sure what happened here but this is the "cheese grits" I received today from this place along with under cooked fries n chicken tenders

The wait staff were very friendly, Mark my waiter, has worked here for over 20 year! Speaks volumes about how they run this place! The service was chill, and the food was 1000% full of delicious flavor. I tried their classic famous salad, the seafood paella, and the flan! Absolutely hit the spot!! Visiting here on a Sunday evening was a totally different experience! It felt less like dining out and more like sharing a family meal in a much-loved, historic home. I'll definitely be returning and will bring friends and family with me next time I visit Tampa!

As the oldest restaurant in Florida and the largest Spanish restaurant in the world, we felt it was a must-visit to experience its rich history and unique atmosphere. We also reserved seats for the Flamenco dance show, which had a $10 cover charge per person. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful and enormous, with so many different dining rooms. You could probably get lost trying to find your friends inside, just kidding! We were lucky enough to get a table near the stage, so we could enjoy the Flamenco performance while having dinner. For our meal, we started with the Caldo Gallego "Giant Soup" ($10), which was hearty, flavorful, and incredibly comforting. We also ordered Columbia's Original "1905" Salad ($18). Made with crisp iceberg lettuce, julienned baked ham, natural Swiss cheese, tomatoes, olives, grated Romano cheese, Lea & Perrins® Worcestershire sauce, and their famous garlic dressing, it was fresh, light, and absolutely delicious. Our main dish was the Mojito Chicken ($25). The chicken was very flavorful, especially with its delicious citrus-garlic sauce. Although the chicken itself was just a little on the dry side in my opinion, the flavorful sauce made up for it, and the dish was still very enjoyable. We also had the Paella "a la Valenciana" ($40), which was loaded with clams, mussels, shrimp, scallops, calamari, chicken, and pork, along with green peppers, Spanish onions, ripe tomatoes, garlic, and a splash of white wine. It was a generous portion packed with fresh seafood and rich Spanish flavors. The New York Strip Sirloin "The Bambino" ($53) was another excellent choice. The 14 oz. USDA Choice wet-aged boneless strip steak was tender, juicy, and cooked perfectly. To finish our meal, we ordered the Flan ($8). It was smooth, creamy, and absolutely delicious, a perfect ending to a wonderful dinner. The Flamenco dance show was fantastic! The dancers were energetic and passionate, making the entire dining experience even more lively and memorable. Combined with the excellent service, it made for a truly enjoyable evening. Overall, Columbia Restaurant is much more than just a place to eat, it's a historic landmark and an unforgettable dining experience. Between the beautiful Spanish architecture, rich history, delicious food, outstanding service, and exciting Flamenco performance, it's definitely worth visiting when you're in Ybor City.

There's plenty of seating throughout without it feeling crowded or like you're sitting on top of the table next to you. Their brunch prix menu is awesome - highly, highly recommend going for brunch and trying this menu because not only are the food options on there fantastic, but it's a great value. We all ordered different items so we could share and try a little bit of everything, and there wasn't a single bad thing on the menu, the patatas bravas, potato tortilla, and croquetas were all really yummy starters and you can't go wrong with any of them. The bulla burger, bulla Benedict, and braised pork hash were also all really great - I love breakfast foods, so the Benedict was my favorite personally and the crispy chorizo bits were really good. The desserts were my least favorite probably - the churros were good, they're basic churros. The dessert empanadas I didn't care for too much, I think the truffle honey was too much for me and it was hard to taste the quince or cream cheese. Our service was also phenomenal - Bambi was very friendly and had a great attitude! Would def recommend Bulla for a good brunch date spot.

This time around we got the Huevos Bulla, which was relatively hearty with the salty ham and gooey egg, with the potato chips providing a lot of crunchy texture to the dish. We also got the Grilled Steak, which was a new dish for me to try. This is probably going to be one of my favorite dishes from now on. The steak was tender and the truffle foam was to die for (even after the meat was gone i was eating that sauce up, no leftovers). Another new try for me was the seasonal Lamb Cannelloni. The lamb was gamey and the wrapping was soft. The sauce it came with definitely helped enhance the flavor; without the sauce it was just okay. I order the Kalimotxo drink, which, with the cola and lemon, helped brighten up the wine-forward drink.

The texture was perfect and the flavor was flawless! It was sweet but not too sweet. Great dessert! Definitely check your food before leaving though as they did forget part of the meal. Not a big deal as the guy up front was super apologetic and friendly. That dude was great! They need more just like him. Also, not the cleanest, floors needed swept and mopped.
